About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 12 years old! My entire live I have had dogs all around me and apart of my family. As I got older I learned more about the importance of animal care. I have pet sit my families dogs many times as well as friends and neighbors. I not only pet sit but walk and run dogs! In high school I actually had a small business where I would take peoples dogs for a run or walk! I work part time and am in my last year of college at Cornell University. I tend to go on walks and runs daily so I would love to have a dog accompany me. I tend to study at home in a friend friendly community so I will have lots of time to care for them. I am very observant and watchful! Being in the science field has allowed me to pay attention to detail, so I take that in to my practice or caring for animals. I truly love dogs so much and have a passion for caring for them!

“Jennifer's place was a haven for dogs who love to have easy access to the outdoors. My dog Kodi is 13 and now has some digestive challenges now. He's pretty cranky for a 9-pound ball of fluff and Jennifer kept him happy and exercised with multiple walks per day and lots of chances to explore outside. Kodi can be avoidant or sometimes fearful of larger dogs, but he seemed at ease interacting with the other pups he met during his stay. Jennifer was super flexible and accommodating, thank you!!”

About: Hi I have experienced with all size dog and breed through my veterinary assistance experience. I also have a Black Lab her name is Lisa, and she is turning four years old. I am a full time student at Cornell. I have a back yard for puppy play time. I take boarding, sitting, and walking as long as the schedule fits. Also I can do same day appointment to support our pet parents. I have fenced yard. Extra leashes and harness. We are in a dog friendly neighborhood. My dog is 80lb so I can handle dog who pull and large size.

About: I have a dog at home that is 5 years old that I take care of. I can provide medicine to any dog and can provide senior care also! I am currently working part time this summer. About: Pet care found ME... I did not find it. After cuddling with random dogs I'd meet on the street my whole life, someone finally asked me "Why don't you take care of pets professionally?" And thus a career was born (which I've adored ever since). I owned my own pet care company for over 15 years while living in NYC and NJ. Now, I’m based in Ithaca, and look forward to taking care of your fur baby! I am not working full time and have plenty of downtime. Thus, my schedule is super flexible and easily adjustable to your pet care needs! I treat all pets as if they were my own. I had a chow chow for many years, which was a member of our family and that is how I view ALL animals. They are part of our lives and our hearts and should be treated with just as much kindness and love as their human counterparts. Hospitality and pet care are my main sources of income. I work nights in hospitality, and my schedule is fairly flexible. I will always make every fur baby take care of my priority! I can take care of pets at your home or mine. I live in a three story/three bedroom townhouse, so there is plenty of room. The townhouse community sits on a big piece of open property. I absolutely LOVE playing with your pets--whether they are in my house or yours. I especially love giving them lots of love and affection!

“Jessica and her family were amazing. They watched our 6 month old puppy and 7 year old dog for 4 nights while we were on a vacation. The older dog gets anxiety when she would stay at a boarding facility due to being around lots of dogs, barking and sleeping in a kennel. She experienced none of that while with Jessica. She came home happy, calm and most importantly, with an appetite. She took them on long walks everyday, played with them and treated them as her own. About: I am just starting to my fourth career, playing with your companion. I recently retired from teaching sustainable development at UAlbany. I now spend my days outside with hairy friend Herman. I picked up my first stray, Bandit, at 9. I have had a at least one dog since then, I am now 63. All from shelters or strays. I also did doggie foster care too. Known to be gentle and friend of the furry ones. I start each day with a morning meander across the 25 acres on a dead end road. Your companion will be well exercised, loved and cared for as long as they get along with my 14 year old hairy friend Herman, who lets cats eat from his dishes. He runs the place when it comes to house rules. He does not have viscous bone in his body. After three careers and global travel I am recently retired. My days are spent gardening, walking, sitting on the porch, listening to music, etc. I am rarely gone more than a few hours as Herman, my four legged friend, needs special care at 14 years old. I am typically up before dawn, no dog or alarm necessary. My day typically begins with me waking predawn and greeting the new day with my hound Herman on the 25 acres we cohabitate. Most is abandoned agriculture returning to forest for 35 plus years that is bisected by a small babbling brook. Breakfast is then served before returning outside. In climate weather I am outside more than 70% of my day outside. At 14 he chooses to stay in sometimes. Your companion will be free to make their own choice too. My life ambition is to nurture life. I have cared for pets since I was born as my family had cats. There is a fenced area that includes four shaded area. There will be plenty of water, including a baby pool for play as well as sprinklers. This area is shares two fences lines with my garden, has direct access to a walk out basement, and is fully visible from my porch. The dogs will have near 24/7 personal attention and care. I live sustainably. There are no chemicals in my lawn or garden. I have an enclosed porch that in the summer is open air, but no steps to escape. Only with your permission would I walk a guest off leash. Before walking them off leash I will need feel 100% confident they respond to command when other distractions are present. Again with your permission I would take your friend to a fenced in dog park visit as a trial run. Herman, my housemate, is a happy healthy 14 year old he is my best reference. He also has final word on all guest of all species. About an 1/2 acre is fenced with direct access from the house through the basement door. It includes shaded doggie lounges, a baby pool in the summer, toys galore, and lots of attention as the space is adjacent to my garden and the covered porch. It has the capacity to be divided if unruly dog needs to be isolated or there are little ones that just need time away from the bigger ones. Indoors, dogs are free to roam in the basement and first floor. If they are cage trained I can accommodate that. The two beds are off limits. To prevent misunderstanding with bed loving dogs I will keep my guest room. Both the porch and the living room couches are fine. Little ones may use chairs too. The house is really set up for Herman’s comfort and safety. The 32x10 covered front porch is a favorite of Herman and all his visiting friends. Your hairy friend will be delighted by this feature too. One more thing, the hardwood floors are currently covered in rubber “yoga mats” as Herman can not cope with slippery floors. There are also many large dog beds that Herman is happy to share. Opps, where are our manners; welcome to our slice of Paradise!😊

About: I have worked with dogs and cats in General practice vet clinics and ER vet clinics for over three years. I also have experience volunteering at animal shelters and dog sitting/cat sitting. My schedule is very flexible and I am available most days and times for your pet! I am even able to care for pets on weekends, early mornings and evenings. I have a fenced in yard and no animals in the house. My own pets were crate trained and I am capable of keeping up with feeding schedules, walking schedules, and any medical needs your pet may have such as providing medication.

About: I've taken care of pets since I was a child-- growing up with a large breed and small dog and two cats-- I've always loved animals. I have a large breed dog named Chewbacca and an adult indoor cat named Chase. Both are friendly with other animals, easy going, and playful. I work from home most days so I'm very available! I'm here in my house and I'm happy to offer lots of love, comfort, cuddles, and address any special dietary or medical needs when your pet stays with me! My older large dog is very sweet and sleeps most of the day, but he enjoys playing with other dogs and otherwise is great with cats and any other animals he encounters! I have a large fenced yard on just over an acre outside of Ithaca. Dogs can run and are very happy here when visiting! I am happy to supervise any bathroom breaks or keep your pet on a leash if you prefer them not running the large yard-- whatever feels most comfortable! I will follow your care instructions precisely to ensure your pet gets the love and attention needed.
