I have many years of experience working with animals, from pet-sitting in my home, neighborhood, and campus to volunteering in animal shelters. I am a third-year environmental science student at Cornell University. I have experience administering oral and topical medication to pets, have cared for senior pets, and know how to safely remove ticks. I love hiking and will make sure your energetic pup gets all the exercise they need! I have a car and am happy to bring animals along on adventures. About: I’ve loved dogs ever since I was a child and I finally convinced my parents to rescue one a few years ago! I’ve been the sole caretaker of him since he joined our family and I’ve taken him through the process of crate training, basic commands, recall and potty training! My dog Mav is my best friend and my pride and joy so I would love to take care of yours just the same! I’m currently home from college in Boston and am looking for some part time dog walking and care. I am available all day on most weekdays and I am available on weekends at any time. I have a fenced yard with one dog that sleeps in an outside house. I am also used to crating dogs so I can fit the needs of your household!

About: I have taken care of pets since I was six years old, starting with a few fish. Then it developed into lizards, birds, hermit crabs and dogs. I love and care for all and make careful research to provide the best care. Pet care is a wonderful addition to my weekly routines! Walking dogs helps get my steps in and I especially love the longer walks. As a student, my Mondays are busy, but all other days are mostly free except for the late mornings. I keep alarms set at home for when to feed my pets so everyone knows when it’s breakfast and dinner time! Three times a day I will take my dog out for 30-minute to an hour long walk. As a 75lbs husky, my dog loved to pull on the leash but I was able to slowly train him out of that habit. Now he walks beside me and makes walking around the neighborhood a breeze!

About: I've taken care of dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities for a large portion of my life - from when I was a kid in Jersey until last year, when my sweet and challenging pit bull, Hudson passed away. The fourteen years I spent with him taught me everything I could possibly want to know about how to care for a dog. I love and miss him so. I'm not in a position to adopt a new dog of my own yet, but spending time with yours would be the next best thing! I have a part-time job at a local artist residency with flexible hours. I have my own car and am available for multiple services at various times each day of the week. I have a fenced in yard and a large dog crate, 2 dog beds, and plenty of toys.
