About: Talley’s House has two adults that work from home, two teenage dog loving sons, and two pups, Talley (12+) and Oz (2) that love to meet and play with new friends! We have a great setup for dogs of all types, and we would love to watch your dog(s)! We acknowledge we may not be right for everyone. Please read all the details in our profile to determine if our home is right for you. We work from home - pet care is baked into our daily/weekly routine. A TYPICAL DAY: 6:30-8:00 a.m. interactive playtime (fetch, tug-of-war, etc. ) 8:00-8:30 a.m. morning feeding and rest 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. open playtime - we work while the dogs play. They come in an out freely while we supervise from our workstation. We group dogs as needed. We do NOT need beds, food dishes, or leash. We engage in activities that stimulate their prey drive (fetch, tug-of-war...), play drive (playtime with Talley, Ozzy, and other guests), and work on training behaviors a couple of times a day, as appropriate. They are out of the kennel interacting with dogs and people most of the day. In order for your dog to have a great experience, they need to play well with other dogs and be comfortable spending time in a kennel. SAFETY & TRUST: We have been trained in behavior recognition to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests. When we have multiple guests, we group dogs as needed (by age, size, "fixed" or not, temperament, and/or energy level) to optimize the experience for each guest. We feed them in a kennel to ensure food isn't shared and give them quiet time after meals to ensure they have adequate time to digest before playing again. We expect our guests to be up to date with their vaccinations. When a new dog arrives give them time to explore on their own, then we gradually introduce them to other dogs to assess temperament and compatibility. That is the reason we prefer to limit the pickup and dropoff windows so we can devote that critical time. Please see availability for more info on times. ENVIRONMENT: We have a dedicated space both indoors and outdoors for the dogs. Inside we have an air-conditioned apartment dedicated to the dogs. They have a couch, area rug, background music, and their own 4x4, 4x6, or 5x5 kennel. We reserve a corner for a workstation where we work during the day. Outside we have a fenced area for the dogs with turf and toys. We setup a canopy for extra shade on hot sunny days since we don't have natural shade from trees yet. We wet the turf down on hot days to ensure it's comfortable for the dogs as well.
About: I have had pets all my life, dogs, cats, hamsters, birds. You name it, I have probably had it. I love all pets but especially dogs! I have taken all the dogs I have own to training and love being with them. I own 2 dogs now. 1 is named Koda and she is a full golden retriever and the other is Lucy, she is a Golden retriever/ Lab mix. They are indoor lovable dogs. I believe that dogs are apart of the family, so in my house they are allowed to be on the furniture to cuddled with! I am a stay at home mom and have 2 dogs. Your dogs will be walked (when it is not crazy hot out) Loved on and played with while you are away! I am happy to send daily pictures of your pups if you would like! About: I've had pets of every kind since I was 3 years old. Most of my pets have been dogs, although I've had cats, calves, horses, lambs, pigs and goats at times. I've had to feed, bathe, walk and of course doctor animals all my life. I currently have two English Bulldogs that I love very much. I'm currently retired and so I am flexible with my schedule. I am able to travel within a 10-15 mile radius for care. I have a reliable vehicle. I have a fenced yard and two English Bulldogs. One is female and one is male. I have a dog door that leads outside so that my dogs can go in and out at will.

About: I have been watching neighborhood dogs for our friends and family for years, I just thought it might be fun to make it more official using this app. I’m up for park play dates, walks, and just everyday feeding and watering. We have a golden retriever that loves to be social too :) I’m a teacher and I’m home with my kids for the summer. We have flexibility with our daily schedule during the summer months. I currently work in the evenings home in the mornings. Free weekends and open to dog walking. I don't do in house stays in my personal home. However I can do drop bys. At home setting & house sitting options I let out the dog first thing in the morning then give them breakfast, possibly an enrichment treat to keep them busy. Leave for work. Come back leave them go potty, give them dinner and play with them for a little. For walks pick up the dog ask if the individual dog gets overwhelmed or reactive, tugs etc anything that would be helpful information. Take the dog on a walk let the owner know the length of time their dog will be gone. Same goes for hikes, I will have treats to reward good behavior.

About: Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to walk, play with, feed, bathe, and pet-sit a variety of animals in both their owners’ homes and my own 🐾💛 And honestly, I love every second of it 🥰 I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality, quirks, routines, and favorite ways to be loved 🐶🐱✨ Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and independent, or somewhere in between, I love building trust with them and helping them feel safe and comfortable 💕 Animals have always brought so much joy into my life, and even small interactions with them can completely brighten my day 😊🐾 While I’m currently only available for drop-ins and walks (and free snuggles, where applicable) 🐾🚶♀️, I’ll always do my best to work with your pet’s needs and routine 💛 For transparency, I’m unavailable on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM 📅 I also generally don’t schedule walks or drop-ins before 11:00 AM ☀️, though I may be able to make exceptions depending on the situation. About: I grew up with dogs and now have a cat. I have several years of dog and cat sitting experience, doing both drop-ins and overnight stays. I would love to take care of your pets! I am a medical student with some in-person requirements but ability to mostly study from home, and an overall flexible schedule! I love cute study buddies! I am available to come to your home to care for your pets. I am happy to offer drop-in visits or overnight care. I have a few hours of required school activities some weekdays, but can spend the rest of the time with your babies!
About: I have grown up with pets my whole life and always been the main person to take care of them. I love taking my dogs on walks and hanging out with them! I love all animals and I think they deserve the best care that one could give! I am used to being around dogs/cats of all ages from puppies to pretty old dogs I currently do not have a job due to just coming back from college in West Virginia, so I have a very free and flexible schedule! I have a fenced yard and I have two dogs of my own that would be able to keep your pups company if needed! They are extremely friendly, however I can also keep them separate from my dogs if requested.
About: I have taken care of my senior golden retriever for 4 years since we rescued him. Friends rely on me to take care of their pets, by feeding, walking, and staying at their house. I also pet sat 5 cats at a time when I was twelve. I am currently a student and have time daily to take care of pets. I only have one or two classes each day, and am completely free on the weekends. I always make sure that the pet is comfortable with me and with the environment before I leave. I always make sure they are fed and exercised. My dogs are prone to run away, so I’m extra aware to check gates and doors to prevent this.
