9. Jennifer S.
About: Hello! My name is Jennifer Smalls and I am in my third year as a Veterinary student at Cornell University. My primary interests lie in small animal medicine and shelter medicine. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages (puppy, mid-age, senior). I am comfortable and experienced with medicating and walking dogs. Including: insulin injections, oral medication, eye drops/lube, etc. I have owned many animals, including dogs, cats, sugar gliders, guinea pigs, lizards and geckos, so I am completely comfortable watching any other animals you may have as well. I am responsible and always trusted with any animal I take care of. I have plenty of references that I’d love to give upon request. I’d love to watch your animal(s)! Message me for more information or questions! I currently am in school full time and am working at a GP veterinary office. My schedule varies based on the week. Message for more information! I ensure that the pet feels safe and comfortable in their home. I try to be quiet and sweet to not make them too anxious. I am trained in fear-free techniques.

11. Ashley S.
“Ashley is attentive to instructions and conscious of my concerns. She listens carefully and learns quickly. I live near a busy road and I trust Ashley to make sure my dogs are safe outside. She respects our routines and keeps them leashed at all times. One of my dogs has to be medicated twice daily. Ashley handles medications responsibly and is comfortable administering pills. Ashley is clean, organized and proactive. She cleans up after the dogs, even when they make a mess, out of consideration for my household. I appreciate her steady help and kindness. She is a busy student and she takes ALL of her responsibilities seriously. I know my dogs are in good hands when I leave them with her. She gives me peace of mind!”

She was great at keeping us updated, asking questions, and paying really close attention to the health and happiness of both our cat and dog! We will for sure be coming back to ask her to watch them in the future because she is very dependable and trustworthy.”

18. Clara M.
“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to highly recommend my daughter Clara as a pet sitter: showing an early disposition to care for animals, she rescued and rehabilitated our pet cat that accompanied us for many years, and also trained and cared for our high energy hunting dog since her adoption as a puppy until her last day. This “animal whisperer”, as she’s called by many, is now on her way to becoming a vet, an indication of her strong commitment and ability to care for animals❤️”

19. Lauren B.
About: I have taken care of cats and dogs in my neighborhood since I was 13. Whenever I am home for breaks I am the first person our family friends call to petsit! I have grown up with dogs my whole life and enjoy taking care and being around dogs and cats. I am currently a full-time graduate student at Ithaca College. I have class 2:00-4:30pm on Mondays, 8:15 am- 2:40 pm on Tuesdays, 10:00-1:50 pm Wednesdays, 8:15-11:45 am Thursdays, and 9:30-12:00pm Fridays. So, weeknights and weekends I will have more availability. My schedule is pretty flexible other than my classes. I live with two other roommates who are very welcoming of cats and dogs. I live right behind a trail, which is perfect for walks. I can easily crate your dog if needed.

20. Sarah W.

“Sarah was so amazing with my two dogs. They are a little slow to warm up and she was patient with them and loved on them just as I would. She walks them and sends me updates as much as I need!! If I lived here full time, she would be my go to!”
