“Hao and his family were amazing. Very knowledgeable about dog behavior and handle new dogs in a professional and safe manner that you don’t often see. I was very impressed and would definitely leave Benji here again!!”

“Our first time using this service. Jessica was very nice and took care of Stella very well. She welcomed Stella into her home and made her feel very welcome. Thank you.”

“Amazing. Awesome. Wonderful. For Huxlee only being 4 months old, I was not only thrilled that Angelique would take him, but the entire experience with her from beginning to end was more than I could of asked for. I will definitely be using Angelique for future daycare & overnight longer stays. I can’t say enough good things about this awesome dog loving lady ?”

“Best dog sitter ever!!!!! Luna gets so excited to spend time with her friends 💛 She gets to go on walks, get all that energy out so when she gets home she is ready to rest 😄 She gets so much love and care., I am so very grateful she gets to be with such a wonderful family while I’m away.”

“Sadie had a wonderful day with Adelaine and her pups. She came home happy, tired, and totally content. 🐾💛 I really appreciated the thoughtful updates throughout the day and Adelaine’s kind, caring nature.”

“I was so nervous to leave my puppy for the first time. I was hesitant due to her hyper puppy syndrome, and I didn't know how she would do with other dogs. I felt calm after meeting Jennie, she was kind and reassuring. The home was extremely clean which is important to me. I was very pleased with the service, and Layla is wiped out, so I know that she got the attention she needs! Would definitely recommend this family to care for your Pup.”

“Lindsey is AWESOME! She got us in on short notice after someone else cancelled, and was so sweet to our shy Reyka. Very communicative and easy to work with. Can’t wait for the next play date!”

About: Care is provided by me and my husband, Dustin. We both grew up with pets and have had our own dog, Loki, for almost 6 years. We have taken care of many other dogs in our home and Loki loves to play and make new friends. A dog who would be a good fit for our home would be well trained, well groomed, friendly, and good with kids. We have a young child so dogs in our home MUST be safe around children. One of us is typically home at nearly all times during the week. We also have a doggy door for dogs to be able to go out to the bathroom when we are not home. Therefore, dogs who are house trained will likely not be kenneled. However, please do not book with us if your dog is not 100% potty trained AND either house trained or crate trained. Daycare: Daycare is billed at a daily rate on Rover. Stays of 3 hours or less may qualify for a reduced rate upon request if approved prior to booking. Please contact me before submitting a booking so I can adjust pricing if applicable. One of us is home nearly at all times. We have a doggy door so dogs are free to roam inside and outside in our fenced yard. We often take Loki to a large dog park near our house where he can run and play with other dogs or walk him around the neighborhood. We make sure he gets exercise daily or almost daily. We have a large, fenced yard with space to run around and play and a large doggy door that can fit small-large dogs. We have a large crate that can be used as well.
About: 🐾 Please Note: Due to family allergies, we can only accept hypoallergenic, low-shedding dogs. Thank you for understanding! 🐾 Your dog will be cared for in a loving family-centered home with lots of attention, play, and all-day supervision while you’re away. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and will be part of our daily home life. They’ll enjoy a balance of play, rest, and daily walks (up to 3 miles, always adjusted to your dog’s needs and comfort level). We have a large fenced yard with a doggie door, giving dogs safe freedom to go in and out throughout the day. Inside, dogs are treated like family. They’re welcome to relax on couches, sleep where they feel most comfortable, and receive plenty of affection and interaction. I also have multiple gated areas available if a dog needs space, downtime, or separation for safety and comfort. Our friendly, well-trained goldendoodle, Oreo, enjoys other dogs and helps create a positive, social environment. My children are gentle, respectful, and experienced with dog safety, and they love helping care for visiting dogs. I keep care flexible and personalized—crates are optional, and I closely follow your dog’s normal feeding routine, preferences, and any special instructions you provide. New to Rover? Use this link for $20 off your first booking: https://www.rover.com/sit/virgir16796 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as a stay-at-home mom, so dogs receive consistent attention throughout the day. They are part of our normal home life, with regular potty breaks, playtime, rest, and supervision. I’m home most of the day aside from short errands, so dogs are rarely left alone for long periods. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my priority. Dogs stay in a secure, fully fenced yard when outside and have supervised access through a doggie door during the day. Inside the home, I use gated areas when needed to ensure safe introductions, give dogs personal space, or create a calm environment if a dog needs downtime. I closely monitor all dogs in my care to make sure everyone is comfortable and getting along well. I follow each dog’s routine carefully, including feeding instructions, exercise needs, and any special care directions provided by the owner.
“Rainy and Sproket were fantastic with Gus. They played hard all day, and had every toy he could dream of. Rainy sent updates through out the day (huge for a first time dog mom) and was even sad to leave when i picked him up. I can not say enough good about this dynamic duo.”

About: My first rescue dog was when I was in 9th grade, and my second rescue dog was in 2016. Raising and taking care of dogs is something I love. Rescue dogs can be difficult, so I have experience with timid or protective and anxious dogs. We went to training classes at PetSmart as well. My neighbor also relied on me to walk and feed her elderly dog every day. We no longer have our dog and miss her very much, I’d be honored to be entrusted to take care of your loved pet! I am a stay at home mom to two little girls. We like to take walks and would love to have dogs join us. We miss our sweet dog very much and would love the opportunity to play with one again! We have a fenced in yard and let our dog take her time sniffing and using the bathroom. She is always supervised. We have a designated eating area for her. She loves her kennel that we keep the door open to. It helps her to feel safe to relax in. We also have a dog park around the corner from us where she loves to socialize. She loves to snuggle with us so we make sure she is bathed often.
“Leilani was amazing! We booked her during our visit to Orem and appreciate that even on a short notice she was able to take Princess in. I received photos of her throughout the day and as to the care, I can tell Princess had a blast. Princess came back very happy and with so much energy! I would 100% recommend her whether you are visiting and need of someone to watch your fur baby or if you live near the Provo / Orem area.”

Jessica was great! She was kind and quickly connected with our micro mini Goldendoodle. At pick-up our Dandy wasn’t sure he wanted to leave. After we got into our car to leave he was looking longingly at the house. He really liked the other small doggies who lived there. We’ll definitely use Jessica again!

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
