About: I've grown up with cats and the occasional dog boarding. As an adult I've only recently started caring for pets personally again. We have a cane corso & rhodesian ridgeback mixed puppy, a shih tzu / pekinese drama queen as well as several indoor cats. We also have goats, ducks, bunnies, and quail outdoors. Indoors we have caged geckos, chameleon, parakeets, chinchilla, axolotl, fish, snails, shrimp, and aquatic frogs. I work full time so boarding on weekends is easier for me, but weeknights can work depending on the week. I can do early morning or evening walks. I have a fenced yard, we also have a gated living room that we sit in with the dogs when we are all inside together.

About: Since 2016, I’ve gained experience caring for animals of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I started pet sitting as a teen for family and friends! When I moved to college I always expressed my love for dogs and was offered a few different month long positions that led me to pet sitting full time! I built a large clientele in Cedar City from 2020-2025. Including dogs, cats, birds, chickens, and horses! Whether your pet loves long walks, extra playtime, snuggles on the couch, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I have experience with lots of different breeds of dogs, administering medications, anxious dogs, and puppies. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful, so communication is a top priority for me. I’ll provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. For the summer time pet care is my full time job, during the school year I work 8-2 and my local elementary school. I am also a full time online graduate student. Most of my free time after taking care of your pets is spent studying. I love doing an in home visit before I watch your animals to make sure I understand the routine. I ask that you leave a detailed note for me to review while you are away to ensure I am providing the correct care for your animals. I prioritize their routine and schedule my plans or routines around them. I am known to leave your house the way I found it. I’ve had owners worried I didn’t make myself comfortable by how clean I left the place!
“Jada was AMAZING! We have both cats and dogs and she was great with all our animals! She was quick to respond to messages, very caring with our pets and sent us the cutest pictures! She was a huge help and we will definitely be utilizing Jada again in the future!”

I’m comfortable with walking, feeding, bathing, and giving pets the attention they need to feel safe and happy. As a retired military veteran and stay-at-home dad, I bring responsibility, structure, and patience to every pet I care for. Your pets will be treated like part of my family. I recently retired from the military and am currently a stay-at-home dad while I attend school online. This gives me plenty of flexibility and time to care for pets throughout the day. I’m available most weekdays and weekends, and I make sure every pet gets lots of attention, playtime, and care. provide a calm, safe environment with a fenced yard and two friendly dogs who enjoy having company. I’m responsible, dependable, and always make sure pets feel comfortable and loved. I can crate your dog if needed and follow any routines or instructions you prefer to keep your pet safe and happy.

About: I provide dependable, attentive care and treat every pet like they’re part of the family. I understand that every dog has different personalities, routines, and comfort levels, so I take time to make them feel safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away. I have experience in senior care, administering medicines, and love taking walks . I work from home so I’ll have plenty of time to have cuddles , hang outs and outside play time . I am very structured so like to maintain a same routine each day starting with a nice walk around the park. I have a fenced yard and two small schnoodles of my own who love other dogs and humans. I have many dogs beds, toys, and a designated space if they sleep in a kennel.
“Sarah was great. She communicated frequently while we were away, she took my puppy to his daycare on the set days, my judgey cat became her biggest fan, and overall the animals seemed really happy. She also left my place in great condition and was even willing to haul some mistimed deliveries into my garage. Thanks Sarah!”

“Alyssa did a fantastic job with our dog/housesitting. The house looked great, the plants were alive, and the dogs looked happy in every photo she sent. Would definitely recommend Alyssa!”

About: I had a dog from the time she was a puppy till she passed away. So I am experienced in both puppy care and elderly dog care. I have lots of grooming experience for both dogs and cats. I currently have had my cat for 5 years. I’m currently unemployed so I have a very open schedule at the moment. I am a student in college but my classes are online so they don’t impact my schedule. My cat is fed every morning around 9 am, and I make sure to play with her in the afternoons. I also give her weekly baths, and brushings.
About: I have two dogs and have had four cats over the course of thirteen years, I love them all dearly. I've also petsat for my neighbors while they were on vacation. I do all my schooling online so Im extremely flexible. I'm also free the majority if not all of the time! Just let me know when you need your pet taken care of and I'll be there. I'll make sure your pets are taken care of and fed, and spend time with them so they don't feel lonely. If your pet needs space I'm also happy to give them that. My dog is very friendly but doesn't get along with humans at first, so I have experience with scared animals

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Lehi
Whitney is fantastic!!! This is her second time staying with our 3 dogs and we had no worries at any point during our trip. We knew our girls would be well taken care of and happy upon our return. We have dogs with different needs and Whitney is able to take care of them each in their own way; she sends pictures and updates, so we know everyone is happy!! It is especially nice to have found a trustworthy, reliable and kind sitter!! We all love Whitney!!

Was great to work with. Came and met the dogs before I left for my trip. She took great care of my dogs! I haven’t left them with anyone other than family. It was nice to be able to enjoy my vacation knowing she was there. She kept me updated and sent pictures. I’ve never used Rover before and I’ll definitely use them again and definitely will use Sarah again. She was the best!

Callie was amazing! We did a virtual meeting prior to booking and Callie was super open and friendly. On the first day she’s arrived on time and went over everything with us very kindly and asked all the questions. She stayed with Tomas for 4 days and she constantly sent us pictures, she pampered him so much, he was very happy and comfortable with her. I would just describe this experience with Callie as the best ever! She took great care of Tomas but also of our home. Definitely recommend and would book again

FAQs for House Sitting - Lehi
Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Lehi on Rover is $33.3 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 2,687 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Lehi. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Lehi walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Lehi maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Lehi choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lehi. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
