Adam (the adult): I grew up with a Brittany Spaniel and then a black lab. Both were great dogs. We've now had our vizsla for over two years. I trained both my lab and our vizsla (who is extremely well behaved). She is our daily running and hiking companion. I administer her vaccines myself, so we can do medications if needed. Jack (the kid): "I help my family take care of my dog Hazel. I got Hazel about two years ago. I am especially good at loving and playing with dogs. I also take care of my chickens and fish." Our schedule is very flexible. Between myself and my wife, someone is almost always at home for the kids and the pets. Let us know your time needs and we will figure out how to accommodate it. We have a large fenced yard with several shady spots. Our dog loves sunning herself on our lawn. We run our dog daily, and can take yours too. Or if your pup enjoys a more lazy pace, we'll go for a walk. We live just a few blocks from a couple different parks and schools and enjoy letting our girl run free on the fields as well. We also live just blocks away from a paved trail and the dirt trails in the hills above Orem. We have a large crate for your dog, if needed. An adult, one or more kids, and our Vizsla are almost always at home. Our kids love dogs and will be giving lots of extra love. Our dog is generally playful with other dogs, and has never once been aggressive or even barked at another dog. In fact, she is a known feature of our neighborhood and neighbors I don't even know come over to say hi to her by name.
