Peppy Pet Care was launched at the end of 2018 in Ithaca, NY by myself and my animal-loving, entrepreneurial eleven year old daughter. Together we worked to provide outstanding pet sitting services to Ithaca and Lansing pet owners. Beginning in 2021, I started officially working on my own, as my daughter is busy pursuing other interests and activities. I treat pets in my care as I would my own. I am considerate, patient, reliable and caring and trustworthy. I treat each visit like an adventure and make it the warmest and most wonderful experience for each animal. I look forward to meeting you and your cat/dog and discussing your care needs. Thank you in advance for considering my services!!! I'm available both weekdays and weekends. Mornings, afternoons, evenings, as well as late night. I am typically in town during holidays and update my online calendar frequently. I provide care in client homes only at this time. I'm always vigilant when entering and exiting client homes, so as not to allow pets to slip out.

Aleta has been my go-to sitter for three years and I can’t imagine leaving my very skittish senior cat with anyone else. Recently, my cat became pickier about food and her feeding needs required a lot more steps; Aleta adapted to the new instructions with no issues and kept me updated on my cat’s appetite and behavior every day. Aleta checks off all the petsitter boxes!
I cannot recommend Aleta enough. The feeding needs of my senior cat (whom Aleta has been caring for for three years) recently got a bit more complicated and Aleta followed all instructions and kept me updated on how much or little my cat was eating. I returned to a happy and healthy-looking Mona. You can count on Aleta to take thoughtful and loving care of your pet, whatever its needs.
