About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and dogsitted for family and friends as well. I am an easy going, attentive and caring person, who will never leave the dogs side! They are in good company with me I’m home the entire day, and wherever I go, the dog goes with me! To the park, walk to the supermarket, to the beach, coffee dates, or simply just relaxing at home. They will always be in good company and constantly attended to! I have a big house very suitable for any size dog, including German Shepards! (I used to have one) I also have a large beautiful garden/ courtyard in which they can safely play with no traffic or problems, and a park right next door! I go running daily so if they’re active dogs they can join me with great pleasure! Or just a long leisurely walk, I’m quite an active person and anywhere I go the dog comes with me!

I had to find a last minute sitter over the holiday weekend, which, without Georgia's responsiveness and flexibility, would have been next to impossible. When I dropped my dog off, I could tell immediately that she was going to have an amazing time. Georgia sent lots of updates while I was away, which was much appreciated. About: I've had dogs my entire life from puppies to rescues! I've also been a grooming salon manager in Ithaca for 9 years. I've cared for many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks all dogs have and I love them all the same. I have two dogs of my own Luke and Yoda. Luke is a 6 year old lab mix around 35 lbs. He is very loving and playful. Yoda is a 5 year old miniature fox terrier mix who has unlimited energy and is the sweetest snuggler. I am home all day with my baby and two dogs of my own so I can give the same care to some extra dogs! I treat every dog as if they are my own. I have lots of extra blankets to make sure they have there own space (i do recommend to bring some of there stuff like blankets, beds, and toys to make them more comfortable) and have extra room to separate them if they need to be alone. I will always make sure they are comfortable, happy, loved, and safe!
About: I have worked with dogs and cats in General practice vet clinics and ER vet clinics for over three years. I also have experience volunteering at animal shelters and dog sitting/cat sitting. My schedule is very flexible and I am available most days and times for your pet! I am even able to care for pets on weekends, early mornings and evenings. I have a one bedroom apartment and no animals in the house.I can keep up with feeding schedules, walking schedules, and any medical needs your pet may have such as providing medication. About: Pet care found ME... I did not find it. After cuddling with random dogs I'd meet on the street my whole life, someone finally asked me "Why don't you take care of pets professionally?" And thus a career was born (which I've adored ever since). I owned my own pet care company for over 15 years while living in NYC and NJ. I had a chow chow for many years, which was a member of our family and that is how I view ALL animals. About: I am just starting to my fourth career, playing with your companion. I recently retired from teaching sustainable development at UAlbany. I now spend my days outside with hairy friend Herman. I picked up my first stray, Bandit, at 9. I have had a at least one dog since then, I am now 63. All from shelters or strays. I also did doggie foster care too. Known to be gentle and friend of the furry ones. I start each day with a morning meander across the 25 acres on a dead end road. Your companion will be well exercised, loved and cared for as long as they get along with my 14 year old hairy friend Herman, who lets cats eat from his dishes. He runs the place when it comes to house rules. He does not have viscous bone in his body. After three careers and global travel I am recently retired. My days are spent gardening, walking, sitting on the porch, listening to music, etc. I am rarely gone more than a few hours as Herman, my four legged friend, needs special care at 14 years old. I am typically up before dawn, no dog or alarm necessary. My day typically begins with me waking predawn and greeting the new day with my hound Herman on the 25 acres we cohabitate. Most is abandoned agriculture returning to forest for 35 plus years that is bisected by a small babbling brook. Breakfast is then served before returning outside. In climate weather I am outside more than 70% of my day outside. At 14 he chooses to stay in sometimes. Your companion will be free to make their own choice too. My life ambition is to nurture life. I have cared for pets since I was born as my family had cats. There is a fenced area that includes four shaded area. There will be plenty of water, including a baby pool for play as well as sprinklers. This area is shares two fences lines with my garden, has direct access to a walk out basement, and is fully visible from my porch. The dogs will have near 24/7 personal attention and care. I live sustainably. There are no chemicals in my lawn or garden. I have an enclosed porch that in the summer is open air, but no steps to escape. Only with your permission would I walk a guest off leash. Before walking them off leash I will need feel 100% confident they respond to command when other distractions are present. Again with your permission I would take your friend to a fenced in dog park visit as a trial run. Herman, my housemate, is a happy healthy 14 year old he is my best reference. He also has final word on all guest of all species. About an 1/2 acre is fenced with direct access from the house through the basement door. It includes shaded doggie lounges, a baby pool in the summer, toys galore, and lots of attention as the space is adjacent to my garden and the covered porch. It has the capacity to be divided if unruly dog needs to be isolated or there are little ones that just need time away from the bigger ones. Indoors, dogs are free to roam in the basement and first floor. If they are cage trained I can accommodate that. The two beds are off limits. To prevent misunderstanding with bed loving dogs I will keep my guest room. Both the porch and the living room couches are fine. Little ones may use chairs too. The house is really set up for Herman’s comfort and safety. The 32x10 covered front porch is a favorite of Herman and all his visiting friends. Your hairy friend will be delighted by this feature too. One more thing, the hardwood floors are currently covered in rubber “yoga mats” as Herman can not cope with slippery floors. There are also many large dog beds that Herman is happy to share. Opps, where are our manners; welcome to our slice of Paradise!😊

I am employed full time as a PhD student at Cornell and am seeking a side job that I could enjoy as much as my current job. I live by myself in a quiet, smoke-free home with no other animals or children. I am in a pedestrian-friendly area with excellent scenery for walking. Becca went above and beyond to take care of our dog blue while we were on vacation. Blue was boarding with Becca and her husband at their place. They would make Blue delicious, nutritious food everyday. The pure excitement in blue’s eyes when he sees the food shows in the pictures Becca send us regularly. We get multiple updates of blue everyday with tons of pictures. Becca and her husband even took blue to Ithaca falls and let him play in the water. Blue got exercised more than we asked for. Blue had problems with allergies during his stay with Becca, but they took good care of blue: wiping his paws after every walk, and feeding him medication hided in a cheese wrap everyday. My boyfriend and I are so grateful for Becca and her husband’s effort in taking care of Blue. They are the ones that made us relaxed enough to enjoy our vacation - knowing that blue is in good hands. She made it feel like that our dog was on his little vexation too.
