I am a Fear Free certified, full time dog handler at my own daycare, pet lounge, and overnight facility, Acorn Dog Lodge llc. I am excellent with animals who have special needs, administering medications, and elderly pups. My profile is not always open to new clients. This is the only reason I am not a "star sitter". Care providers must book a certain number if new clients in a time period to maintain star sitter status. I prioritize quality care over quantity of clients so I am unable to retain that badge. (Just fyi)

Hiedi is the best! It was our first time boarding with Hiedi, she was a recommendation from 2 different friends that have boarded with her for years. She has a great space. She is so dedicated to the dogs. She sent amazing photo updates all throughout our stay. She cuddled with my dog who is a doodle and loves a good cuddle. We are so grateful to have found her + will use her as our main boarder when needed.
Hiedi’s is the only place that I have left my pup and not felt one minute of guilt over. I know she is 100% safe, and having a wonderful time with her pals there. It truly is like she is on vacation, I’ve used other people, and it basically felt like I was parking my dog until I got back. At Hiedi’s, I doubt that she even thinks about me for one second. And that’s a great thing!
Heidi is the best! We have an older guy with extra needs and we are so thankful to have someone like Heidi who we can trust. Thank you!
I usually travel with my dog, but somethings it’s just not possible, and that’s when Hiedi comes to the rescue! I feel 100% great about leaving my pup with Hiedi——it’s like a little vacation for her, too. She has so much fun there, and I don’t worry about her for a second. I’ve never had such peace of mind about boarding before, and it’s a GREAT feeling!
Hiedi is the absolute best, she is so intuitive about what the pups need. I always feel like she will take care of my pups just like they were her own!!! She sends lots of pictures and always keeps us informed, we couldn't be happier!
Once again Molly had a blast at her home away from home! This time Molly went with her little sister Hazel (6 1/2 months)... Hiedi was wonderful with them both, I was worried about Hazel staying, but Hiedi eased my mind with pictures and updates. Both our girls had an amazing time, we are already on the books for next month! As always Hiedi is the best ♥️.

Schedule
Animal care is my full time occupation. I work from my home. I have the time, patience, and experience to care for dogs who require specialized attention, dogs with separation anxiety, and dogs with high energy.

Every dog/ family is different and communication is the best way to ensure I am giving your pet the care they are accustomed to! I provide enrichment, play, positive reinforcement, undivided attention, praise, and patience.

A typical day
Your dog(s) will enjoy family time and cuddling, just like my own beagle. We take walks on our 2 acres of well tended country land and free play in the fenced yard space. I work with her on being polite using treats and praise, and of course she gets all the play time and pets she asks for. Your dog(s) will spend the day exactly as mine does.

- There are no wrong answers! I just need to know your dogs specific likes and dislikes. Words they understand, and activities they enjoy. How do you distract your dog if they are being naughty? Does your dog have recal (come when called)? Are there any specific behaviors you want encouraged or discouraged? Does your dog have any special needs, or dietary, or physical restrictions? Are they up to date on vaccines?
