My 9 month old miniature poodle Russet, who just joined our family, and who is scared of meeting new people, quickly got to know Anika, thanks to her calm demeanor and skills around skittish dogs. Anika came reliably and communicates with us regularly. It was a stressful first week with a puppy for me, trying to manage the puppy’s needs while also working full time. Anika made this week happen for me. I felt Russet was getting the care he needed mid-day when Anika took him for a walk and I was able to focus on my work with a untroubled heart over leaving a puppy home for an extended period of time.”

About: I have always loved animals. I’ve had quite a few pets in my life (cats, rodents, reptiles, and fish) and have always loved caring for them. Right now I have three cats but no dogs, unfortunately I can’t have my own right now. The dog I listed as mine is my family dog that I care for when I visit back home (Rico). I chose Rover because I felt it was a good way to still have dogs (and other animals) in my life and to help people in my neighborhood. I’d treat your pets as if they were my own! Please feel free to contact me at any point before, during, or after I watch your pup(or cat!). I am more than willing to answer any questions, or address any concerns you may have. About: I grew up with big dogs and currently have an 11-year-old black lab mix. I know how to get a puppy to go outside, and I know how to stimulate a senior dog that can't go on long walks. I would love to meet your dog and make them as comfortable as they can be! Your dog will be spending a great deal of time with me and Brisco, as we're both home during the workday! We like to go on long walks in the middle of the day and hang out outside enjoying the sunshine. We have a great deal of space for the dog to walk around inside, and a fenced in backyard for them to explore. We also have access to a creek in the 14 acre Christmas tree farm behind our home, where they can go on long walks on a leash with us and Brisco!

During our intro interview he asked all of the right questions...how does your dog like to be picked up,questions about their food,do they like belly rubs. Of course! While I was on vacation he sent photos of the pets at play and relaxing. Paul is a sweetheart of a person himself and I would totally trust my fur babies in his care.”
