My 1st word was our dog’s name.
I’m the go to dog sitter for all of my friends and family because of my kind and consistent care for animals. My philosophy is that all animals have unique personalities and boundaries that can be accommodated with some trust building, patience, and creativity. I have worked with puppies to rainbow bridge travelers. My work with puppies includes vaccinations, potty training, bedding changes, and basic obedience training. For senior dogs I have administered fluids, preformed basic physical therapy, and assisted in bathroom breaks. I have experience in training (I trained my own service animal). My training style is based in building a trusting partnership to help the animal feel confident and safe.

Emily has been very attentive and dependable with our dog, and we appreciate the care she gives while we’re away. She also takes her on walks, which our dog loves. When we return home, our dog is calm and settled, which is always a good sign that she’s been well cared for. Emily also lives very close to us, which makes scheduling especially convenient. We appreciate having someone nearby we can trust to look after our dog.

We needed a last minute sitter for our puppy and decided to give Rover a try. Emily was a lifesaver! She handled our energetic 9-month-old, 65-lb puppy like a pro — keeping him not only busy, but also mentally stimulated, and happily tired by bedtime. We might have been a little over prescriptive in our schedule and notes for her (it was our first time using a dog sitter), but she didn't ever seem bothered by it. On top of caring for our dog like he was her own, she shared thoughtful feedback and training tips we as owners can use to keep his routine balanced — letting him be a puppy, just without the chaos. Highly recommend booking Emily, and we will be using her for future sittings.
Emily is amazing with dogs! She’s great at helping animals feel welcomed, because of how much she llves them. Her experience in dog training also helps keep them safe. I’ve been able to witness her ability to care for animals over the past 5 years and trust her with dogs more than anyone I know. Working with Emily would be the best decision for you and your dog! I appreciate her care and understanding of my pet. She truly loves animals (all types) and spends time learning about your pet and their likes and dislikes. Emily’s care is just like your care—all in and complete and full of love. She enjoys being outside herself and that is reflected in what she does with them. Enrichment and play and healthy excercise.
