About: My husband and I have had dogs big and small growing up so weâre very familiar with their mannerisms, behavior and unique personalities. Weâve had our own dogs for four years and love them dearly, theyâre our babies! Iâm currently a stay-at-home mom so I am available and pretty flexible for the most part throughout the day. My dogs help me around the house as I get things done. I have a fenced in yard with two of my own dogs to keep yours company! Occasionally I let the dogs inside to hang out and eat, or depending on the weather to keep warm/cool. At bedtime I bring them in to sleep in their dog crate.
âKelsey is exceptional ! The absolute best! She was consistent in her care for my dog and showed up for every scheduled visits on time or even early. When you leave your dog at home, you want someone who communicates well, spends the time and gives the love. Kelsey does all three. Our dog loved her. And last of all, the pictures. You can skip the professional photographer appointment for your Spot or Lucy. Kelsey takes really professional-looking photos of your dog. I've had my dog for 7 years and she landed at least 3 top 10 photos in only 4 days. Pretty awesome person. Good heart and very kind. I highly recommend her !â

About: I did housesitting for several years with my brother's St. Bernard dog as you see on my profile picture. Last year, I housesat for three cats. Recently I did housesat for a dog over spring break. I owned a dog and several cats in the past. About senior care, I owned and took care of an older cat. I'm currently working as a teacher at school which ends on May 23rd then I can do it anytime since my other job as crisis counselor allows me to work at home. I need a good WIFI. I used leash for dogs when taking them on walks. For cats, it depends on owner. Some cats are outdoors or indoors. I make sure they go potty and have play time. I know cats are super picky about their litters so poops must be scooped out. I use bag to pick up dog poop. I try to find out what animals likes to do and spend time with them.
âVery happy with Grace and Lance. They were able to come play with our dog with very little notice and flexible with a willing attitude. Even noticed the water needed filling and took care of that!â

About: Need a sitter who truly understands dogs? Iâve had pets my whole life and currently raise a happy, 2.5 year old pup who is a total social butterfly. Your dog won't just get a attentive sitterâtheyâll get a built-in playmate! I love reinforcing good manners and ensuring every dog feels safe, loved, and thoroughly entertained. I am currently on summer break from school and am home full time. Our days include playtime at home, walks around the neighborhood, and an occasional trip to the dog park. I have an unfenced grassy area outside my front door that we use for play. May dog is also always up for play. I am able to crate dogs if needed too.
About: Iâve had the absolute pleasure looking after numerous dogs and cats, tailoring my approach to each pets unique needs. From high-energy pups to senior friends, Iâve provided attentive care, ensuring their comfort, exercise, and happiness. I currently work and attend school remotely with a flexible schedule to take care and play with your pups or cats. Iâm available both weekdays and weekends. I live in a house and have the schedule to take your dog out on long walks or runs. There are many trails that I know of that I like to go to often. I am an avid runner and hiker who is always looking for an excuse to be outside. Let me know if your pet has any specific needs or behaviors to attend to. I am comfortable with any breed or size of pet.
About: Iâve had a lifelong passion for animals and truly enjoy getting to know each petâs unique personality and needs. I have years of hands-on experience owning, training, and caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels, including seniors and high-energy breeds. From a young age, I began regularly walking, training, and caring for neighborsâ pets after they saw how well-mannered and happy my animals were. Iâm attentive, patient, and highly observant of animal behavior, which helps me create a calm, safe environment and respond to each dog appropriately. Iâm also experienced in caring for cats and am comfortable managing a variety of temperaments and routines for animals of all kinds. Providing reliable, compassionate care and giving pet parents peace of mind is something I truly value, and I love building trust with both pets and their people and creating a genuine relationship! Every morning I take the pups on a walk or run, and on every day but Tuesdays and Thursdays, I do backyard playtime in the afternoon, then every day in the evenings is indoor playtime. And on the weekends, I love to take my dogs on long hikes, to the dog park, or to go swimming! Please note that I am a student, so there will be times when they will need to be alone and unsupervised, usually kenneled, but I make it a point to expend energy before and after an absence like that so they will want to nap whilst I am away. I am very experienced in interpreting dog behavior/body language and handling stressful situations. I value honesty and transparency, and you can be sure to expect pictures and videos! :) I am willing to feed, walk, water, and brush your animals. Whatever they need, I am up for it!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesnât offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Elk Ridge with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days youâd like them to care for your pet.
