About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats through pet ownership, fostering, and volunteering at an animal shelter. I personally have T1D diabetes so if your pet has it too, I am not afraid to deal with it!! About: As a first-year veterinary student at Cornell University, I've spent years volunteering in animal care settings, including veterinary hospitals, doggy daycares, training facilities, and animal shelters. Rachel was phenomenal. She cared for our dog and two cats for a full week, and we couldn’t have asked for anyone more personable, reliable, or genuinely kind. All three pets absolutely loved her. She didn’t just stop in — she engaged with them, played with them, and made sure each one felt comfortable and cared for. One of our cats needed daily medication, and Rachel worked closely with us to find the best delivery method. She even picked up the medication from our vet when it ran out. Beyond pet care, she fed our outdoor birds and watered our plants without us asking — such a thoughtful touch. Her schedule was perfect: a full hour (or more) every morning, another hour (or more) in the evening, plus an extra midday stop for a quick dog potty break. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
