About: While I’m new on rover, I’ve been providing loving and reliable pet and house sitting services in Los Angeles for over 10 years. What started as helping out close friends and neighbors has grown into a true passion for caring for animals of all kinds. I only have a cat on my own but love dogs just as much! I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide range of dog breeds; from playful Frenchies and fluffy Pomeranians to loyal Labs and energetic Pit mixes. Whether it’s a senior dog needing daily medication, a pup with special routines, or a mischievous new puppy learning the ropes, I make sure to take the best care of them! Here, I have also been able to care for all kind of different cats so far. I understand how important it is to feel at ease when leaving your pet in someone else’s hands. My goal is always to keep your pets happy, healthy, and comfortable, and treat them as if they were my own. I’m based in Downtown Los Angeles, and I absolutely love this neighborhood, there’s no shortage of great walks, cozy spots, and pet-friendly energy. I’m always happy to send regular photo updates, so you can stay connected and worry-free while you’re away. I work full time but am flexible on hours away from home. It’s mostly remote work then i help out on site 5-6 hours about 3 days a week. Since I live in the city we don’t have a yard but I am about a block from a park with a dog run as well as close to grand park. I love walking downtown. We also have a spare room in case the pet needs its own space. We’re loaded up on toys and treats.

“Could not be happier we found Carley! She is so sweet and calm. My two pups took to her immediately and she seems very intuitive with animals needs. My dogs BOTH came back from their walk with her happier than before they left. She is our new GO TO!!! She takes pet care seriously, it’s not her part time side gig— and I feel SUPER SAFE trusting her with my high maintenance pups :) The best”

About: As a previous doggy day care attendant with overnight boarding facilities, I'm used to working with larger groups of dogs, of all different sizes with various needs. My experience ranges from elderly dogs that may need more potty breaks than usual and younger pups that may need extra walking to get their energy out. Naturally, I love dogs and all of their unique personalities they come with, and as long as I know what their standard care and behavior is, I can easily adapt. I also love dog walking in general, so if you're searching for a sitter that can help your pet get outside more often, I may be the ideal sitter for you! Pet care is 24/7 - I watch all pets at all times to ensure consistent potty breaks, safety, and frequent walking, and usually wake early as most dogs need early potty time. I care for the pet depending on the pet parent's requirements and needs. Ex: some pet parents wish for their fur babies to stay inside in my care, while others request frequent walking. It is up to you! What you say goes.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have a dog of my own, so I understand just how much they mean to us. Since I was 14, friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to care for their pets with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I treat every pet like family and always aim to make them feel safe, happy, and at home. I’m currently a freelance artist and work in the service industry part time. At the moment my availability is wide open and flexible to give whatever your pets need! I care for pets in their home by following their usual routine—feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. I treat each pet with love and patience, making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I also keep your home clean and secure, and I’ll send regular updates so you always know how things are going.

“Jonas is incredibly reliable and took excellent care of my corgi while I was away. He kept me updated, and I highly recommend Jonas for anyone looking for a pet sitter they can trust!”

“Aaron is fantastic! He's quick to respond and is truly wonderful with dogs and humans alike. My pup saw Aaron out one day and went crazy. Even the concierge desk where Aaron goes to pick up my apartment key said that he was the nicest guy.”

About: I worked at a vet in high school prior to attending UCLA. I administered medications, did post op care, gave baths, you name it. I also grew up on a farm, so I have tons of experience with pets and animals. I have a true passion for animals. I’m currently free most time during the day or business hours. I’d be willing to stay over night. I’m also willing to stay multiple days or weeks. I tend to ensure all doors and exterior gates stay locked at all times. We take walks/runs 3 times per day. Feeding is done on a specific regimen catered to their current needs. I have a strong passion for overall health, safety, and well-being. I try to maintain their natural circadian rhythm as well.

“This was my first time using a service to walk my dog. I was nervous because my dog can be a lot to handle. However, Moriah put my nerves at ease. She was great. She communicated well, sent updates, arrived on time, and sent pictures of my dog during the walk. Bonnie was eager to go on walks with her every day. I highly recommend her for walking your dog.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for 8 years, and what sets me apart is that I have my own Siberian Husky, whom I’ve raised and trained since he was a puppy. Although he currently lives abroad, my love and dedication to dogs remains strong. To better understand and support his needs, I completed training in dog handling and basic canine psychology. I’m confident working with active breeds and have experience with behavioral training and daily care routines. I work part-time with a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time and energy to care for your pets. I’m available on weekdays from early morning and on weekends starting at 10am. Caring for animals fits naturally into my routine, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them. I genuinely love animals, and they’ve always loved me back — even the most aggressive dogs eventually trusted and listened to me. I believe I have a natural connection with them, something deep and intuitive. I also have training in dog handling and basic canine psychology, which helps me read their needs and provide a calm, safe environment where they feel secure and understood.

About: I have been a lifelong pet lover, having cared for dogs since I was a kid. Currently, I am the proud owner of a 3lbs Yorkie, so I understand the unique needs of small breeds. My experience includes raising puppies and tending to dogs of all ages. I'm well-versed in handling a variety of circumstances, including special dietary requirements and other extraordinary situations. Rest assured, your fur baby is in experienced and loving hands. I am extremely flexible and accommodating when it comes to your pet's schedule. I am available for boarding on both weekdays and weekends, and I can also provide drop-in visits and dog walking during weekends. The safety and well-being of your pet are of utmost importance to me. I live in a condo complex with a pet park inside the building, ensuring a safe and secure environment for your pet to play and socialize. I am diligent about maintaining a clean and pet-friendly space. You can trust that I will provide the same level of care and love to your pet as I do to my own Yorkie.

“Absolutely amazing experience! Aleksandr took such great care of my dogs — they looked happy, I got some adorable photos during their walk. Super reliable, friendly, and clearly loves animals. I’ll definitely be booking again. Highly recommend!”

About: I understand that your parts are family members. I know what it feels like to have someone you don’t know to come and take care of them. You can rest assured that your pets will be taken care of and loved while you are away. I have nothing but time to take care of your pets! I am a full time student, so I welcome the opportunity to get out of the house and walk your dog or play with your cat! In my home, pets are treated like family. We talk to them, play with them, tell them we love them, feed them what we believe is the highest quality food, and ensure they’re overall healthy and happy.

About: I grew up with a family Shih Tzu who was with us for 13 years. After moving out on my own, I adopted a Chihuahua mix named Cocoa, who stayed by my side for nearly 8 wonderful years. He recently passed away from cancer, and I still miss him deeply every day. Though I don’t plan to adopt another dog of my own, my love for animals hasn’t gone anywhere. Caring for dogs has been a meaningful part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I’d love the chance to provide that same love, patience, and attention to your dog — just like I did for Cocoa. I'm currently a student with a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate a variety of booking times. With advance notice, I'm happy to adjust my routine to fit your needs — including early morning drop-offs or late-night pick-ups. My top priority is to ensure pets feel safe, calm, and comfortable while in my care. I understand that dogs, especially sensitive ones, can react to stress quickly — sometimes even showing physical symptoms when they're away from home or separated from their owners. That's why I do my best to follow their familiar routines, minimize unfamiliar stimuli, and create a peaceful environment. Once they begin to feel secure, that's when we can truly relax and have fun together.

“Elizabeth is great and has shown real concern for my dog. Some walkers are passive and not too communicative but Elizabeth goes above and beyond! Looking forward to using her in the future.”
