About: Peppy Pet Care was launched at the end of 2018 in Ithaca, NY by myself and my animal-loving, entrepreneurial eleven year old daughter. Together we worked to provide outstanding pet sitting services to Ithaca and Lansing pet owners. Beginning in 2021, I started officially working on my own, as my daughter is busy pursuing other interests and activities. I treat pets in my care as I would my own. I am considerate, patient, reliable and caring and trustworthy. I treat each visit like an adventure and make it the warmest and most wonderful experience for each animal. About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that since I was eight years old I have been taking care of cats, dogs, reptiles, and rodents. I have 25 rescue cats back home in California in which I work with rescues for free vaccines and neutering and spaying. Lots of the cats I take care of have special needs or require administering medication. I also have experience with dogs with special needs such as being spoonfed. I work part-time over the winter and will spend most days indoors studying for LSAT. I go for walks on breaks and usually give attention to my pets and others between breaks or as needed! My house has spare rooms where I can house pets if they are not comfortable with my cats! My cats can remain on third floor if needed with free roam acccess around house for cats and for dogs it varies on a case by case basis.

And our high maintenance older pointer mix is just as peaceful as ever, his respiratory issue was taken care of well and that's a lot to keep up with. I can't say enough how much my wife and I appreciate the care they gave them. The fenced in yard with a good wood pile, walks, and pictures gave us peace of mind the whole time. About: I've cared for dogs of different sizes over the years and I love to cuddle, walk, and pamper pups. We have a fenced in back yard and I like to take long walks with dogs if they're up for it. We have a 4 year old boxer/hound mix who is sweet with people but not great with other dogs. We keep him away from guest dogs, there's lots of room in the house for each dog to have their own space and still get lots of love from me and the family. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I take breaks through the day to care for puppies, whether that's a quick potty break, fun walk, or play time with balls and toys. When boarding, I make sure pups get any meds they need, plenty of time outside, and snuggles on the couch (if they're the snuggling type). I know some dogs need longer or shorter walks, and I make adjustments based on what they need.

Text/email updates are given throughout the stay, at least once per day. Our spacious backyard and separate zones of the house are large enough for everyone to have quiet time if they like. About: I have always lived with pets! :) I grew up with dogs Ella and Koikkie when I was little, and loved walking and playing with them. In college I couldn't have a dog, but I did get my first cat, Oliver. He was more or less feral when we found him but with lots of love and food, he became a lap cat with a happy home on a farm. Two years ago I moved to Ithaca, and have two 3-year old Siberian cats, Nadja and Moose. They need a lot of exercise and play which includes taking them out on leashes to walk around the block. About: I have cat/dog-sitted for a couple of friends on multiple occasions. They were extremely satisfied with my service. Additionally, I have four cats at home! So, I am familiar with taking care of cats. I am a veterinary student at Cornell University. As of currently, I am available all days of the week in the morning as well as the evening. I always make sure the fur baby has fresh water and food. Additionally, I keep the space clean and tidy if the pet made a mess (e.g. near the litter box or water bowls). Lastly, I give new pets time and space to get used to me. I don't invade their personal space and wait for them to make the initiative.

About: I’ve always been a dog person all my life. I just have a way with dogs. Patience is the best way to try your animals. Family members rely on me to feed their animals. Currently working at a grocery store so my hours are always different. When I finish working though I head straight over to where I need to go. Sometimes I head over before I have to work too. I take the animals outside when they need to go to the bathroom. While I’m out there I watch carefully over them. I comfort and pay attention to them. I talk to them like they are humans.

Beginning in 2021, I started officially working on my own, as my daughter is busy pursuing other interests and activities. I treat pets in my care as I would my own. I am considerate, patient, reliable and caring and trustworthy. I treat each visit like an adventure and make it the warmest and most wonderful experience for each animal. Mornings, afternoons, evenings, as well as late night. I am typically in town during holidays and update my online calendar frequently. I provide care in client homes only at this time. I'm always vigilant when entering and exiting client homes, so as not to allow pets to slip out.

“Holy cow! Thanks Tim and Kathy! They took such great care of our 2 dogs for 2 weeks. So flexible on meet and greet, drop off and pick up times. Our high energy boxer is wore out, super unusual. And our high maintenance older pointer mix is just as peaceful as ever, his respiratory issue was taken care of well and that's a lot to keep up with. I can't say enough how much my wife and I appreciate the care they gave them. The fenced in yard with a good wood pile, walks, and pictures gave us peace of mind the whole time. We will book again with them anytime we need to and they're available.”
