About: Hello! Growing up my family always had dogs and my favorite thing to do is brush them. I’ve been dog sitting consistently since high school. I have experience with large reactive dogs, so whether you have an angel or a problem child Ive got plenty of love and patience for them:) I have one kitty at home and no dogs. I tried walking the cat but she’s determined to stay indoors so here I am! I’m happily self employed! That means my schedule can be whatever it needs to be. No time is off limits. But I do have a special place in my heart for morning walks because they start my day on the right foot. I will follow your instructions to a T! Nobody knows your pet better than you do, so to keep them happy and safe I will defer to your instructions.

I’m an MBA student at Cornell and have classes about three times a week from Monday to Thursday from 9am to 1pm. My boyfriend is home during the day until I return in the afternoon, so there’s always someone available to care for and walk the pups. We’re both huge dog lovers and spend most weekends at home since I usually have assignments to work on — which means plenty of time for cuddles, walks, and playtime with your furry family member. Your pup’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. I have a French bulldog with sensitive skin and allergies, so I’m extremely careful about hygiene, food, and playtime routines. I also have a bit of OCD when it comes to cleaning — my home is spotless, sanitized daily, and always pet-safe. I am a full time student at Cornell. I have a back yard for puppy play time. I take boarding, sitting, and walking as long as the schedule fits. One of our cats needed daily medication, and Rachel worked closely with us to find the best delivery method. She even picked up the medication from our vet when it ran out. Aleta is so great with my timid and elderly kitty. She has very patiently gotten Mona to come out and be a bit more social over time. Also, she thinks of everything from treats to drawing the blinds during heat waves to keep my cat cool. When my return date changed abruptly, she was accommodating and supportive. A better pet sitter is not to be found!
Maria was amazing!! She was so kind and patient with my sweet (albeit difficult) cat! My cat has a bunch of health issues, and Maria did a wonderful job navigating them, including giving her meds! She kept in contact with me, sending pictures and updates that really helped put my mind at ease while I was travelling, knowing that my cat was in good hands! She was quick to respond to both my booking request and my questions, and was willing to set up a meet-and-greet with me and my cat, so that I knew she was in good hands. This is the most relaxing vacation I’ve had in years, knowing that my high-needs cat was in good hands. I will never book anybody else!!! She was so kind and patient, and my cat really liked her too! Maria did a wonderful job, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for somebody trustworthy to check in on their pet.

Due to Alex's extensive background in animal care, I felt very comfortable leaving my cat in Alex's care for drop in visits during a 9 day trip! Alex was meticulous with following the rules of Rover and had careful business practices, such as staying on platform for all communication and waiting to accept the booking until after our meet and greet went well. Alex was also meticulous with Mocha's care. I have some very complicated instructions for the care of this finicky senior kitty (special food prep, pills, tooth brushing, recording amount of food consumed) and Alex did a great job following them! As an added bonus, Alex even cleaned the floor around Mocha's food bowl without my asking! Would hire this sitter again. Thank you Alex!

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
