About: I had a dog from the time she was a puppy till she passed away. So I am experienced in both puppy care and elderly dog care. I have lots of grooming experience for both dogs and cats. I currently have had my cat for 5 years. I’m currently unemployed so I have a very open schedule at the moment. I am a student in college but my classes are online so they don’t impact my schedule. My cat is fed every morning around 9 am, and I make sure to play with her in the afternoons. I also give her weekly baths, and brushings.

About: I have cared for various litters of different dog breeds, spent countless hours training dogs cool tricks, and much experience loving and caring for pets. I love all animals and have had experience watching all sorts of animals including dogs, cats, birds, fish, you name it! I dedicate my visits to giving each beloved pet the love and care they deserve while their family is away. Caring for pets is something I naturally do on a day-to-day basis. I am currently working toward getting dog training certification and have open availability allowing me time during the day to focus my time and attention toward giving pets the love and attention they deserve. I strive to build my schedule in leisure of caring for your pets as it's not just what I do for a living but is what I love. When caring for pets in your home, I treat both the pet and the home with the same respect and attention I would give my own. I follow each pet's daily routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and any specific instructions. I ensure pets receive plenty of love, attention, and activity while keeping your home clean, safe, and stress-free. I take the time to get to know each pet's personality and needs, ensuring they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for in their familiar surroundings. My goal is for both you and your pets to feel confident, relaxed, and happy throughout the entire experience.

About: Looking for new fur friends/clients! Updated my summer schedule. Feel free to message me any questions you might have. I have one dog (a miniature schnauzer) who is so good with other dogs. We have a fenced .25 acre yard. We love going on walks and to the dog park. I can take two dogs from the same household, or one dog at a time for dog day care and over night. Happy to do drop ins and walks as well. I teach part-time/ 3 days a week during the school year but available all day during the summer (I try hard to keep my calendar updated. We can do crated animals but my dog is not crate trained and is free to roam the house and dogs are welcome on furniture (just not in bedrooms). My kids and I will give your dog so much love, it will be a dog vacay for them! I know how stressful it can be to leave a pet with a stranger. We will make your dog feel at home, well cared for and played with, giving each new furry friend lots of cuddles and pets. 🥰 🐕 I teach part time during the school year but I am available according to the calendar during summer and holidays all day and weekends ALL YEAR. In addition, happy to do walks or drop ins early morning and if your dog can be home alone 7 hours, happy to have them stay with my dog during my work days. (2024-25 school year I only worked 3 days a week). Message with any questions! My dogs will always be a member of the family. I care for them with love, dignity, joy and attention. I’m happy to provide play time, feed and water, let them out for potty, take care of any needs I see when I visit/drop in (accident removals) and as long of walks as you or your dog would like within my availability. Open to special requests for play time, or areas to walk or dog parks to visit.

About: Since 2016, I’ve gained experience caring for animals of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I started pet sitting as a teen for family and friends! When I moved to college I always expressed my love for dogs and was offered a few different month long positions that led me to pet sitting full time! I built a large clientele in Cedar City from 2020-2025. Including dogs, cats, birds, chickens, and horses! Whether your pet loves long walks, extra playtime, snuggles on the couch, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I have experience with lots of different breeds of dogs, administering medications, anxious dogs, and puppies. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful, so communication is a top priority for me. I’ll provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. For the summer time pet care is my full time job, during the school year I work 8-2 and my local elementary school. I am also a full time online graduate student. Most of my free time after taking care of your pets is spent studying. I love doing an in home visit before I watch your animals to make sure I understand the routine. I ask that you leave a detailed note for me to review while you are away to ensure I am providing the correct care for your animals. I prioritize their routine and schedule my plans or routines around them. I am known to leave your house the way I found it. I’ve had owners worried I didn’t make myself comfortable by how clean I left the place!

About: 🐾 Please Note: Due to family allergies, we can only accept hypoallergenic, low-shedding dogs. Thank you for understanding! 🐾 Your dog will be cared for in a loving family-centered home with lots of attention, play, and all-day supervision while you’re away. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and will be part of our daily home life. They’ll enjoy a balance of play, rest, and daily walks (up to 3 miles, always adjusted to your dog’s needs and comfort level). We have a large fenced yard with a doggie door, giving dogs safe freedom to go in and out throughout the day. Inside, dogs are treated like family. They’re welcome to relax on couches, sleep where they feel most comfortable, and receive plenty of affection and interaction. I also have multiple gated areas available if a dog needs space, downtime, or separation for safety and comfort. Our friendly, well-trained goldendoodle, Oreo, enjoys other dogs and helps create a positive, social environment. My children are gentle, respectful, and experienced with dog safety, and they love helping care for visiting dogs. I keep care flexible and personalized—crates are optional, and I closely follow your dog’s normal feeding routine, preferences, and any special instructions you provide. New to Rover? Use this link for $20 off your first booking: https://www.rover.com/sit/virgir16796 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as a stay-at-home mom, so dogs receive consistent attention throughout the day. They are part of our normal home life, with regular potty breaks, playtime, rest, and supervision. I’m home most of the day aside from short errands, so dogs are rarely left alone for long periods. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my priority. Dogs stay in a secure, fully fenced yard when outside and have supervised access through a doggie door during the day. Inside the home, I use gated areas when needed to ensure safe introductions, give dogs personal space, or create a calm environment if a dog needs downtime. I closely monitor all dogs in my care to make sure everyone is comfortable and getting along well. I follow each dog’s routine carefully, including feeding instructions, exercise needs, and any special care directions provided by the owner.

About: I grew up in agriculture and have lifelong experience with animals, especially working dog breeds. I have experience in various situations from medicating to birth assisting and senior care. I have returned to college to get a different degree, meaning I'm home studying often which provides me ample time to stay with pets and take breaks for a good walk or play. About: I've been around dogs my whole life and taking care of them since I was a little girl. I have experience with kinds of dogs ranging from taking care of senior dogs to training puppies, big and small. I currently work from home on my own schedule, so I am free and flexible to take your dog on a walk throughout all hours of the day. I am always cautious when entering and leaving a property to ensure your dog never escapes. I always walk with a leash in safe neighborhoods and sidewalks, which you are able to track. While walking, I always keep a portable dog bowl and fresh water available to ensure your dog never gets dehydrated. For high energy dogs that can handle sunlight, we will do a big walk at a fast pace. If your dog is a squished nose breed, I do my best to keep them out of direct sunlight so they do not overheat. I will walk at whatever pace is most comfortable for your dog and ensure they are well taken care of. I provide photo updates with every walk and you have direct access to my cellphone if you need to communicate.

  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
