“Arya was excellent with Cali. He obviously knows and loves dogs. She was well-cared for and we received regular videos of their fun. As an added bonus, he worked with her on her leash behavior. Will definitely rebook again. Highly recommend”

“Caterina proved to be the perfect sitter for my senior dog Max. She sent updates and it was evident that she truly cares about what she does. Max came home happy and energetic—not always the case with some boarding kennels. I cannot recommend her more highly, and Max and I look forward to his staying with her again.”

About: Hi I have experienced with all size dog and breed through my veterinary assistance experience. I also have a Black Lab her name is Lisa, and she is turning four years old. I am a full time student at Cornell. I have a back yard for puppy play time. I take boarding, sitting, and walking as long as the schedule fits. Also I can do same day appointment to support our pet parents. I have fenced yard. Extra leashes and harness. We are in a dog friendly neighborhood. My dog is 80lb so I can handle dog who pull and large size.
“This was the best Rover experience for me! Susan made sure my dog is safe and feels comfortable. My dog easily gets nervous with strangers, but she got used to the new environment faster than normal. I felt like Susan is really good with handling dogs too because she has great amount of experience with dogs. I really appreciate her updates, photos, and all the accommodations she has made for us. Thank you!!😊”

“Kyle is a wonderful care giver! He is a true dog Dad, he loves dogs and took excellent care of mine. He’s professional, courteous and kind, he took daily pictures of my dog and sent them to me, along with updates on how they were doing together. My dog came home to me in great spirits and perfect health, I’d recommend Kyle to everyone!”

Rocky enjoys their fenced in yard and their beagle. I will certainly book with them again if I need to go away. Thank you, Kathy and Tim !! Sheila Nelson”

About: For any and all services I provide I will be seeking guidance from the pet owner for preferred handling as people treat their pets differently (allowed on furniture, leash vs off leash, feeding times, etc.) Most of my pet sitting experience has been at their home and i have cared for up to four dogs and two cats (plus chickens and fish). I have also babysat for a cat and a few different dogs at my place. I enjoy an active lifestyle and live near state lands so lots of hiking is usually on the agenda (for dogs anyway). I recently put down my aging cat and have found life is lonely without him, but I am not ready to replace him just yet. Rover seems like a great way to get my fix and earn some extra money along the way. I work full time Monday through Friday and have hour long lunch breaks if midday breaks are needed for your pets. Weekends are for serious play! I live on a low traffic road near a state forest. Access to trails from my back door and a large (unfenced) yard to roam. When staying in someone’s home I treat it like my own with care.

About: I’ve cared for dogs for 10 yrs and have owned a cattle dog mix for 6! I’ve fostered and pet sat dogs, cats, and kittens throughout that time. I have experience giving medication, basic training, and am detail oriented when it comes to any special instructions. My priority is following your lead when it comes to what's best for your pet's safety, nurturance, and play! Right now, my care schedule is flexible! I'm available for boarding in my home or pet sitting in yours. I work part-time, two days a week as a direct service provider from my home and 1-2 events per week at Cornell. I'm intentionally staying open so I can spend time at home with my dog and am never away for long! I love taking long walks around my quiet, rural neighborhood or spending time exploring the area. I live in a quiet, rural cottage with a screened in porch, backyard and tie out. My cattle dog mix is super playful and loves other dogs! Happy to also provide care in your home, especially for cats and other animals.
“Ashley was absolutely amazing! She and her husband, Brian, took such good care of our girl. She got so much attention and was always so happy. We got daily elaborated updates with plenty of pictures. They listened to all our concerns and treated her like one of their dogs. They were so considerate and made the separation so much easier for us. We had a medical emergency and had to delay our return and without skipping a bit they agreed to take care for a few more days and even went above and beyond and got her the food that she needs. We returned to find her so happy and healthy and we will definitely leave her with them again!”

“Friendly, open, took the time to show me her house so I felt comfortable leaving my special girl there overnight. Excellent communication and picture updates. I felt very much at ease knowing my pup was being cared for. I will absolutely use Chantal again!”

My dog had an amazing experience with Kyle for 8 nights! They took wonderful care of my dog and gave him the cutest nickname They checked in regularly with photos and messages, so I always knew he was happy and comfortable. He came home perfectly healthy, relaxed, and clearly had a blast. I’d trust them with my dog again in a heartbeat, highly recommend.

Olenka has always taken great care of our pets, for years now. This time, though, she went so far above and beyond - our old senior dog was having health issues in the middle of the night; we were camping and out of cell range. She brought him to the emergency vet and stayed up all night with him. We're so grateful for this kind of dedication and care!! Olenka is a gem, we highly recommend her.
Aleta was such a delight - warm and loving - my Bailey took to her right away. I totally trust Bailey with her. Henry her dog was such a wonderful playmate - it was sad to separate them! I have used Rovers all across the country with great success - and Aleta really shines!!

I am really happy we found Rachel on Rover. She's amazing, I can tell she really cared and went above and beyond to make sure our dog was doing well. We got updates with messages and pictures about their adventures and I'm very thankful! I highly recommend her. Would definitely reach out again next time we need to!

Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
