I am retired so I will have plenty of time to devote to your pet’s wants and needs whether it is cuddling and sedate or active playtime. Having some of their personal items accessible while under my care such as toys, feeding bowls, beds, blankets, etc. will help make their care with me as close to the daily routine you give them as possible.

A typical day
During drop in visits I can take feed, play with, walk, brush, comfort as requested by you. While boarding your dog becomes a welcome guest that is protected and loved while spending time with me in my home, yard and on my deck.

Pet care experience
I will love and care for your pets as if they were my own! I have years of experience with young and older dogs. I have cared for diabetic animals, and animals recovering from surgery, and dogs requiring wound care. Dogs who are boarded with me will be indoors with me unless on a walk or going potty, they become one of the family! If boarding with me in my home, dogs will be taken on at least one walk a day, and can relax in the sun on my deck with me if they choose. I am home all day and can provide round the clock care. If you have any questions please feel free to message me. I look forward to caring for your fur babies while you're out of town!

Shirley always does a great job - she's the only person outside the family that my cat will come out for. She's patient with him, and he likes her. She's also takes care of his medications, which is critical for us.
Shirley was amazing! I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience using Rover having Shirley watch our cat. She gave me updates every visit and tons of photos which I really really appreciated. She was great at communicating. I felt very at peace knowing she was checking on him and cared for him. I would definitely love to have Shirley come back in the future when we go out of town. Cannot recommend her enough!! Thanks for everything, Shirley!
Shirley kept us informed daily with pictures and comments about out kitty. You can tell she cared about our pet with the questions asked, and with the time she spent trying to play with our cat. Even when we weren't responsive she kept a very professional and loving care of our cat.
My cats LOVE Shirley, she does a great job taking care of them when i’m gone. She’s the best!!
