“Molly loves her time with Lindsey and her family. We’ve used her multiple times now and I know when I leave her there she is loved and well taken care of. Our favorite sitter ever!”

“We were so nervous leaving our puppy for so many days, but Chelsea and her husband treated Blue like one of their own dogs. I loved all the cute daily updates and pics we received and it was so obvious how much fun our puppy had there. Would gladly book with her again.”

“Tammy and her whole family are so sweet and welcoming! We did a meet and greet to let our dogs play together, and she kept me updated several times a day on how my boy was doing and sent the cutest pictures! Definitely the best home to let your dog go vacation in!”

“We loved working with Chelsey! She and her family loved on our dog and treated him like one of their own! She did a great job taking care of him and made sure he had a comfortable stay. Thank you!”

“Bailey loved it here! She was played with a lot and got a lot of exercise. She didn't seem as excited to see me as I thought, which tells me she had a great time with Stephanie and her daughter. I got adorable pictures, and Stephanie responded really fast to all inquiries and messages.”

“They took such great care of our dog and we had no worries about him at all on our trip! They sent pictures and videos, and he looked like he had the best time!”
“We’re so grateful we found Kristin to watch Sage! Drop off and pick up was easy. It was evident she loves her furry friends. Sage seemed to have a great time and was returned happy. Kristin was great about sending photos and updates. We’ll definitely use her again when we return to Utah!”

“Renee is always a joy to deal with (as well as her family)! She's always so easy going, flexible, and is sure to keep me posted on how my dogs are doing (to include pictures). Even though she doesn't have a fenced in backyard, I know my pups are safe with her and I never have to worry. Her family treats my dogs with the same care, love, and respect that their dogs get. I certainly feel I don't have to look any further than Renee when it comes to finding a pet sitter!”

“We absolutely loved having our dog stay with Mary and her family. We had to book a sitter last minute because my wife was going into labor with our first child, and she handled it all perfectly. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Mapleton
Renee and her family are wonderful. My pups always get the attention, exercise, and care they need. They're kids keep my pups entertained, which is a blessing to my dogs and me! I can never say enough good things about the care Renee and her family give my precious pups!

Mandi and her children were great with my dog Shadow. Shadow loves attention and she certainly got it from Mandi and her family. Her children showered Shadow with love. Mandi sent me photo updates of Shadow. Shadow certainly seemed happy and content. I highly recommend Mandi for your dog boarding needs.

I'm mostly disappointed I don't live closer because Emily and family would be my go-to every single time if I did. They only get 5 stars because I can't go any higher. One of my dogs had a medical emergency while with them (not related at all to their care, just a result of getting older) and they took care of her like she was their own....or even better than many would take care of their own. When Maya was having difficulty walking, Emily literally carried her around and did the whole thing keeping me aware of every update. And her (and the kids') genuine love for my dogs shown through again and again. I've had a variety of good and bad experiences on Rover, but this is the best sitter I have ever worked with. Literally can not recommend them highly enough

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
