“Jewell was absolutely perfect for our pup! He's only 6 months old so he's a handful to say the least... but I swear he came home a better dog! She's a dog lover through and through and I can tell our dog Gus had the time of his life! I will definitely be booking with Jewell again for dog boarding anytime we go out of town. Thanks Jewell!”
About: I have had dogs since 2012 but none currently and recently have gotten cats. I have a fenced back yard and dog door for easy potty breaks and play time. I have a full time job so I can only pet sit on very specific days. Check my availability for more details, I'll keep it up dated for clear information. I have a doggy door and a fenced back yard for easy pooty breaks and play time. Right now I have 2 cats, they are both very well behaved and are very kind. I have multiple food and water bowls and multiple cat litter boxes.
“Emily and her family are fabulous! We are convinced our dog Finn may love their family more than ours ☺️🐶🩵. Great with communication and updates for how he is doing with playtime and walks, etc. and very accommodating.”

“Brecken was amazing with our dog! She is definitely comfortable with dogs, sent us periodic updates, and loved him like her own. He was well cared for while we were out of town!”

“Cheri was absolutely amazing. We have a pretty high energy pup, and Cheri was the perfect fit with her sweet lab Pixie! They were best friends and kept each other entertained. Cheri also sent so many pictures and videos updated us and helping us have a peace of mind. She always responded super quick and was willing to be flexible. 10/10 recommend!!”

“Erin was great with my dog, he is usually very scared and timid around people he doesn't know but he warmed right up to her and was very comfortable. She sent lots of photos and updates on how he was doing!”

“Crystal was able to help me out while I went out of town for Thanksgiving! My puppy is 3 months old, and she had no issue with him being a puppy. She took great care of him and sent me updates and pictures! I’m pretty sure my puppy had more fun there than he does at home and got his own little puppy vacation :)”

“Heather was the best post for Dallas. We’re so happy he was able to stay with Heather and other new friends. We’re definitely gonna reach out when we come back. How do you recommend Heather for your pooch.”

“Choi was wonderful with my sweet pupper Army! This is my first time using Rover to petsit my dog and she made sure I knew I left my dog in the right hands! I got daily photos of the walks they went on and videos of all the dogs getting along. I can, with 100% certainty, recommend Choi for all your dog sitting needs and wants!!”

“Raechel was awesome! I’m a nervous dog boarder and I had no worries with her. My dog is a little finicky and we had zero issues at all. She sent plenty of updates and my girl had a great time :)”

“Hailey was wonderful! She was warm, responsive and made us feel like our dog was well taken care of! This was the first time we left our dog, and it was for 11 days! She was great. She was also very responsive and adaptable when we picked up our dog early because we changed plans to come home a few days earlier than anticipated.”

“Kelsey and Dustin were so great! They took great care of Joey, sent lots of pictures, and gave updates the entire time. My dog really liked the family and got along super well with their dog, Loki. Overall it was an amazing experience and we’ll definitely be asking for their help in the future 🌟”

“This was my dog’s third time staying with Nalani, and I can’t recommend her enough! She’s always so flexible with pickup and drop-off times, and I truly feel at ease leaving my pup with her—especially this time, since my dog had recently been spayed. Nalani sent daily photo updates and stayed in great communication the entire time. My mom’s dog has also stayed with her in the past, and she was just as amazing with him too. She really goes above and beyond, and we’re so grateful to have found her!”

“Ann took such good care of our pup! He is a really nervous dog but he warmed right up to her. She was great about communication and sending us updates multiple times a day. I would leave our dog with her again for sure!”

“Jessica was an amazing dog sitter! She took such great care of my dog and made the whole experience stress free. I really appreciated the daily updates and photos. They gave me peace of mind while I was away. My flight ended up getting delayed and she was very understanding and flexible with the pickup time, which I am incredibly grateful for. I will definitely be using her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and easy to work with!”

“Sarah is the ABSOLUTE best. She took such loving care of our "baby". He ended up being with her for 2 months. Sarah was so accommodating. She feels like part of my family now!! And it was so obvious how well taken care of our boy was. Couldn't be more grateful to have found Sarah. Would totally recommend using Sarah for your pet care!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Lindon
I love that she has herding dog experience (I have a high drive aussie). This was my first time leaving my dog with someone besides family and I felt much more confident leaving him with someone who has real dog experience, not someone who just 'loves dogs'. I also loved that she gave photo updates. Overall great experience and I'll be using her in the future.

Super happy with our 1st experience! I was so nervous to leave my baby girl, I wrote Lisa a whole book of instructions, and she was so understanding and informative, sharing such good information to give me peace of mind. My KOA had so much fun, she came out super happy.

Benita watched our 2 little guys for a week. We will be using her again and again! She is calm, sweet, loves animals and made me feel very comfortable leaving them in her care. She has THE BEST energy. She walked them daily, played fetch in her beautiful back yard, and gave them lots of loves. They were happy pups in her care. 100 stars!!!!

Briana was amazing. She went above and beyond to make our dog feel comfortable and regularly sent pictures and updates, clearly making sure to give our dog the best possible experience. She took walks, played outside, and helped coordinate a difficult schedule with no issue. Highly recommend and we’re so grateful for her help!

We left our two golden retrievers with her for a week for the first time amd wantd them to be somewhere they could feel at home. Caitee was so great! She is prepared, organized, sweet and responsive. I received daily updates and photos and my dogs were well cared for and treated like family. I will definitely book with her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
