“Caterina proved to be the perfect sitter for my senior dog Max. She sent updates and it was evident that she truly cares about what she does. Max came home happy and energetic—not always the case with some boarding kennels. I cannot recommend her more highly, and Max and I look forward to his staying with her again.”

“Alex is a pleasure to deal with. Great communication and I got multiple pictures every day of my pup. Alex is very comfortable with the dogs and is comfortable with Jet. This is Jets’s third visit!”

“Arya did a great job as always. He is knowledgeable and amazing with the dogs. He sends plenty of videos. My Kylo always loves his time there. I will keep sending him back to Arya whenever my pup needs a place to stay!”

“I could not have been happier with Destiny. She is very professional and did a great job taking care of Bruiser. She sent me daily updates of how he was doing along with pictures to show how happy he was. It was so much better than leaving him at a kennel and I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing he was well taken care of! I will definitely use Destiny again!”
About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs my whole life—from my childhood golden retriever, to my first mini poodle in college, and now my French bulldog puppy. Having a Frenchie has taught me how to care for dogs with sensitive stomachs, skin allergies, and special needs. I cook fresh, balanced meals with real protein and veggies for every meal, and I treat every pup like my own—gentle, patient, and a little spoiled. Whether it’s walks, cuddles, or home-cooked meals, I make sure each dog feels safe, loved, and completely at home. I’m an MBA student at Cornell and have classes about three times a week from Monday to Thursday from 9am to 1pm. My boyfriend is home during the day until I return in the afternoon, so there’s always someone available to care for and walk the pups. We’re both huge dog lovers and spend most weekends at home since I usually have assignments to work on — which means plenty of time for cuddles, walks, and playtime with your furry family member. Your pup’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. I have a French bulldog with sensitive skin and allergies, so I’m extremely careful about hygiene, food, and playtime routines. I also have a bit of OCD when it comes to cleaning — my home is spotless, sanitized daily, and always pet-safe. Every pup has their own cozy, comfortable space to relax, and I can easily follow any feeding or medication instructions. Whether your dog needs fresh meals, extra attention, or a calm environment, they’ll be cared for with the same love and detail I give my own.
“Laura is the best! She provides photos and updates in a timely manner and clearly shows so much love and appreciation for the pups. I never have a worry when my pup is in her hands - she is absolutely the best sitter!”

“Rose was great and very easy to deal with. She took great care of our Griff and he loved playing ball and was tired out. I would definetely reccommend her. Very friendly and appreciative and loves animals.”

“Andrea took great care of my lil pup on her first overnights without me. She was communicative, has a fenced in yard, a great dog walking neighborhood and I would love to have Rox stay with her for future trips.”

“Excellent rover. Charlie had a blast playing with their girls and other clients dogs. They made sure he got his one on one time and others needs as I had requested. Very knowledgeable on dog training and caring for them. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a Rover sitter. Will most likely schedule there again if available when need. Thank you Ashley & Brian.”

“They sent pictures each day, and my pup was happy and healthy (and thankfully tired from a long day of playing) when I picked her up! Will definitely book again!”
“Susan took great care of our little dog! She was very loving and sent pictures regularly. She is also very responsive to texts and calls. I would definitely book her services again.”

“Chantal was amazing with my pets! She kept me updated the entire time and made me feel at ease while they were in her care. They came back happy and well taken care of. I would absolutely book with her again!”

“We cannot say enough wonderful things about Kyle and Max! They took amazing care of our golden retriever, Harry, for five days and treated him like he was part of their family. From the moment we dropped him off, we knew he was in great hands. Kyle and Max kept Harry entertained, active, and happy with plenty of adventures, playtime, and attention. The photos and updates they sent gave us so much peace of mind and made it clear just how much love and care they were giving him. Harry came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It was obvious that they took the time to get to know his personality and made sure he felt comfortable and loved while we were away. If you're looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own, we highly recommend Kyle and Max. We are incredibly grateful for everything they did for Harry and would not hesitate to book with them again! Thank you both for giving Harry such a fun-filled and loving home away from home! He misses you already.🐾❤️”

“Very friendly, Coco enjoyed her stay. Carolina sent updates and pictures to me at least 2 times a day. I recommend her highly. I also suggest to meet beforehand to let her puppy get used to your dog. Het dog is kept separately in the house, but the two dogs got along and hung out together.”

“Katherine was great with my dog. She was very accommodating to my dog's needs and sent multiple daily photos and updates while we were away. We will use Katherine again when we need a dog sitter.”

About: Hi I have experienced with all size dog and breed through my veterinary assistance experience. I also have a Black Lab her name is Lisa, and she is turning four years old. I am a full time student at Cornell. I have a back yard for puppy play time. I take boarding, sitting, and walking as long as the schedule fits. Also I can do same day appointment to support our pet parents. I have fenced yard. Extra leashes and harness. We are in a dog friendly neighborhood. My dog is 80lb so I can handle dog who pull and large size.
About: I've had dogs my entire life from puppies to rescues! I've also been a grooming salon manager in Ithaca for 9 years. I've cared for many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks all dogs have and I love them all the same. I have two dogs of my own Luke and Yoda. Luke is a 6 year old lab mix around 35 lbs. He is very loving and playful. Yoda is a 5 year old miniature fox terrier mix who has unlimited energy and is the sweetest snuggler. I am home all day with my baby and two dogs of my own so I can give the same care to some extra dogs! I treat every dog as if they are my own. I have lots of extra blankets to make sure they have there own space (i do recommend to bring some of there stuff like blankets, beds, and toys to make them more comfortable) and have extra room to separate them if they need to be alone. I will always make sure they are comfortable, happy, loved, and safe!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Dryden
Caterina is so warm and hospitable. You can tell she loves taking care of our pups! She is very organized and specific so that things run smoothly and the dogs don’t get stressed. They have full run of a part of the house and get lots of opportunities to play together outside or take a walk, she says. The “meet and greet”was new to me, but I see the value. Caterina tuned into Bogie from the start. TIP: It would be helpful if ROVER and/or the pet sitter specified the TIME WINDOWS for dropping off and picking up. Also is the “daily” charge for EACH NIGHT or for EACH 24-HR period? ALSO when a person requests “3 nights” (or days), it is the practice of hotels is to CHECK OUT on the FOURTH ONE BY A CERTAIN TIME. ROVER really caused me angst when they messed up my request for THREE NIGHTS and Kyle scheduled pickup BEFORE the third night. The SITE IS VERY “UNFRIENDLY” about modifying a booking. I was desperately trying to figure it out for over an hour and then I texted Caterina and she said I could have just contacted HER! What a waste of my time and a lot of frustration. ROVER NEEDS TO FIX ALL THIS. I can’t recommend it the way it is now. I was beside myself two days before my vacation trying to get things corrected. Pickup and Drop off times were never specified. People picking me up for the trip had to change their time. It would have been helpful if I knew what kind of window I had w/ pet sitter. HAD TO DRIVE an EXTRA 80 mins that morning, then jump in car and go the 6 hrs north right by her place. Found out (after the fact) as early as 4am was good. WISH I HAD KNOWN!! Not sure where it is written… I wish it was specified somewhere; it would eliminate much unnecessary back and forth texting to get the logistics down.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
