He was super communicative and clearly has a ton of experience with dogs. His own dog is a rescue, which made me feel even more confident leaving Cara with him since she’s a foster. Hao sent daily photos and videos, and it was so reassuring to see how happy and comfortable Cara was every day. He’s incredibly caring and intentional with the dogs he watches. Brecken did a great job, and we appreciated the attention and care she gave our dogs while we were away on vacation. She was gracious to accept our last-minute booking when another sitter cancelled last minute. Our dogs have a lot of energy and can be a handful, but Brecken did a good job navigating the situation. We appreciated her communication by keeping us updated throughout the week with pictures. Overall, it was a good experience and we would recommend her to friends. I'm mostly disappointed I don't live closer because Emily and family would be my go-to every single time if I did. They only get 5 stars because I can't go any higher. One of my dogs had a medical emergency while with them (not related at all to their care, just a result of getting older) and they took care of her like she was their own....or even better than many would take care of their own. When Maya was having difficulty walking, Emily literally carried her around and did the whole thing keeping me aware of every update. And her (and the kids') genuine love for my dogs shown through again and again. I've had a variety of good and bad experiences on Rover, but this is the best sitter I have ever worked with. Literally can not recommend them highly enough
