About: I am an experienced dog handler currently working for a doggie daycare. I have also grown up owning and caring for both cats and dogs. I am extremely happy working with pets and can confidently perform everyday care. I currently work part time Thursday-Saturday, but I keep my schedule flexible throughout the rest of the week. I have my own transportation and manage my time efficiently. I currently live with and care for three cats: Fez, Chris, and KitKat. I have experience living with multiple dogs and cats at a time, so chaos is no issue. I can follow any feeding and activity schedule, give medication, and perform hygiene and grooming tasks like baths or trimming nails.

“During a six-week long training out of state, Marissa took care of my two fur babies as well as my house with the same love and care as if it were her own. She used her vet tech training to ensure my cats were provided the highest level of attention. Additionally, she provided continuous updates with the absolute cutest pictures to make sure I was never left guessing. If she lived closer to me, I would schedule her to care for my kitties all the time.”

Not only does he have a love for animals. He's also good with them. He's sweet enough for any dog but stern enough to insure their safety. Noah's also worked for a doggy day care. And is very familiar with watching animals as an actual job in addition too his off time, playing with dogs at home. Your dogs would be lucky too walk with noah!!”

“Claudia was amazingly professional and attentive to my two senior cats. I had to go out of town for 9 days and she stayed over, taking great care of them. For shorter trips away, I usually have friends stop in to check on them, but the cats are always stressed out when I get back. This time, they were pretty normal when I got home despite the longer time away, clearly having felt well taken care of the whole time!”

“Kylie did an amazing job! It was our first time leaving our pup and we were worried about how she would do. Kylie sent us photos and videos everyday. We told Kylie she could bring her own dog because Selkie loves other dogs. After a few days, it was apparent that Selkie had made a new friend and was having a great time. We were worried she would be depressed when we came home! Selkie went on walks and played and got great care. Our house was perfect when we got home. Kylie went above and beyond to make sure our animals got everything they needed, even took in some plants for me when there was a frost warning. We will definitely be calling Kylie again when we need a house sitter.”

“I have seen firsthand the happiness of an Abel and dog combo. Copper was Abel's last dog. He lived a long happy life and accompanied Abel everywhere that a dog was allowed. Abel is patient, loving, nurturing, responsible and fun when it comes to his dog family. I would trust him with my dog and my kid at the same time, which says so much coming from me. He's seriously such a good person and any dog would love to have him as a best friend.”

About: I have fed, walked, trained, groomed, and medicated family and friends' pets since I was 10 years old. I took a vet assistant course in highs school and have worked as a veterinary assistant and technician since 2020. I have my own small zoo at home made up of birds, mice, aquatics, a cat, and even some insects! I have a passion for animal welfare and am always doing research to provide my pets the best quality of life. I currently work full-time on weekdays but am available before 7AM after 4PM for quick drop-ins for things like potty breaks. My weekends are usually free starting on Friday evenings after 3PM. I am very careful to check my surroundings for anything that may cause harm to an animal or be an escape hazard. I make sure to ask pet owners about where their pet may require extra attention/supervision and their pets habits. I prefer to keep pets in their known surroundings to prevent further stress while pet sitting, but if needed, I may be able to care for certain animals in my own home. I have a cat, but she is well-behaved and NEVER alone with other animals, nor left in a situation in which she can harm or be harmed.

“Meriam and her daughter were incredible sitters for our two pups! Meriam agreed to sit over the holidays at our home which was a life saver and then she went above and beyond to make sure they were taken excellent care of! Our pups are pretty high maintenance with medical needs and quirks and I was beyond thrilled with the level of care and service that was provided for them. In every picture that was sent the pups looked happy and healthy :) She was extremely professional and communicated through messages and pictures of the boys often. My husband and I had such peace of mind knowing Meriam was there taking care of our home and pups just like we would have been! She worked around our holiday schedule and was super flexible to make sure the boys had everything they needed. Not only that but when we got home it looked immaculate!! We couldn't have asked for a better Rover experience with Meriam and will absolutely be reaching out again for our next trip away!”
