“This was our first boarding experience with Hiedi, and it could not have gone better. I was concerned my dog might be anxious being left overnight, but much the opposite. He was over the top excited to play with the other boarder and day care dogs. Hiedi keeps her experienced professional eyes on them, so you never need to worry one bit. He came home wonderfully tired out, but more importantly happy. He ate well, slept well, and was clearly very comfortable there. He wants to know when we are going back!! I will be using Hiedi again. So nice to feel you can go away and your dog is cared for just as well as in your own home.”

About: For any and all services I provide I will be seeking guidance from the pet owner for preferred handling as people treat their pets differently (allowed on furniture, leash vs off leash, feeding times, etc.) Most of my pet sitting experience has been at their home and i have cared for up to four dogs and two cats (plus chickens and fish). I have also babysat for a cat and a few different dogs at my place. I enjoy an active lifestyle and live near state lands so lots of hiking is usually on the agenda (for dogs anyway). I recently put down my aging cat and have found life is lonely without him, but I am not ready to replace him just yet. Rover seems like a great way to get my fix and earn some extra money along the way. I work full time Monday through Friday and have hour long lunch breaks if midday breaks are needed for your pets. Weekends are for serious play! I live on a low traffic road near a state forest. Access to trails from my back door and a large (unfenced) yard to roam. When staying in someone’s home I treat it like my own with care.

About: I have always lived with pets! :) I grew up with dogs Ella and Koikkie when I was little, and loved walking and playing with them. In college I couldn't have a dog, but I did get my first cat, Oliver. He was more or less feral when we found him but with lots of love and food, he became a lap cat with a happy home on a farm. Two years ago I moved to Ithaca, and have two 3-year old Siberian cats, Nadja and Moose. They need a lot of exercise and play which includes taking them out on leashes to walk around the block. I also frequently cat sit for my friends who have a mix of young and old cats.

About: I've cared for dogs of different sizes over the years and I love to cuddle, walk, and pamper pups. We have a fenced in back yard and I like to take long walks with dogs if they're up for it. We have a 4 year old boxer/hound mix who is sweet with people but not great with other dogs. We keep him away from guest dogs, there's lots of room in the house for each dog to have their own space and still get lots of love from me and the family. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I take breaks through the day to care for puppies, whether that's a quick potty break, fun walk, or play time with balls and toys. When boarding, I make sure pups get any meds they need, plenty of time outside, and snuggles on the couch (if they're the snuggling type). I know some dogs need longer or shorter walks, and I make adjustments based on what they need.

About: I’ve always been a dog person all my life. I just have a way with dogs. Patience is the best way to try your animals. Family members rely on me to feed their animals. Currently working at a grocery store so my hours are always different. When I finish working though I head straight over to where I need to go. Sometimes I head over before I have to work too. I take the animals outside when they need to go to the bathroom. While I’m out there I watch carefully over them. I comfort and pay attention to them. I talk to them like they are humans.

About: I have had Pets my entire life and have taken care of them since I can remember. I take care of family friends Dogs and Cats. I’ve house sitter for them and taken their dogs for walks for years. I love treating each pet with the same level of love they would get from their owners since they aren’t there. I do dog walking services around my neighborhood and enjoy being able to look out for our furry friends. I have been taking care of pets all my life. I am home for the summer from college and without a full time job I am able to be of pet care assistance at almost anytime. I believe that taking care of pets is a high priority in life and it deserves the same time and care as any other job. I believe that all pets deserve love and care the same way their owners would care for them. When an owner is not with the pet they deserve extra care to make them feel loved. I enjoy spending time with pets and giving them my time just as much as they may enjoy it. Pets are a major priority in my life and I think they deserve attention and care as much as we can give them.

About: I have cat/dog-sitted for a couple of friends on multiple occasions. They were extremely satisfied with my service. Additionally, I have four cats at home! So, I am familiar with taking care of cats. I am a veterinary student at Cornell University. As of currently, I am available all days of the week in the morning as well as the evening. I always make sure the fur baby has fresh water and food. Additionally, I keep the space clean and tidy if the pet made a mess (e.g. near the litter box or water bowls). Lastly, I give new pets time and space to get used to me. I don't invade their personal space and wait for them to make the initiative.

I specialize in dependable drop-in visits and attentive walks in your pet’s familiar environments. My car is set up with a dog hammock and pet safety seatbelt to transport your pupper to a nearby park or trail if desired! I prioritize safe and secure leash handling, stay aware of surroundings by avoiding headphone use, and tailor the pace and distance to your dog’s comfort level and energy. I understand how important consistency and routine are, and I carefully follow all feeding, medication, exercise, and care instructions exactly as provided. “This was our first boarding experience with Hiedi, and it could not have gone better. I was concerned my dog might be anxious being left overnight, but much the opposite. He was over the top excited to play with the other boarder and day care dogs. Hiedi keeps her experienced professional eyes on them, so you never need to worry one bit. He came home wonderfully tired out, but more importantly happy. He ate well, slept well, and was clearly very comfortable there. He wants to know when we are going back!! I will be using Hiedi again. About: For any and all services I provide I will be seeking guidance from the pet owner for preferred handling as people treat their pets differently (allowed on furniture, leash vs off leash, feeding times, etc.) Most of my pet sitting experience has been at their home and i have cared for up to four dogs and two cats (plus chickens and fish). I have also babysat for a cat and a few different dogs at my place. I enjoy an active lifestyle and live near state lands so lots of hiking is usually on the agenda (for dogs anyway). I recently put down my aging cat and have found life is lonely without him, but I am not ready to replace him just yet. Rover seems like a great way to get my fix and earn some extra money along the way. I work full time Monday through Friday and have hour long lunch breaks if midday breaks are needed for your pets. Weekends are for serious play! I live on a low traffic road near a state forest. Access to trails from my back door and a large (unfenced) yard to roam. When staying in someone’s home I treat it like my own with care.

“Jennifer watched my dog for 4 days while I was out of then. We did a meet and greet ahead of time to make sure all dogs got along, which they did! They also have separate areas for dogs that would prefer not to overly socialize. My dog had a wonderful time playing, swimming and taking walks with Jennifer and crew. Jennifer was great at communicating daily and sent lots of pictures and videos. It was clear that nacho was having the best time. I definitely recommend Jennifer and will absolutely book again.”
