“Daniel is fantastic! Our dogs had an amazing time with him. He kept us up to date and sent us photos every day! He was able to get our dog’s trust from day one and make them feel okay while we were away. Our flight was delayed by about 10 hours and he stayed with our dogs extra time to make sure they were able to eat dinner and be taken out one more time before we got home. I will definitely reach out to him again in the future.”
“My dog loved Emily and so do we! She was responsive, on time, and sent wonderful updates. An excellent dog sitter and we will hire her again should the opportunity arise.”

“Caroline is fantastic! I highly recommend her for caring for your pets. She responded quickly and provided updates! She's very friendly and respectful and my pets enjoyed her company. I would use her services again.”
“Sarah was absolutely amazing! Went above and beyond and honestly one of the best sitters I’ve ever had. Hands down. My babies loved her, she kept in contact and sent me photos of them. I couldn’t be happier!!!”

“Claudia was great; a chill housesitter/petsitter who made sure Lexi had a relaxing and stress-free few days while we were out of town at a family wedding! Just the right amount of updates and check-ins.”

“Daniela spent the weekend with our two puppies and made them so comfortable and happy! Koda can be anxious sometimes but he warmed right up to her and had a great weekend. She took them for plenty of walks and car rides, sent loads of updates and pictures. She stayed with them during our wedding weekend and I was stress free knowing they were safe and happy with her!”

About: I grew up with cats but have gotten lots of puppy-love taking care of the pups of neighbors, family and friends! I am patient and take the time to meet dogs where they're at, whether that's running around the lawn or lazy belly rubs on the floor. I believe in respecting pups and kitties alike, and am always careful to watch body language and learn their boundaries so that we both have the best experience possible. I have chronic pain that can flare up without warning; I am receiving treatment that has made those flare-ups much rarer, so there should be no issues when it comes to caring for your furry friend, but if there ever is a hiccup I will communicate promptly and clearly. When taking care of any pet I like to write down any and all notes on the pets' care routine and preferred habits in the home so I can make sure they are comfortable as possible while their normal humans are out and about.
“Rachel was thorough and detail oriented from the minute we met her, which was important to us as our dog has Megaesophagus and significant special needs. She kept our house clean and Ozzie seemed very happy upon our return. She did a great job communicating with us on as needed basis and was responsive to our texts.”

“Emma took great care of our dog and was excellent about communicating about concerns or questions. He was a little nervous at first, and she worked patiently to earn his trust. Highly recommend!”

About: I am a true animal lover!I have a genuine passion for all animals, and I truly believe they deserve love and respect, especially when their families are away. I currently volunteer at the Ithaca SPCA, where I walk dogs every Sunday. This experience has not only deepened my love for animals but has also taught me the importance of providing each pet with individual attention and care. I understand that every animal has its own personality and needs, and I strive to cater to those while ensuring they feel safe and loved. When you choose me as your animal sitter, you can rest assured that I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I will provide them with the same respect, love, and attention they are used to, so they can feel comfortable and happy while you’re away. I work from home and am able to take time for daily check ins and have weekend availability as well. Taking care of animals truly brings me so much joy and I am beyond happy to make the time that is necessary to take care of your sweet pets. I currently have no pets living in my home, but have a few feline friends that frequent my apartment. I know that a pet is as important as a family member and holds such a special place in the lives of it's owner. I make sure to provide all necessary attention, love and nurturing to a pet when needed.
“Christel went above and beyond! She took care of my cat as if she were my own, and always sent updates and photos and was responsive, which helped with my anxiety as a first-time user of Rover. I was very pleased with how much attention my Mina had while I was away.”

“Graeme watched Roger at our house over the weekend. Everything was taken care of exactly how we wanted. He sent regular updates and kept us current on how things were going. We would gladly book him again.”

“Chris did a great job with Bingo! He was responsible. He kept us informed about how Bingo was doing over the five days, showing us pictures of Bingo. He walked Bingo in various places in Ithaca. Chris kept the house neat. He just did everything right.”

About: I have always lived with pets! :) I grew up with dogs Ella and Koikkie when I was little, and loved walking and playing with them. In college I couldn't have a dog, but I did get my first cat, Oliver. He was more or less feral when we found him but with lots of love and food, he became a lap cat with a happy home on a farm. Two years ago I moved to Ithaca, and have two 3-year old Siberian cats, Nadja and Moose. They need a lot of exercise and play which includes taking them out on leashes to walk around the block. I also frequently cat sit for my friends who have a mix of young and old cats. I'm currently working part-time 5 days a week. I am available for weekend pet-sitting and short visits during the week. I work until 3pm on weekdays, and am available at most times on the weekend. I am more than happy to stay in your home with your pet, and would love to give them treats and attention. I love spending time with pets and can send you daily photos at their cutest moments :)

I am currently a physical therapy student at Ithaca College who is spending the summer here in Ithaca and looking to dog walk/sit or pet sit! We were so lucky to have Sawyer petsit for our new dog while we on vacation. Sawyer was very responsive setting up a get to know you visit right away. We felt our dog was in great hands with Sawyer and trusted her completely. Sawyer was great at communicating and sending photos. Our dog really liked her!

Daniela was proactive in her care for our pups, thinking of things (like how they'd do in a thunderstorm) that we hadn't thought of mentioning. She also left the house in better shape than she found it, so we had the pleasure of coming home to happy, relaxed pups in a clean house.

We were all so happy that YoungEun was available for another sit with Roscoe and Midge. She is awesome -- thoughtful, trustworthy, and takes such good care with the dogs and the house. My dogs love their walks, and I know when YoungEun is here, they will get the interesting, longer walks they enjoy. With water breaks and great photos! I highly and unreservedly recommend YoungEun.

Riya did an excellent job caring for our 2 year old toy poodle while we are out on vacation as a house sitter. She fed him, walked him and made sure to send us a daily update with pictures on his activities - giving us the peace of mind he was safe and cared for while we were away from our little boy. We will be sure to use Riya’s services again the next time we need to travel and need someone to watch Wilkie at home.

Rachel recently just spent 3 nights with my 3 pups. One of my dogs is a 16 year old Puggle and is deaf and mostly blind. She was wonderful in making sure she knew his medications and his special quirks. Although he still runs around and is very active for 16, she went above and beyond giving him special care. My 8 year old Corgi and 10 year old Beagle mix also appeared very content and happy when we got home. She asked lots of questions at the initial meet and greet and also was quick to notify us about a small piece of dry skin on one of our pups noses that appeared to have bled a little. Although nothing worrisome, I appreciated her concern and attention. She sent me several daily pictures and gave the dogs lots of outdoor and playtime. I would highly recommend Rachel and would easily call on her again.

Emma did a great job! Our 2-yr. old Newfie loved her from the moment he set eyes on her. She was very communicative, sending regular updates on how things were going and being responsive and flexible as we handled some travel delays on our way back. We would definiely use her again.

Maddy was wonderful with Reesi! She took such great care of our dog and showed her so much love. I couldn’t have been happier when I returned from a long weekend away. Maddy’s communication was excellent and gave me peace of mind the entire time. I will definitely use Maddy again and will happily recommend her to our friends.

Claudia is the absolute best! She really gets our dog and you can tell how much she loves and cares for her. She’s a great house sitter too and we really appreciated her putting up with and letting us know about some house issues that arose while we were away. Our dog never seems stressed and clearly enjoys her company. She’s also hardcore walking her in even the gross weather!
