Right now, I’m focusing on dog walking and giving pups a safe, engaging, and positive experience on their daily outings. I have over 5 years of hands-on experience working in a shelter setting, working with all types of dogs — from social butterflies to anxious or reactive pups. Every walk is tailored to each dog’s needs, energy level, and comfort. I read body language, move at their pace, and provide structure, enrichment, and calm guidance. About: Pet care found ME... I did not find it. After cuddling with random dogs I'd meet on the street my whole life, someone finally asked me "Why don't you take care of pets professionally?" And thus a career was born (which I've adored ever since). I owned my own pet care company for over 15 years while living in NYC and NJ. Now, I’m based in Ithaca, and look forward to taking care of your fur baby! I am not working full time and have plenty of downtime. Thus, my schedule is super flexible and easily adjustable to your pet care needs! I treat all pets as if they were my own. I had a chow chow for many years, which was a member of our family and that is how I view ALL animals. They are part of our lives and our hearts and should be treated with just as much kindness and love as their human counterparts. Hospitality and pet care are my main sources of income. I work nights in hospitality, and my schedule is fairly flexible. I will always make every fur baby take care of my priority! I can take care of pets at your home or mine. I live in a three story/three bedroom townhouse, so there is plenty of room. The townhouse community sits on a big piece of open property. I absolutely LOVE playing with your pets--whether they are in my house or yours. I especially love giving them lots of love and affection!

About: I absolutely love all dogs, any size and breed. I was a foster parent for a local animal rescue before I had my youngest daughter. My family and I have owned many dogs during my life. Currently my family does not have any dogs. I have always treated my dogs like a member of my family, without 'spoiling' them. Any specific requests, or needs I will certainly listen to them without question. I have a very flexible work schedule, and can provide any service that you are looking for. The only thing I will not be able to do is overnight stays since I have young children. I’m currently working part time from home, and can be available whenever I am needed! I am available for boarding and visits on the weekends! I have a dog kennel and can take them for walks if needed. If they need to be crated, I am able to do that as well.
