About: Just this year, I’ve had 6-7 successful sits with both friends/family and also one on THS. Some were dogs, cats or both. Some were very low maintenance and some of these pets had very specific needs/medication due to health issues or issues that come with age. My longest sit was looking after my friend’s 2 cats & home for 12 days and then other time for 1 week. I also house & dog sat for my friend while she was in Italy- her dog Percy is elderly and needed very specific care with food and meds. About: Ithaca-area house sitting and drop-in visits. I’ve cared for my own dog since he was a puppy, and being a dog dad to a 110-lb giant has taught me a lot. He unfortunately has a range of medical issues, from dysplasia to environmental allergies, so I’m attentive and sensitive to each pet’s individual needs and concerns. I’ll care for your pet with the same attention I give my own I work a 9–5 during the week but have some flexibility to work from home. I’m happy to stop by during the day if your pet needs a midday potty break or a little company. I’m currently only offering house-sitting services. I’ll carefully follow your instructions to make sure your pet is well cared for, whether that includes dietary restrictions, mobility needs, or neighborhood dogs to watch out for, etc.

About: I happily work with dogs of all sizes and personalities! Dogs with lots of energy, low energy, separation anxiety, or even a bite history are all welcome to work with me, I just have to do housesitting for special cases. I attained purple level (highest level) dog walker at the Tompkins County SPCA. I am trained in dog handling, dog training, and I am very thorough. I have been volunteering at the shelter since January 2019, and I have 10 years of cat care experience. During my dog sitting, I have been able to train dogs different commands including but not limited to heel, sit, down, turn, paw, and roll over. Additionally, I am able to help train your dog to behave on and off leash. If your dog tends to pull at your leash during walks, I can certainly help with that. I can train your dog with aims toward getting them to behave well off-leash and to come to you when called for. I am currently located in Ithaca, NY. I finished my PhD and postdoc at Cornell with focuses in bioinorganic chemistry and bioinformatics. I now work in town as a research engineer at a company that is dog friendly! Please let me know if your pup would benefit from office time. :) I have my own super high energy dog, and we get lots of physical and mental exercise. We go on walks, runs, and lots of play dates. Pets are slowly introduced and treated whenever something positive happens. I do an in-depth discussion with my clients and always do behavioral tests. These tests allow me to see how to best provide support for each pet.

About: I have years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all kinds! I grew up with large breed dogs, cats, hamsters, fish and more so I’m very comfortable caring for animals of all sizes and temperaments. In addition to my home being filled with animals growing up, i have spent several years volunteering at my local cat shelter. I take pride in knowing im that person my friends and family can always count on to watch their beloved pet while away. Whether your pet needs long walks, active playtime, cuddles, a strict routine or calm companionship, I adapt to their individual needs as well as yours. Booking with me will include not only peace of mind knowing your pet is in great hands but you can count on receiving TONS of pet updates, photos & videos while your away. With my entire heart, your pets will be treated like family with me! 💗 I am self employed and so my hours are extremely flexible. It allows me to build my schedule how i need and so i am able to accommodate as necessary. My home has no other pets so its a purfect oasis for your pet while you’re away. Or if youd prefer i come to your place, ill treat it like my own!
