Zoe was incredible!! I am with my dog pretty much 24/7 so to say that I had anxiety leaving him was an understatement. Zoe and Jacob did such an incredible job taking care of Canelo for the two weeks that I was gone that it eased all my worries! I would recommend her to anyone as she takes care of dogs as if they were her own. I am so grateful for all that they did!!!

From start to finish, I truly couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter than Emily she went above and beyond. I was initially nervous about leaving Oakley, but she quickly put my mind at ease by following his regimented schedule to a tee. Her attention to detail and genuine care were truly exceptional. She kept me updated with regular photos and took Oakley on long walks each day. Thanks to Emily, I was able to relax knowing he was in the best hands possible. I highly recommend her

About: I’ve always had a natural connection with animals and genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’m patient, attentive, and respectful of the routines that help pets feel safe and comfortable. Whether your pet needs playtime, quiet companionship, walks, feeding, medication reminders, or extra reassurance while you’re away, I’ll care for them with kindness and consistency. I’m especially mindful of pets who are shy, anxious, older, or simply need a little more patience and one-on-one attention. My schedule is very open flexible, which allows me to give pets consistent attention throughout the day! I can plan my routine around feeding times, walks, playtime, check-ins, and any special care instructions. I take pet-sitting commitments seriously and make sure each pet receives plenty of companionship, care, and one-on-one attention while their owner is away. I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely, maintain their normal routine, and make sure doors, gates, leashes, and feeding areas are secure. For pets staying in my home, I provide a calm, clean, and comfortable environment where they can settle in at their own pace. I keep a close eye on their safety, follow their usual feeding and medication schedule, and make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, rest, and affection. I never force interaction and am especially patient with pets who are shy, anxious, or adjusting to a new environment. I’ll also provide regular updates so you can feel confident that your pet is safe and well cared for.

About: Hi, I'm Sarah! I just graduated from BYU after studying elementary education & psychology, and I'm looking for some extra time with animals as well as to help pay for daily expenses. I love cats in particular, as I grew up with 2 at home and volunteered in the cat room of an animal shelter. But I also love dogs and have been a dog-sitter many times before. I often have treats and toys to bring with me and I always send daily updates on how your pet is doing so you can stay informed. I love to go for walks in the park and if your pet does too, I think we'd be a great match. :) If you'd like to book, send me a message! I'm working at an elementary school right now during the mornings & afternoons but I typically have availability in the evenings M-F from about 3pm-9pm, and more on weekends, depending on the week. I am a responsible and cautious person and I will keep your pet's safety as the #1 priority. I will take into account specific health needs as well as general needs.

Catie was a wonderful dog sitter! Our dog normally gets depressed when we travel and she'll not eat. It's been a game changer having Catie dog sit at the house. Our dog actually ate and was happy! She left a sweet note and took great care of not only the dog, but the house as well. Thanks Catie!! We'll definitely be rebooking.

She was exceptionally communicative, always checking in and ensuring that she fully understood and addressed all our specific needs regarding their care. Mark was amazing with our 3 dogs. We were very hesitant to leave them with someone we didn't know for a week and a half. But, Mark was so great to come over beforehand to meet us and meet the girls to make sure it was going to be a good fit for everyone. Mark was great with asking questions and making sure he understood our expectations before we left. While at our house, he did all the dogs' favorite things with them - long walks, runs, rides in the truck, snuggles on the couch. He kept us posted with pictures and videos and updates. When we got home, he had the house looking even better than we'd left it. We will definitely be looking to Mark first whenever we need someone to care for our girls.

A very caring sitter in a calm environment, which is what my elderly dog needs. Charlie has quite a few medicines, including three eyedrops. Darlena took it all in stride. I especially appreciated her letting Charlie sleep with her as he's used to cuddling overnight. Already scheduling two more stays for Charlie and have recommended her to a friend.

About: Hi! I’m Ella, and I’ve been around animals my entire life. Growing up, we always had at least three dogs and a few cats in the house, so caring for pets has always come naturally to me! I have over 8 years of pet-sitting experience and have cared for dogs of all sizes, from tiny Dachshunds to big German Shepherds. I’ve worked with puppies who are still potty training, senior dogs who need a little extra help, and pets who take daily medications (I’m pretty good at sneaking pills into turkey when needed 😉). I love being outside, so if your dog has lots of energy and enjoys long walks or hikes, we’ll get along great! But I’m also totally happy taking things slow and letting your pup stop to sniff every blade of grass along the way 😂. I’m currently in nursing school and am EMT-certified, so I’m responsible, detail-oriented, and comfortable staying calm in unexpected situations. I only have 1–2 clinical days a week, which means I have a pretty flexible schedule otherwise. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I’ll make sure they get lots of love, attention, and care while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet them! I know our pets are family, and leaving them in someone else’s care can be stressful. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable while you’re away! Whether I’m stopping by for a walk or staying in your home, I’ll give your pet plenty of love, attention, and care. I’m also happy to send lots of updates and photos so you can see how much fun we’re having together!

If I could rate Gayle 1000 stars I would. I was so nervous to leave my dog for a week, and almost didn’t go on a trip because of that. But after we met Gayle, I knew my dog would be really taken care of. My dog gets nervous around new people, and Gayle did really great with that. She gave him space, and let him warm up to her at the pace he was comfortable. She is an angel and I hope I never have to find a new pet sitter.

Ashtyn was very accommodating. I had to drop my dog indy off at 5:30 am and she was awake to meet him at the door before I even knocked. My dog immediately embraced and warmed up to her. When I picked him up after work he was in a great mood. Happy as can be and was ready for a nap right when he got home. She took wonderful care of my puppy.

FAQs for House Sitting - Springville

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Springville on Rover is $36.63 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of August 2026, there are 930 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Springville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Springville walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Springville maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Springville choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Springville. On Rover:

  • 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
