About: Hi, my name is Rachel and I graduated from SUNY Oswego with a degree in Childhood Education in 2017. I am now in graduate school at SUNY Cortland working towards a masters degree in recreation. I have always loved dogs and have been around them my whole life. I grew up with a lab/german shepherd mix named Bubba and got my first puppy at age 13, an 8 wk old beagle named Cody. I visited my aunt and uncle frequently when I was younger and always looked forward to taking care of their 2-3 dogs, 1 always being a seeing-eye dog in training. About: I’ve taken care of our family dogs, cats and chickens for over 20 years. Our animals are a part of our family and are treated as such! Good exercise, healthy food and regular grooming are essential to taking good care of our pets! Although I am a full time teacher, our dogs are walked twice daily. Our dogs are brushed out daily to maintain their coat. I ensure that our animals receive the care and attention needed to feel loved by and connected to us. About: Hello! I have been a dog groomer for over 10 years and a part time dog walker for 5. I have recently become more available to take on another client or two. I have done long term dog walking and dog sitting for a few local families in the Cortland area. They love me and I love them and their pups! I'm currently employed as a psrt-time dog groomer and have been at this facility for 10 years. 5 years ago I began dog sitting and walking for a few local families and now that my children are older I'm able to take on another client or two. My weekly schedule is flexible but Friday's I'm unavailble all day due to a full client scheudle that day! I have three dogs, a cat, and some chickens. All my animals are up to date and we have an electric fence to maintain their boundary. They get alot fo walking, running (especially the goldendoodle,) naps, and lovin'. My clients pets get walked twice a day, sometimes three if needed. I have one family who just likes me to go and let them out, play some fetch, and lots of belly rubs. I have been asked to take pets for walks, emergency pick ups from boarding facilities, and asked to do feeding schedules.

About: I love animals of all kinds! Dogs are my favorite. I like them more than people. I had a Weimeraner for nearly 15 years and I miss him everyday. Dog sitting has been very theroputic for me. Im not working at this time. I'm out of work until further notice do to a repedative motion injury to my right arm. I am available Monday- Friday. I live in an apartment house located near a school. I have a back yard but it is not fenced in. It's a very nice area to walk dogs.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
