About: Hi, I’m Katie, and I’ve been taking care of dogs my whole life. My family has 6 dogs total, from a Chihuahua to Pit Bulls, so I’m quite familiar with taking care of different sizes, ages, and breeds. I also have experience taking care of senior dogs with special needs, as I used to own a blind and deaf dog. I’m happy to pet sit overnight or just take your dog on a walk! About: For any and all services I provide I will be seeking guidance from the pet owner for preferred handling as people treat their pets differently (allowed on furniture, leash vs off leash, feeding times, etc.) Most of my pet sitting experience has been at their home and i have cared for up to four dogs and two cats (plus chickens and fish). I have also babysat for a cat and a few different dogs at my place. I enjoy an active lifestyle and live near state lands so lots of hiking is usually on the agenda (for dogs anyway). I recently put down my aging cat and have found life is lonely without him, but I am not ready to replace him just yet. Rover seems like a great way to get my fix and earn some extra money along the way. I work full time Monday through Friday and have hour long lunch breaks if midday breaks are needed for your pets. Weekends are for serious play! I live on a low traffic road near a state forest. Access to trails from my back door and a large (unfenced) yard to roam. When staying in someone’s home I treat it like my own with care.

About: Ever since I was a small child, neighbors and friends have entrusted me to check in on their beloved animals and ensure they are fed, played with, and cleaned up after. As an adult who normally teaches full time, I have house sit for colleagues who have children and take them on vacation while I look after their dogs and their parents' chickens across the street. I don't work summers or during school breaks and I don't have kids so I have a lot of flexibility and free time when school is not in session. I'm great with animals On breaks and weekends, I can make pet care my sole focus. No children or other pressing obligations means that I can give all my attention to your furry friends. I come prepared to enrich your pets time and can read a book while they sleep. My husband can handle my household chores so that I don't have to leave your house if that is what the job entails. The only real routine barrier is my teaching job but that is only during week days in the 10 month school year not accounting for planned holidays, Summer or weeks off. I can prepare food, take on walks, clean litter boxes, give medicine, regularly keep water bowls cleaned and filled, play with and ensure that all animals are where they are supposed to be when I turn in for the night or leave the house. I will defer to client's needs or requests as well for anything out of the ordinary.

I have taken care of dogs for about 4 years and have experience feeding, walking, and watching dogs. I also really enjoy taking dogs on hikes! We believe that a tired pet is a well behaved pet, so enrichment is a big deal to us. Your pup will enjoy nature walks where they can sniff their heart out, and mentally stimulating toys when the weather is too cold for walks. My husband, Jack, works from home most days so outside breaks can be as frequent as your dog needs. I work full time 4 days/week and my husband, Jack, works from home to provide potty breaks, walks, and other enrichment as frequently as your pet needs. I make sure that all of your pets’ needs are met from the first moment they come into home, just like I would with my own dog, Brisco. Text/email updates are given throughout the stay, at least once per day. Our spacious backyard and separate zones of the house are large enough for everyone to have quiet time if they like. Pups will be monitored outside at all times. We will be sure to monitor the environment of exotic pets & aquatic species carefully.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats all my life. In the past 8 years I have lived in CO during that time, I have been through pain and loss. Shortly after moving our dog was diagnosed with bone cancer and then our cat with Heart/Kidney disease. I have experience with caring for sick animals (dogs and cats) - giving medication, subcutaneous fluids, frequent bathroom breaks/issues, also first hand experience with separation anxiety I have currently moved back to my home in the Finger Lakes of New York! About: I've cared for dogs of different sizes over the years and I love to cuddle, walk, and pamper pups. We have a fenced in back yard and I like to take long walks with dogs if they're up for it. We have a 4 year old boxer/hound mix who is sweet with people but not great with other dogs. We keep him away from guest dogs, there's lots of room in the house for each dog to have their own space and still get lots of love from me and the family. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I take breaks through the day to care for puppies, whether that's a quick potty break, fun walk, or play time with balls and toys. When boarding, I make sure pups get any meds they need, plenty of time outside, and snuggles on the couch (if they're the snuggling type). I know some dogs need longer or shorter walks, and I make adjustments based on what they need.

About: I have pet care experience that dates back to my early teenage-hood. In addition, my family has had large dogs that I help to care for since I was very young. Currently I own a 5-year old cat and it has been such a joy to finally know the pleasure or living and loving with a cat! About: Living with family dogs since the age of 5 I have completely fallen in love. My favorite job has been at a doggy daycare when I get to interact and watch over all the well being of the dogs. I also have a month of pet sitting experience with the full care package. I am currently looking for a job in Ithaca after a long winter adventure in Vermont. About: I’ve always been a dog person all my life. I just have a way with dogs. Patience is the best way to try your animals. Family members rely on me to feed their animals. Currently working at a grocery store so my hours are always different. When I finish working though I head straight over to where I need to go. Sometimes I head over before I have to work too. I take the animals outside when they need to go to the bathroom. While I’m out there I watch carefully over them. I comfort and pay attention to them. I talk to them like they are humans.

About: For any and all services I provide I will be seeking guidance from the pet owner for preferred handling as people treat their pets differently (allowed on furniture, leash vs off leash, feeding times, etc.) Most of my pet sitting experience has been at their home and i have cared for up to four dogs and two cats (plus chickens and fish). I have also babysat for a cat and a few different dogs at my place. I enjoy an active lifestyle and live near state lands so lots of hiking is usually on the agenda (for dogs anyway). I recently put down my aging cat and have found life is lonely without him, but I am not ready to replace him just yet. Rover seems like a great way to get my fix and earn some extra money along the way. I work full time Monday through Friday and have hour long lunch breaks if midday breaks are needed for your pets. Weekends are for serious play! I live on a low traffic road near a state forest. Access to trails from my back door and a large (unfenced) yard to roam. When staying in someone’s home I treat it like my own with care.
“Jessica and her family were amazing. They watched our 6 month old puppy and 7 year old dog for 4 nights while we were on a vacation. The older dog gets anxiety when she would stay at a boarding facility due to being around lots of dogs, barking and sleeping in a kennel. She experienced none of that while with Jessica. She came home happy, calm and most importantly, with an appetite. She took them on long walks everyday, played with them and treated them as her own.
