I have chosen to be a pet care provider as a way to earn money because I really enjoy being around animals. I grew up with two dogs and have been employed in Ithaca since 2011 in taking care of several families' cats and dogs, including one family for over 6 years. My responsibilities have included feeding and playing with pets, and walking dogs on a regular basis as well as when owners are on vacation. I have also stayed overnight at clients' homes. I have a reliable car, I answer texts promptly, and I will always be respectful of your home. My schedule is flexible so I try to accommodate your schedule. I can provide references upon request. I look forward to meeting you and your dogs.

We booked John last minute to help with our pup while on vacation. John was great, he arranged to meet us and Leo the same day and worked out his schedule to help us out. Leo was well taken care of and happy to see John every afternoon for his walk while we took in the sights. John sent detailed messages and video/pictures of their time together. Would happily hire John again if we are back in the area. He was a star.

John was wonderful to work with. Very happy pets and he went above and beyond and handled unexpected house sitting issues promptly and efficiently.
John was absolutely wonderful! We were in a real bind when our sitter backed out at the last minute, and he stepped in when we really, really needed someone to care for Alex. He came over that same day, took Alex for a great walk, sent us pictures and updates, and made us feel completely comfortable knowing Alex was in good hands. He even brought Alex back to us afterward, which was incredibly helpful. John was reliable, kind, communicative, and truly saved the day for our family. We are so grateful and would absolutely recommend him!

I am self employed with pet care as my primary business. I offer customized care, flexible hours including weekends and holidays. I can meet your needs on a one time or a regular recurring basis.
