“Daniel is fantastic! Our dogs had an amazing time with him. He kept us up to date and sent us photos every day! He was able to get our dog’s trust from day one and make them feel okay while we were away. Our flight was delayed by about 10 hours and he stayed with our dogs extra time to make sure they were able to eat dinner and be taken out one more time before we got home. I will definitely reach out to him again in the future.”
“Claudia is a wonderfully attentive and thoughtful sitter for our senior dog Remi. She stayed over our house and sent us many updates and photos. Remi loves her and we greatly appreciate her care!”

“For our second time with Emily we went away on a trip, and she and Dan cared for our dog and cat duo while we were gone. I received reports every time they hung out with my animals including pictures and funny stories, plus they went the extra mile and brought in our obnoxious number of packages while we were gone. They played with our pets and sat with them multiple times a day. It was wonderful, I won't use anyone else. We felt so relaxed with our pets so well taken care of.”

“Caroline did an amazing job taking care of our dogs Ally and Penny and our house while we were gone for 4 days. Everything was better than we left it! Thank you so much Caroline!!!”

“Alexandra was wonderful with my dogs! She was especially patient with my younger dog’s playfulness and mindful of my older dogs needs. I’d recommend her to anyone and look forward to having her watch them again!”

“Our dogs (even our timid rescue) adored Sarah and she was super communicative throughout her stay. She took them on an hour long walk each day and stayed with them in the house for extended timeframes throughout the day so that they had access to the yard and plenty of belly rubs. Highly recommend working with Sarah!”

About: I grew up with cats but have gotten lots of puppy-love taking care of the pups of neighbors, family and friends! I am patient and take the time to meet dogs where they're at, whether that's running around the lawn or lazy belly rubs on the floor. I believe in respecting pups and kitties alike, and am always careful to watch body language and learn their boundaries so that we both have the best experience possible. I have chronic pain that can flare up without warning; I am receiving treatment that has made those flare-ups much rarer, so there should be no issues when it comes to caring for your furry friend, but if there ever is a hiccup I will communicate promptly and clearly. When taking care of any pet I like to write down any and all notes on the pets' care routine and preferred habits in the home so I can make sure they are comfortable as possible while their normal humans are out and about.
“We were super impressed with the professionalism of Daniela. She walked and ran with our dog, provided fun text updates, and it's clear she loves animals. We highly, highly recommend Daniela!”

“Rachel was fabulous to work with. Responsive, diligent and was lovely with our kittens, Frankie and Olive. She even left us 2 hard copy photos and a sweet note for our return. We won’t hesitate to book Rachel again.”

I am an Environmental Biology, nature and animal loving Senior at Cornell, and I’m spending my summer in Ithaca! I love going on walk and spending time with pets, I will work with your schedule! Constant watch on the pet, even if they are well behaved. I love sending and taking photos to give to the owners so they can see how happy their pet is!

About: I have always lived with pets! :) I grew up with dogs Ella and Koikkie when I was little, and loved walking and playing with them. In college I couldn't have a dog, but I did get my first cat, Oliver. He was more or less feral when we found him but with lots of love and food, he became a lap cat with a happy home on a farm. Two years ago I moved to Ithaca, and have two 3-year old Siberian cats, Nadja and Moose. They need a lot of exercise and play which includes taking them out on leashes to walk around the block. I also frequently cat sit for my friends who have a mix of young and old cats. I'm currently working part-time 5 days a week. I am available for weekend pet-sitting and short visits during the week. I work until 3pm on weekdays, and am available at most times on the weekend. I am more than happy to stay in your home with your pet, and would love to give them treats and attention. I love spending time with pets and can send you daily photos at their cutest moments :)
“Chris took good care of Coco, following our directions and’s her routine. He also left the house in good order. Coco was well and happy when we returned. What more could we ask for?!”

About: I’ve taken care of all different kinds of pets from one hundred pound dogs to chinchillas and reptiles. I was lucky enough to grow up in a neighborhood with lots of animals and found great joy in taking care of them. As a kid I volunteered at my local shelter and saw first hand how each animal has a different story. Above all I love pets and understand what your pet means to you. I am college student with a flexible schedule. I am available weekends and weekdays and can work with you and your schedule to make sure your pet gets the care they need. I prioritize quality walks and play time. I care about your pets well being and understand that meaningful one on one attention helps them feel safe and happy. I make an effort to be fully present during our time together, creating a calm and intimate experience tailored to each pet’s needs.
“Graeme was awesome! Bubba was well cared for, our house was clean when he left. His communication was excellent and we felt very comfortable leaving our dog and house in his care. We will definitely be using him again!”

