“AMAZING CARE!! This was the first time we have boarded our 15 month old GSD for more than 1 night, so we obviously wanted to find someone who would be good with her while we were on vacation for 10 days. Arya is not only good with his boarding practices, but he is also fantastic with “reading” dogs and has a deep understanding of them and their individual behaviors/needs. Nika has not been properly socialized because of my neurological condition, and difficulty walking her. She lunges at other dogs and has pulled me over. Arya had this frantic behavior and her “skittish” energy around other dogs diminished by the second day! There were daily videos (often 2-3) of her doing different things (walking, eating, interacting with his 3 dogs, lying in the crate, etc.) Excellent communication, and immediate responses to questions. We will absolutely be using Arya again for boarding, and are also considering training classes!!! Thanks again Arya!!! Nika had fun ?”

About: I have a dog at home that is 5 years old that I take care of. I can provide medicine to any dog and can provide senior care also! I am currently working part time this summer. I am available weekly to walk and babysit dogs! I can also provide walks multiple times a day if needed I will take them for walks three times a day and will take them to a dog park. About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that since I was eight years old I have been taking care of cats, dogs, reptiles, and rodents. I have 25 rescue cats back home in California in which I work with rescues for free vaccines and neutering and spaying. Lots of the cats I take care of have special needs or require administering medication. I also have experience with dogs with special needs such as being spoonfed. I work part-time over the winter and will spend most days indoors studying for LSAT. I go for walks on breaks and usually give attention to my pets and others between breaks or as needed! About: I've cared for dogs of different sizes over the years and I love to cuddle, walk, and pamper pups. We have a fenced in back yard and I like to take long walks with dogs if they're up for it. We have a 4 year old boxer/hound mix who is sweet with people but not great with other dogs. We keep him away from guest dogs, there's lots of room in the house for each dog to have their own space and still get lots of love from me and the family. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I take breaks through the day to care for puppies, whether that's a quick potty break, fun walk, or play time with balls and toys. When boarding, I make sure pups get any meds they need, plenty of time outside, and snuggles on the couch (if they're the snuggling type). I know some dogs need longer or shorter walks, and I make adjustments based on what they need.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats all my life. In the past 8 years I have lived in CO during that time, I have been through pain and loss. Shortly after moving our dog was diagnosed with bone cancer and then our cat with Heart/Kidney disease. About: I've had dogs my entire life from puppies to rescues! I've also been a grooming salon manager in Ithaca for 9 years. I've cared for many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks all dogs have and I love them all the same. I have two dogs of my own Luke and Yoda. Luke is a 6 year old lab mix around 35 lbs. He is very loving and playful. Yoda is a 5 year old miniature fox terrier mix who has unlimited energy and is the sweetest snuggler. I am home all day with my baby and two dogs of my own so I can give the same care to some extra dogs! I treat every dog as if they are my own. I have lots of extra blankets to make sure they have there own space (i do recommend to bring some of there stuff like blankets, beds, and toys to make them more comfortable) and have extra room to separate them if they need to be alone. About: Fun fact: I began dog walking/sitting at just the age of 15 in Los Angeles, where I’m originally from. The old school way: pinning flyers around my neighborhood. In addition to my pet care experience, I was raised on an inner-city farm, so I am familiar with the work, time, and care that should be devoted to animals of all kinds. I am currently a college student- I have lots of flexibility in my schedule, and can work based on what you and your fur babies need. Please share any specific schedule needs with me so I know how best to cater to your pet(s). I am comfortable and capable with many aspects of pet (cat, dog, rabbit, chicken, reptile, etc) care- including walking, crating, feeding, administering medication, and anything else that your pet may need!
About: I’ve volunteered at shelters to walk dogs since I was 10, and I got my first dog at age 16. I am currently a puppy raiser for Guiding Eyes for the Blind and am raising my first dog for the organization. I have experience with puppies as young as 8 weeks and as old as 14 years. I am a student who works part time, so I have ample time to give to pet sitting and care. I am a lover of animals and will make time for them wherever I can I have pet sit in other peoples homes for both cats and dogs and have always kept them safe in the house and on walks around the neighborhood
About: I’ve always been a dog person all my life. I just have a way with dogs. Patience is the best way to try your animals. Family members rely on me to feed their animals. Currently working at a grocery store so my hours are always different. When I finish working though I head straight over to where I need to go. Sometimes I head over before I have to work too. I take the animals outside when they need to go to the bathroom. While I’m out there I watch carefully over them. I comfort and pay attention to them. I talk to them like they are humans.

“AMAZING CARE!! This was the first time we have boarded our 15 month old GSD for more than 1 night, so we obviously wanted to find someone who would be good with her while we were on vacation for 10 days. Arya is not only good with his boarding practices, but he is also fantastic with “reading” dogs and has a deep understanding of them and their individual behaviors/needs. Nika has not been properly socialized because of my neurological condition, and difficulty walking her. She lunges at other dogs and has pulled me over. Arya had this frantic behavior and her “skittish” energy around other dogs diminished by the second day! There were daily videos (often 2-3) of her doing different things (walking, eating, interacting with his 3 dogs, lying in the crate, etc.) Excellent communication, and immediate responses to questions. The older dog gets anxiety when she would stay at a boarding facility due to being around lots of dogs, barking and sleeping in a kennel. She experienced none of that while with Jessica. About: I’ve cared for dogs for 10 yrs and have owned a cattle dog mix for 6! I’ve fostered and pet sat dogs, cats, and kittens throughout that time. I have experience giving medication, basic training, and am detail oriented when it comes to any special instructions. My priority is following your lead when it comes to what's best for your pet's safety, nurturance, and play! Right now, my care schedule is flexible! I'm available for boarding in my home or pet sitting in yours. I work part-time, two days a week as a direct service provider from my home and 1-2 events per week at Cornell. I'm intentionally staying open so I can spend time at home with my dog and am never away for long! I love taking long walks around my quiet, rural neighborhood or spending time exploring the area. I live in a quiet, rural cottage with a screened in porch, backyard and tie out. My cattle dog mix is super playful and loves other dogs! Happy to also provide care in your home, especially for cats and other animals.
About: For any and all services I provide I will be seeking guidance from the pet owner for preferred handling as people treat their pets differently (allowed on furniture, leash vs off leash, feeding times, etc.) Most of my pet sitting experience has been at their home and i have cared for up to four dogs and two cats (plus chickens and fish). I have also babysat for a cat and a few different dogs at my place. I enjoy an active lifestyle and live near state lands so lots of hiking is usually on the agenda (for dogs anyway). I recently put down my aging cat and have found life is lonely without him, but I am not ready to replace him just yet. Rover seems like a great way to get my fix and earn some extra money along the way. I work full time Monday through Friday and have hour long lunch breaks if midday breaks are needed for your pets. Weekends are for serious play! I live on a low traffic road near a state forest. Access to trails from my back door and a large (unfenced) yard to roam. When staying in someone’s home I treat it like my own with care.
