I work full-time from home. My spouse is an earlier riser and typically handles morning feedings and potty breaks ~6:30am. I take regular breaks throughout the day to spend time outside in my garden and walk around our property and pond. Dinner is given between 5-6:30 and a final potty break at 9:30ish.

Safety, trust & environment
We are actively training our 2 yo rescue, who joined our family a year ago. Most training occurs on our daily walks around the neighborhood, though we do practice some at home. There are dog beds throughout the house, though we do allow pets on the furniture. We have a basket of dog toys and bones available at all times, unless they cause conflict. Our little guy is crate-trained and sleeps in his “house” at night. I do not require that of other dogs. I do have two rabbits that live outside in an enclosure during fair weather and my office in the winter. We had an ancient kitty who died just prior to Pepe joining the family, but he does not get along with cats.

Information Haley & Anna R. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs. I am not squeamish and have experience with medication regimens, mobility challenges, diapers, etc. I just need to know in advance so I can ensure I have capacity to provide tailored attention to your pup!
A typical day
I usually take a brisk, 1-2.5 mile walk mid-morning, weather-permitting. We have 1.4 acres with a pond and I try to take a lap around the pond at least once during the day. We have a variety of toys and dog puzzles, a Chuck-It, and puzzle feeders available.

Pet care experience
We recently lost our 13 yo Boxer to old age. This has left our super social 2 yo Frenchie lonely. We do not want the full-time responsibility of another pet at this time, but I WFH and think hosting dogs would be beneficial for our family! I have experience with complex medication needs, managing injuries/arthritis/pain, and all types of personalities. I am learning more and more about dog training and behavior as we seek to train our little guy.
Reviews

Haley and Anna did a wonderful job watching our miniature dachshund Clancy! He was loved on, cuddled, exercised, and saved the whole time. We felt great knowing that he was there. 10 out of 10.

As always, Haley and Anna made nervous Nellie feel completely at home. 💜

Haley & Anna take great care of Kenzo. He loves going on adventures & hikes with them and comes home calm and relaxed. Highly recommend!

I was a bit nervous leaving Leo since I’ve had both great and bad experiences in the past with other Rover sitters, but all my worries vanished the first night. The daily summaries, along with pictures and videos of Leo walking, playing, and lounging comfortably, made it clear he felt right at home. Haley, Anna, and Pepe truly made Leo a part of their family while we were away. I’ve already booked them for our upcoming vacations because I feel so confident leaving him with them—I want him to feel like he’s on vacation, too! They did a wonderful job taking care of Leo, and I would definitely recommend them.