“Christel went above and beyond! She took care of my cat as if she were my own, and always sent updates and photos and was responsive, which helped with my anxiety as a first-time user of Rover. I was very pleased with how much attention my Mina had while I was away.”

About: As a pre-veterinary student and veterinary assistant, I combine professional animal care experience with my genuine love for our fur babies! I have over 700 hours of experience working in a boarding kennel and animal hospital. My responsibilities included caring for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, temperaments, and medical needs. Specifically, multiple daily walks, administering daily medications, following detailed feeding and care instructions, monitoring animal health and behavior, and providing enrichment to keep pets mentally and physically engaged. I have experience caring for puppies, senior pets, and animals that may be anxious or reactive. My background in veterinary medicine and current major ensure I am around animals almost every day, so I am sure to recognize changes in behavior or health. In addition to my kennel experience, I have spent years pet sitting for neighbors, friends, and family. My pet-sitting experience helps me provide the individualized care and affection that pets need to feel comfortable while their owners are away. I treat every pet as if it were my own and strive to make both pets and owners feel safe and comfortable with my care. I am currently conducting independently paced research at Cornell’s College of Veterinary Medicine, which gives me a very flexible schedule. Because I set my own hours, I am able to easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine, providing me with the ability to be reliable and attentive to each pet’s individual routine and needs. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and temperaments. I am comfortable with crating, leashing, walking, feeding, administering basic medications if needed, and following any routines provided by the owner. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I strive to prioritize safety, consistency, and most importantly, communication between the owner and me. I make sure doors and leashes are secure at all times, closely monitor pets during walks and outdoor time, and keep them on their normal feeding and exercise schedules. I also provide regular updates so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy and well taken care of while they are away.
“Emma took great care of our dog and was excellent about communicating about concerns or questions. He was a little nervous at first, and she worked patiently to earn his trust. Highly recommend!”

“What peace of mind to have Claudia take care of our dog! From the many photos and videos to her excellent communication, we were able to travel knowing our dog was in good hands. I would be thrilled to have her take care of him in the future.”

We were all so happy that YoungEun was available for another sit with Roscoe and Midge. She is awesome -- thoughtful, trustworthy, and takes such good care with the dogs and the house. My dogs love their walks, and I know when YoungEun is here, they will get the interesting, longer walks they enjoy. With water breaks and great photos! I highly and unreservedly recommend YoungEun.

Claudia took great care of our dogs and our house. Our older dog is 17 and needs multiple eye drops and medication every day, as well as careful monitoring for flare-ups of his chronic conditions. Claudia was so patient as I explained his routine to her, and he was a happy, healthy boy when we got home. We definitely plan to book her again soon!

Riya did an excellent job caring for our 2 year old toy poodle while we are out on vacation as a house sitter. She fed him, walked him and made sure to send us a daily update with pictures on his activities - giving us the peace of mind he was safe and cared for while we were away from our little boy. We will be sure to use Riya’s services again the next time we need to travel and need someone to watch Wilkie at home.

Rachel recently just spent 3 nights with my 3 pups. One of my dogs is a 16 year old Puggle and is deaf and mostly blind. She was wonderful in making sure she knew his medications and his special quirks. Although he still runs around and is very active for 16, she went above and beyond giving him special care. My 8 year old Corgi and 10 year old Beagle mix also appeared very content and happy when we got home. She asked lots of questions at the initial meet and greet and also was quick to notify us about a small piece of dry skin on one of our pups noses that appeared to have bled a little. Although nothing worrisome, I appreciated her concern and attention. She sent me several daily pictures and gave the dogs lots of outdoor and playtime. I would highly recommend Rachel and would easily call on her again.

Emma did a great job! Our 2-yr. old Newfie loved her from the moment he set eyes on her. She was very communicative, sending regular updates on how things were going and being responsive and flexible as we handled some travel delays on our way back. We would definiely use her again.

Maddy was wonderful with Reesi! She took such great care of our dog and showed her so much love. I couldn’t have been happier when I returned from a long weekend away. Maddy’s communication was excellent and gave me peace of mind the entire time. I will definitely use Maddy again and will happily recommend her to our friends.

Claudia is the absolute best! She really gets our dog and you can tell how much she loves and cares for her. She’s a great house sitter too and we really appreciated her putting up with and letting us know about some house issues that arose while we were away. Our dog never seems stressed and clearly enjoys her company. She’s also hardcore walking her in even the gross weather!
