“5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Heather provided an exceptional experience for our pup Skye. From her responsive communication to regular photo updates, Heather ensured Skye was comfortable and loved throughout her stay. Skye returned home happy and content, a true testament to Heather's care and dedication. Heather exceeded all expectations, and we wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking a trustworthy caregiver for their furry friends. Thank you, for a fantastic experience!”

“Taylee was amazing!! She was great to check in with me and provide updates/pictures throughout my dogs stay. It was so nice not having to worry about my dog while I was away on vacation. I would 10/10 recommend sending your dog to her!!”

“Victoria was fantastic and she and her family treated Reese like their own. She sent me updates and pictures and Reese came home happy and tired from her playtime with their family!”

“They truly love their cats, and took wonderful care of mine despite my cat's diet and their busy schedules. The only thing I wish there was more of is photos l, but that is only my fault for failing to ask. They were very understanding of my situation, I don't think I'd have my kitties if they didn't take them in. Would board again if the situation ever arises!! And not for emergency, but for a vacation.”

“This was my first time booking a sitter on Rover and I’m so glad I made the right decision on choosing Sheyla to take care of our Zero. She took great care of Zero and sent me photos of him on his walks and him enjoying belly rubs. We picked up a very happy Zero ? thank you Sheyla!”

“This is the second time we used them this year. This was a longer booking, almost two weeks. Loved the updates and how the whole family was engaging and offering enrichment to our Oreo. They are awesome and we felt comfortable and relaxed about trusting Oreo to them. Again hands down best sitters have found for our girl.”
“Shyanne was very easy to work with. My dogs loved the time they were there especially playing with her own dog and the kids. She kept me updated while I was away and pick up went quickly and smooth. I plan on going back everytime I need a dog sitter.”

“Mallory and Bryce were awesome! They took such great care of our mini (very anxiety prone) poodle Des. Mallory sent me lots of updates to show she was settling in well. Looking forward to her next visit in August.”

“Kim did a great job taking care of our 15 year old Italian Greyhound. Senior dogs sometimes have unique challenges and ours is no different. Kim sent us pictures and updates while we were away so we knew he was doing well.”

“Ashley was amazing! We are so lucky we found her. She took such great care of our pups and so did her sweet kiddos. We have big dogs (German Shepherd & Bernese Mountain) and I was nervous about someone else handling them just because they’re so big! But she put all our worries at ease with the meet and greet and she handled them so well. We’d absolutely book with her again!”

“This was the first time Lincoln has stayed overnight with Renee and her family. I already knew he would be well taken care of. Renee has watched him before during the day. They're a caring and loving family that genuinely care about your dogs like their own!”

“Tammy and her whole family are so sweet and welcoming! We did a meet and greet to let our dogs play together, and she kept me updated several times a day on how my boy was doing and sent the cutest pictures! Definitely the best home to let your dog go vacation in!”

“Jed was great! He and his wife are really friendly and he responded promptly which really saved us. We had to move and needed immediate overnight care. He took great care of her. Even with just the short overnight stay she seemed really happy there and got along well with their own dog too.”

“Jessica was fantastic. Very loving towards dogs. Very accommodating as well. I will send my dog with her every time for now on if I can. Exceptionally clean house and great yard.”

“Lindsey provided excellent, loving care for our sweet Snuggles while she cared for him from July 26-July 31st! He was part of a fun and vibrant family and very well taken care of.I would be happy to use Lindsey's service again and gladly recommend her to anyone with a boarding need who has a dog that can be trusted around other dogs and small children.”

“She was truly amazing, friendly and provided plenty of check ins with pictures that gave so much piece of mind! She would also voice any concerns and/or updates that were worth mention and that was really appreciated.”

“Our pups were in great hands with Nicole, James and their kids. They had great communication, were accommodating, and our pups came home clean, well loved, and exhausted! We will definitely be using them again. Thank you!”

“This was our first time leaving our dog. It was SO nice to know he was taken care of! Stacey and Jacob sent pictures and kept me updated on Bear all week! Will definitely use them again! Bear had the BEST time with his new friends!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Springville
We felt confident from our pre-appointment meeting with Sharon and Cornelius that this would be a great fit to watch our senior mini dachshund, Rascal. Happy to say that we were not disappointed and, in fact, we're delighted by how well-cared-for our pup was. He has only ever been watched by family and usually in our own home. We looked for a placement that only took one dog at a time and had a fenced yard. Everything went perfectly and we loved seeing the daily photos.

I'm mostly disappointed I don't live closer because Emily and family would be my go-to every single time if I did. They only get 5 stars because I can't go any higher. One of my dogs had a medical emergency while with them (not related at all to their care, just a result of getting older) and they took care of her like she was their own....or even better than many would take care of their own. When Maya was having difficulty walking, Emily literally carried her around and did the whole thing keeping me aware of every update. And her (and the kids') genuine love for my dogs shown through again and again. I've had a variety of good and bad experiences on Rover, but this is the best sitter I have ever worked with. Literally can not recommend them highly enough

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
