I have two decades of experience caring for other’s pets, fostering cats, and walking dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I have worked in a veterinary office and have experience giving insulin and pills, and reacting appropriately in emergency situations. I truly love animals and try to help them at any opportunity; I have rescued abandoned kittens, volunteered hundreds of hours at shelters, and also at various animal adoption events. I started walking the dogs in my neighborhood from a very young age to prove to my parents I could have my own dog! By the 6th grade I was very skilled at pack walks but now look forward to spending individual time with each dog on our shared walk. 🙂

Rachel is excellent! She has house-sat for us twice now, and I will continue booking with her whenever I can. Each time I come home and the dogs are happy and the house is clean. She is communicative and sends fun pics throughout the day. Our dogs have light medical needs (daily meds/face cleaning) and she has no problem with this. Highly recommend Rachel!
Rachel did absolutely amazing with our cats. She was incredibly thorough, spent so much time making sure they were comfortable, and left our house so clean and tidy. I’d highly recommended!

Rachel recently just spent 3 nights with my 3 pups. One of my dogs is a 16 year old Puggle and is deaf and mostly blind. She was wonderful in making sure she knew his medications and his special quirks. Although he still runs around and is very active for 16, she went above and beyond giving him special care. My 8 year old Corgi and 10 year old Beagle mix also appeared very content and happy when we got home. She asked lots of questions at the initial meet and greet and also was quick to notify us about a small piece of dry skin on one of our pups noses that appeared to have bled a little. Although nothing worrisome, I appreciated her concern and attention. She sent me several daily pictures and gave the dogs lots of outdoor and playtime. I would highly recommend Rachel and would easily call on her again.
Rachel was wonderful accommodating a last minute dog walk for us. The dogs were so happy to see her again and she gave them a great walk. She sent lots of photos! Thanks again!
Rachel did such a wonderful job caring for our dogs over the weekend. She provided excellent communication and lots of cute photos. She sent maps of all their walks and we returned to a spotless house and happy pups as well as cute photos of their time together. We will definitely use her services again in the future. Schedule
I would like to walk dogs in my nearby area and care for pets in a client’s home. I also have experience providing care to ‘exotic’ pets as well (birds, lizards, horses, saltwater fish, rabbits, and turtles so far)!
