About: I have had dogs and cats since I was a kid and have always enjoyed looking after and caring for animals. My girlfriend and I don't have any pets at the moment and have been housing our friends pets when they are traveling. Hoping to offer our comfortable house to other pets while their people are traveling! I currently work from 9-5 a short bus ride from my house. I have a lot of flexibility to go home for lunch during the day and check on our house guests. On the weekends we are usually around the house and enjoy going for walks along the gorge trails. We have a three-quarters fenced in backyard for quality fetch time and a large house for the pets to roam in. We have a very open living and dining room for running around and chasing toys! When I visit houses to check on pets I like to stay and play with them for a bit. Make sure they are comfortable and getting some fun in during the day!

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and dogsitted for family and friends as well. I am an easy going, attentive and caring person, who will never leave the dogs side! They are in good company with me I’m home the entire day, and wherever I go, the dog goes with me! To the park, walk to the supermarket, to the beach, coffee dates, or simply just relaxing at home. They will always be in good company and constantly attended to! I have a big house very suitable for any size dog, including German Shepards! (I used to have one) I also have a large beautiful garden/ courtyard in which they can safely play with no traffic or problems, and a park right next door! I go running daily so if they’re active dogs they can join me with great pleasure! Or just a long leisurely walk, I’m quite an active person and anywhere I go the dog comes with me!
About: I’ve had pets my whole life (cats and dogs). Currently, my family has 2 dogs and 3 cats. Living away from home for college is difficult without my pets, so I would love to tend to yours as I am missing mine! She has a great deal of knowledge regarding behavioral and medical care of animals and dogs in particular. She studies animal health and behavioral issues as well. I wanted to make sure that she and my dog were a good fit so we set up a meet and greet. Everything I had sensed from our conversations was accurate. She was very kind and gentle upon meeting my dog, who is typically anxious with strangers. He took to her right away, sidling up to her and giving her his special mini-howl of approval. That was truly unusual for my dog, it usually takes him much longer to offer up that particular greeting. I went on my trip feeling a little bit better. I had given Mariana millions of specific instructions in advance and tried to set up the stay so it would be easy for her. I was still worried, to be honest. Nevertheless, as Mariana sent me photos and videos, I could see that my dog was happy and thriving. Despite my having spotty cell phone service, we were able to communicate very effectively and resolved any questions or concerns without difficulty. Mariana was very responsive throughout. When I returned home, my dog was healthy and content, my house was neat and tidy and I was very thrilled to have found a person like Mariana, whom I could trust to keep my dog happy and healthy.
