Vet Student Pet Care
As a first-year veterinary student at Cornell University, I've spent years volunteering in animal care settings, including veterinary hospitals, doggy daycares, training facilities, and animal shelters. These experiences have given me hands-on experience with pets of all ages, breeds, and personalities, while teaching me how to recognize and accommodate their individual needs. I also have two Standard Poodles that I've raised from puppies. They couldn't be more different—one is calm and gentle, while the other is energetic and always ready for adventure! Caring for dogs with such different temperaments has made me comfortable adapting to each pet's unique personality and routine. I've trained both of my dogs myself using positive reinforcement, so if you'd like, I'm happy to reinforce basic obedience or practice a few simple tricks during visits. I also groom them myself during school breaks, giving me experience with routine coat care and handling. I'm patient, attentive, and detail-oriented, and I'll tailor my care to whatever makes your pet happiest—whether that's a long walk, an active play session, exploring outside, or a quiet afternoon of companionship. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away.

Anna was a perfect sitter, she has a lovely energy and our dogs adored her. She stayed in our hotel room with our dogs while we were out, she fed them dinner and walked them when needed. She sent photos and gave updates and was very communicative. I highly recommend Anna!

Anna has been the primary caregiver for our two standard poodles from the time we got them (Dixie is 12, Clementine is 5 years old). Beyond basic care her passion for caring for our dogs has extended to grooming them, training them both with buttons to communicate and traditional commands, and an endless curiosity to ensure they are happy, healthy, and have a fulfilling life. She is extremely responsible, passionate about animals, and dedicated to mastery in everything she does. Her recent graduation with the top GPA from Cornell University's Animal Science undergrad and acceptance to Cornell Vet School is a testament to that. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their pets - you won't find a more thorough or caring individual to love your pets as if they were her own.

Schedule
As a first-year veterinary student, my schedule allows me to provide pet care through morning visits, lunchtime drop-ins, evening visits, and overnight stays. I’d love the opportunity to care for your pet while you’re away, making sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while keeping their routine as consistent as possible.
