Pet care experience
Wags More, Worry Less
I’ve had dogs my whole life, but gained real hands-on experience with my current two—one training as a crisis therapy dog and the other competing in agility, both also involved in additional dog sports. This has taught me how to read behavior, build trust, and handle a wide range of needs. I’m great with puppies, high-energy dogs, and seniors (my pug lived to 18 and currently have a 13 yo husky). We also foster, so I’m used to helping dogs adjust quickly and understand the needs of dogs who have experienced more than their fair share. Some people say I’m a “dog whisperer,” but I just treat every dog like my own—paying attention to their needs and making sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. 🐾

Safety, trust & environment
I prefer to care for dogs in their own home whenever possible, as it helps reduce stress and keeps them comfortable in a familiar environment. I stick closely to their usual routines—feeding, walks, playtime, and any training or structure they’re used to—so they feel secure while you’re away. With my experience handling everything from puppies and high-energy dogs to seniors, I adjust my care to fit each dog’s personality and needs. I pay close attention to body language and behavior to make sure they’re happy and relaxed. Whether it’s keeping an active dog engaged, supporting a senior with a gentler pace, or simply providing companionship, I treat every dog like my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for.

Schedule
I work full-time but have flexibility to work remotely when needed. I prefer dogs that can comfortably spend some time alone, but I’m happy to discuss each dog’s needs to ensure they receive the best possible care.

- Most importantly, understanding routines including feeding, sleep, potty, exercise, etc. Additionally, knowing about medical needs and any safety concerns and overall personality is extremely helpful.
