As a rising first-year veterinary student at Cornell University, I've spent years volunteering in animal care settings, including veterinary hospitals, doggy daycares, training facilities, and animal shelters. These experiences have given me hands-on experience with pets of all ages, breeds, and personalities, while teaching me how to recognize and accommodate their individual needs. I also have two Standard Poodles that I've raised from puppies. They couldn't be more different—one is calm and gentle, while the other is energetic and always ready for adventure! Caring for dogs with such different temperaments has made me comfortable adapting to each pet's unique personality and routine. I've trained both of my dogs myself using positive reinforcement, so if you'd like, I'm happy to reinforce basic obedience or practice a few simple tricks during visits. I also groom them myself during school breaks, giving me experience with routine coat care and handling. I'm patient, attentive, and detail-oriented, and I'll tailor my care to whatever makes your pet happiest—whether that's a long walk, an active play session, exploring outside, or a quiet afternoon of companionship. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away.
