About: Hello! Growing up my family always had dogs and my favorite thing to do is brush them. I’ve been dog sitting consistently since high school. I have experience with large reactive dogs, so whether you have an angel or a problem child Ive got plenty of love and patience for them:) I have one kitty at home and no dogs. About: Animals have been central to my life from an early age, and few things bring me more peace and joy than caring for the beloved pets of others—domestic and exotic alike. For over a decade I’ve provided quality care for cats and dogs of all sizes and ages in both my home and those of my clients’. Ten years ago, I helped launch the STAY WILD Rehabilitation Center in Trumansburg, NY, where I gained extensive hands-on experience rescuing and rehabilitating sick or injured domestic and farm animals—including dogs, cats, horses, and sheep—as well as local wildlife. About: I have cared for pets for many years. I have experience working in an animal shelter with dogs and cats, and have additional experience pet-sitting and caring for a variety of animals with a variety of needs- from dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, and even snakes! About: I've taken care of pets since I was a child-- growing up with a large breed and small dog and two cats-- I've always loved animals. I have a large breed dog named Chewbacca and an adult indoor cat named Chase. Both are friendly with other animals, easy going, and playful. I work from home most days so I'm very available! She is 100% dedicated to taking care Baxter during the day while we are at work. Takes him out to potty, playtime outside and/or inside, even a little bit of training and back out for another potty break before leaving him in his crate. Her report cards and pictures are so detailed about their time together and any helpful tips or information about Baxter. You can tell she has a true love for our furry pup! About: I'm a Cornell Animal Science graduate. I've grown up with dogs and cats my whole life, and trained 2 of those dogs by myself. I interned at a rescue horse ranch between high school and college, where I helped care for 7 horses and 9 dogs. My academic experience includes canine and feline behavioral and health courses, and research experience caring for and socializing dogs in research studies. Specific services: Housesitting: I have my own car, and can provide morning/evening care, as well as a 1-2hr lunch visit, depending on pet's routine and needs. I have no weekend commitments. Dog-walking: I am available for walks before 10a, between 12 and 2p, and after 6p. I have a flexible work schedule, so exact timing of visits can be adjusted (ie. midday walk at 11a or 3p, instead of 12-2 window). Drop-in visits: I am available for either once or twice daily feeding/walking visits, depending on distance from Ithaca, and pet's routine and needs. Timing same as dog-walking.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and dogsitted for family and friends as well. I am an easy going, attentive and caring person, who will never leave the dogs side! They are in good company with me I’m home the entire day, and wherever I go, the dog goes with me! To the park, walk to the supermarket, to the beach, coffee dates, or simply just relaxing at home. They will always be in good company and constantly attended to! I have a big house very suitable for any size dog, including German Shepards! (I used to have one) I also have a large beautiful garden/ courtyard in which they can safely play with no traffic or problems, and a park right next door! This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
