“Ellie loves her outings with Nichole and I love knowing she is with someone I can trust to take care of her like she was her own pup! Nichole’s daughters are great with Ellie, too. :)”

“We really enjoyed having Alexandra as our dog walker! She took great care of our dog (and even played with our cat) when she came to our house for a couple days. We will definitely be asking her for help in the future!”

“We are so thankful for Kirsten. She was able to come over and walk our dog for a few days on short notice. We had no problem trusting her with our fur babies and she sent the cutest photos of them which definitely cheered me up while I was away at work!”

“Kait is awesome!! I am a teacher and she is always available when I have to stay after for work to walk Rue. She noticed she had goopy eyes and gave her a warm compress as well as took awesome photos! I don’t trust many with my fur baby; but I highly recommend Kait!! Thank you!!”

“This was our second time having Ashley help us while we were out of town and everything went so smooth! We got great updates and plenty of amazing photos of our dog while she was walking him. Highly recommend choosing Ashley to help with your animals!”

About: I’ve loved animals all my life. I have a very vivid memory of fishing with my father. We caught a fish the size of a silver dollar. Thrilled to throw it back my father stopped me and proceeded to cut the fish up for bait. I cried for so long that day. Looking back it’s pretty funny that it stayed with me. Presently that experience reverberates through my life in small cries during commercials featuring animals doing sweet/sad things, and big sobs in the theater when one is lost on screen. I’m an owner of 2 cats. Both are very sweet. One is more curious and the other more apprehensive (he hides when we have other animal visitors). I’ve raised 3 dogs and have fostered once before. I’ve worked at a Veterinary Clinic back in Texas and have experience with giving oral medication as well as subcutaneous injections. I give 2 shots to my own twice daily so I’m very familiar with it. I go to school full-time and I only live 7 minutes away from school! My classes during the week are usually 3 hours long with at least 3 hours in-between classes. Friday through Sunday my attention is all to your fur baby. I have a small open yard with a leash anchor so your pet can enjoy time outside with a sense of freedom and supervision during outside time. There are trails close to my house for walking and our small neighborhood has a 30 mph speed limit. If your pet is crate trained I can accommodate a crate in a large well lit kitchen or an equally well lit cozy upstairs bedroom. Either way under supervision your pet has full access to my couch and home to be as comfortable as they need. If they require smaller spaces my bedroom (cats not allowed upstairs) is free to roam as well. No human food is easily accessible in the house due to my own pets’ dietary issues. I’m happy to communicate most times of the day through text or app for updates on your loved one.
About: I have chosen to be a pet care provider as a way to earn money because I really enjoy being around animals. I grew up with two dogs and have been employed in Ithaca since 2011 in taking care of several families' cats and dogs, including one family for over 6 years. My responsibilities have included feeding and playing with pets, and walking dogs on a regular basis as well as when owners are on vacation. I have also stayed overnight at clients' homes. I have a reliable car, I answer texts promptly, and I will always be respectful of your home. My schedule is flexible so I try to accommodate your schedule. I can provide references upon request. I look forward to meeting you and your dogs. I am self employed with pet care as my primary business. I offer customized care, flexible hours including weekends and holidays. I can meet your needs on a one time or a regular recurring basis. Safety of the pet and the owner’s home is my number one priory. I also really enjoy spending time with your pet. I provide excellent communication and updates through text, photos, email, and videos.
“Glenna was so helpful in walking our dogs midday while I was traveling. At our meet and greet she was great with our scared pup so I felt confident in her stopping in. She was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Thank you for you help with Chip and Jules.”

About: I’ve worked with dogs for the last 15 years, mainly in the animal rescue scene. I can administer medication, as well. No dog is too young, or too old! I am a fairly flexible person, who can fit any needed pet care relatively easily into my schedule. I love being able to incorporate animals into my day-to-day. I prefer to care for pets in the home they are used to, as it creates less stress. Staying within a routine they are used to, helps as well
About: My whole life I have been into only 1 thing! And that is animals. By the age of 13 I was volunteering at a local horse rescue everyday after school and by the age of 18 I was volunteering at my local SPCA feeding and walking dogs. I went to college at SUNY Cobleskill for 4yrs and graduated with honors and received my bachelors degree in Animal Science. I studied many different training techniques with both horses and small animals, I even learned how to clicker train a chicken! ;) I’ve taken classes in care, management, training, behavior issues and many more. After graduation I became a riding instructor and horse trainer at a near by stable. I now run my own business as an equine dentist which leaves me with tons of extra time as I usually only schedule trips 1-2x a week! I currently have 4 horses, 2 cats, 1 really friendly German Shepherds, small Maltese, a ball python, and a Quaker Parrot named Echo. I have my own business! As an equine dentist I normally can only visit farms when owners are home so that means most weekend days are spent doing that while during the weekdays I’m totally free! Yard behind the house for the dogs, it is fenced off. We own a 3 bedroom so plenty of room for more animals! I am right in town so I can take dogs for walks or to the park. I share my house with my bf and his 10yr old sister who is my foster daughter. Also a huge animal person!

“Joey was great with Ruby. They were both attuned to Ruby’s needs and also enthusiastic about being together and sharing time for a walk. Joey has a curiosity about the experience of the animal that lends to a special type of compassion. Looking forward to having them walk Ruby again after I have my baby!”

About: I've taken care of dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities for a large portion of my life - from when I was a kid in Jersey until last year, when my sweet and challenging pit bull, Hudson passed away. The fourteen years I spent with him taught me everything I could possibly want to know about how to care for a dog. I love and miss him so. I'm not in a position to adopt a new dog of my own yet, but spending time with yours would be the next best thing! I have a part-time job at a local artist residency with flexible hours. I have my own car and am available for multiple services at various times each day of the week. I have a fenced in yard and a large dog crate, 2 dog beds, and plenty of toys. I'm an extremely trustworthy person and would treat any client's home with the utmost respect and care. I'm an active runner and would love to take your dog for hikes and walks with me.
About: Hi there! I’m Charlotte, and I have experience compassionately caring for animals for 14 years. I discovered my love for animals when I was a little kid when I walked my neighborhood dogs on a regular basis. Since then, I’ve walked & pet- sat many dogs, fostered animals, and grown up with my own cats and dogs. I’m certified in dog CPR and take your pet’s safety and well-being seriously. I am patient with pups who may find meeting other dogs/ adults/ children, etc., in unfamiliar territory anxiety-provoking. I will watch out for any anxious body language during our walk so that I can offer your dog calm and reassuring support to ensure they are safe and confident in our time spent together. I value clear, open communication and make it a point to always stay responsive to pet parents—I know how important peace of mind is when someone else is caring for your dog. I love to hike and be outdoors and am always looking for a fur-companion to join me. I look forward to giving your dog lots of well-deserved love and exercise! I am currently an online college student with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to play outside with your pup and get some fresh air! I have two cats, so I can only come to your home to care for your animals. I am currently unable to care for pets in my home. I am only providing dog walking services.

I met with Lauren, last minute, on a Monday afternoon. She and Penny, Cheagle (Beagle/Chihuahua mix), became fast friends. Lauren has been stopping in to take Penny for a walk and give her some dinner in the early evenings a few days a week when I work. Penny likes her visits with Lauren and is her silly self chasing bunnies etc. Lauren sends me pictures and updates on her after their visit. I think Penny looks forward to Lauren’s visits and I feel Penny is safe and happy with her.
