Lifelong caregiver of pets
I have been caring for pets my entire life. For my first job working at a local veterinary office to my undergraduate study of sustainable agriculture to today where I have three pets of my own and a hive of bees for whom I care deeply. I have experience caring for dogs with reactivity issues, working with puppies, caring for elderly animals, and anything in between.

I have a deep respect for the individual needs and preferences of your furry friends. Having been a teacher for young children and a caregiver of animals, my entire life I deeply understand. The individual needs that families have for their free friends and loved ones. I am very flexible with meeting any special needs that you have and look forward to spending time with your furry or feather friends!

Athena is great as always!
Athena was great! Even with a couple miscommunications, everything worked out. She went out of her way to make sure that our dog was comfortable with her before the walk. Our dog loved her immediately and was very happy and clearly well taken care of when we got back home.
Athena is amazing with our dog! She’s very thoughtful and provides us quick updates and photos when we check in. She’s our go-to dog sitter!

Athena is wonderful with our dog. Our pup requires some extra patience and understanding and Athena goes above and beyond to make sure our dog is comfortable.

Schedule
I am currently a graduate student at the SUNY College of environmental science and forestry studying landscape architecture. I often times have gaps in my schedule, leaving me several hours in the Ithaca area before I leave to go to Syracuse for my classes where I would love to care for your animals.
