“They did a great job taking care of my pup! He normally takes a while to warm up to strangers and gets stressed easily, but I could tell they made him very comfortable and he had lots of fun during his stay. He’s not the easiest dog to sit since he has medications and has certain behaviors in new environments, but they handled everything like pros and I got lots of updates throughout the day. They truly care about your pup and I could not have asked for better people to trust my dog with!”

“Lorie was so great with Baxter. She offered to meet with me and him before the stay to make sure we were comfortable, and to meet her dogs. She was very accommodating with any and all requests. During Baxter’s stay, Lorie kept me updated with pictures of him and his activities. When I picked Baxter up after his stay, he was happy, healthy and clean; I could tell immediately that he was well cared for. Additionally, this was during a stretch of days that were somewhat hot and Baxter, as a short snout dog, has issues with the heat and Lorie understood immediately what I was talking about and assured me that the heat wouldn’t be an issue and he wouldn’t be out in the heat too long. Most of all, Lorie gave me peace of mind that our pup was in safe, caring hands, which for me is priceless.”

“John and his wife have created such wonderful indoor & outdoor spaces for dogs of all sizes and ages to romp and play, or just chill and be mellow. Their back yard is fenced and beautiful, and my little Leroy Brown was loving the opportunity to play safely off leash with John’s amazingly sweet dogs. John provided pics/ updates and I had 100% peace of mind knowing my little man was in excellent hands. I highly recommend and will definitely be calling on John for every future puppy sitting need!”

My golden retriever, Simba was well taken care of in her home, instead of in a kennel at the overpriced “fancy” boarder in Ithaca. She sent me updates and pics daily and answered all of my texts within minutes! When my arrival time changed last minute, she was flexible and understanding. I will be using Destiny in the future and recommending her to other dog parents that I know!”
