“Ollie seemed to be very happy when I picked him up!”
2. Alex E.
“Alex and his family took great care of our extremely high energy dog. She went for walks, played with other dogs, and came home exhausted. Alex sent lots of pictures and updates too. Thank you!”
3. Ashley K.
“Ashley and her family provided a home away from home for my dog, Lola, while she received radiation treatment at Cornell. Throughout her stay, Lola was happy and comfortable and Ashley was responsible and reliable. Ashley drove Lola to and from treatment everyday Monday - Friday, administered medication, spoke with the veterinarians, and followed through on all of the recommendations for Lola. It was a stressful time for me because Lola was going through a lot, and I couldn’t be there to comfort her. Ashley assured me everyday with messages and pictures of Lola. We originally booked with Ashley for the first week of Lola’s treatment, but rebooked for the following two weeks. I cannot recommend Ashley enough! Lola’s treatment would not have been possible without her!!”
4. Lorie S.
“Lorie watched our Leo for a week and half. I was very hesitant leaving him with just anyone or anyplace. Lorie and I met prior to the agreement and let Leo meet her and her dogs to see how he would be. The meet went very well and we booked her. During that time she sent pics and videos of Leo and made me feel at ease that he seemed to be having fun and had adjusted being there. She also gave Leo his meds he needed and special meal I prep that most places wouldn't do. I would definitely recommend Lorie to watch your beloved pets. She is excellent with caring for them while you are away. ?”
5. Susan T.
“Charlie came back happy and healthy! Susan kept us well updated without needing to prompt, which was much appreciated while we were tied up on vacation it was nice to see he was being well cared for.”
6. Ashley S.
“Ashley and her family were wonderful hosts for our dog, Dudley. He came back from his 4-day stay in great condition. He had good walks and lots of attention. He is a bit idiosyncratic in the way of older dogs, and that did not phase them. We really appreciated their loving care. Plus, Dudley got along excellently with their sweet spaniel, Wally! Ashley kept us well up-dated on his activity, which was reassuring, because it's hard leaving quirky old dogs. We highly recommend Ashley and her family.”

About: I have taken care of furry friends of neighbors, friends and family for about 10 years. I currently work at a veterinary clinic and am also studying animal science at Cornell University. Hi! For house sitting: I prefer NOT to stay at your house at night. However, here is my schedule for most of my clients; feed/play/take out around 6-7am, feed/play/take out around 5-6pm, and let them out between 9-10pm again. Although this is the scheduled I follow, I would love to know your schedule with your pets and will try to accommodate them as best as I can! For Boarding: Your pup(s) will join into my family and interact with my two friendly dogs. There is a bell on the door so they can ring it to go out (if trained to do so). I hike almost everyday with my own dogs and typically take any dog that is boarding with me along. My dogs are rarely left alone but when they are, they are crated and I ask that dogs staying with me are also crate trained. All dogs that I board are introduced slowly to my own personal dogs and are closely watched until I feel it is safe for them all to be together. Please let me know if your dog has any type of food/toy aggression before hand so I can accommodate! Drop Off/Pick up is between 6:30-7:30am and 6-8pm the day of. Please reach out with any questions! For drop-ins/house sitting: I am happy to keep your pets on their schedule as best as I can weather that be keeping them in a crate during the day/at night or letting them roam free in the house, ect. I am willing to do anything that keeps your pets happy and stress free while you are away including walks, hikes, playing fetch, or just hanging out on the couch! PLEASE READ THE SCHEDULE THAT I FOLLOW IN THE TYPICAL DAY SECTION! For Boarding: I have two of my own dogs that are friendly so your dog will just become a part of my small pack while you are away. 8. Kyle J.
“Kyle was great for our young blue heeler Shadow! Our dog needs time to warm up to new people, and Kyle was very comfortable with that process. Upon first meeting, Shadow growled at him and snapped at the air a bit but Kyle was not bothered and knew to ignore Shadow at first. After some time, Shadow was asking him for belly rubs. Before leaving Shadow with Kyle we arranged two visits between him and the dog to make sure they were friends. Kyle was very accommodating and happy to take that extra time out of his day. I really appreciated his willingness to do that. During their time together, Kyle sent photos and updates every day. Right away from the photos we could see that our pup was relaxed and settling into spending time with his new human friend in the house and on walks. Shadow even got to sleep in bed and sit on couches (like he does at home...) Knowing everything was OK for both of them really helped us enjoy our trip. Big thanks to Kyle!”
9. Michaella D.
“Michaella was excellent! Having never stayed with someone else before, our dog was quickly very comfortable with Michaella. She sent plenty of photo updates and clearly gave our dog lots of love and attention. We would definitely book Michaella again in the future.”
10. Andrea I.
“Andrea took great care of my lil pup on her first overnights without me. She was communicative, has a fenced in yard, a great dog walking neighborhood and I would love to have Rox stay with her for future trips.”
11. Erin D.
“I left my pups (for the first time ever) at Erin’s and I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience! I was working a 12 hour night shift and she gave me updates on the pups before they settled in for the night, allowing me to fully focus at work knowing they were warm and safe. My pups were able to sleep with Erin and her partner in their room (which the pups are used to doing at home - Caya loves snuggles)! They did a great job handling Reggie’s anxieties and they had a 17 year old Lab that my pups got to run around and socialize with as well. I will definitely be using them in the future. Very sweet people, nice fenced in yard and a very warm and dog friendly home! Thank you guys again from the bottom of my heart ❤️”
12. Claudia H.
“Our puppy loved spending time with Claudia! She is kind, loving and welcomed our pet into her home. We received updates and photos throughout her stay, and there was no question that she was in good hands. We would definitely contact Claudia again!”
13. Sheila W.
“This was our first time using Rover and I have to say it was very pleasant. Sheila was great Even when I was having difficulty booking she was easy to reach with answers. We really appreciate the fact that we met outside which allowed both our dogs to meet and greet on neutral grounds. Sending us a picture showing that Mila had found a comfortable spot and settled in was great. We are happy to have found someone close to our home, who will make it easier when we have those last minute plans and won’t have so scramble to find good care for Mila when are away. We will definitely ask Sheila to board Mila in the future. Biagio and Kudzai”

15. Chantal C.
“Chantal was a fantastic sitter for our puppy, who struggles with separation anxiety. She provided exceptional care, making him feel right at home and showing remarkable patience throughout his overnight stay. Her dedication and kindness were truly comforting to us. We highly recommend Chantal to anyone seeking a caring and attentive pet sitter. We're grateful for her service and will definitely seek her help again.”
16. Laura M.
“Laura was amazing! She kindly and thoughtfully offered to meet me at the dog park since she was going there anyways, which was closer for me than her house. She sent cute pic updates. She even returned Kaya to me with some homemade treats to take with us. Kaya is. A high energy dog and needs her exercise. I could tell she got lots of exercise because she slept our entire ride home. I highly recommend you book your pup with her! Will definitely book again when I’m in the area.”
17. Ashley C.

About: I have fed, walked, trained, groomed, and medicated family and friends' pets since I was 10 years old. I took a vet assistant course in highs school and have worked as a veterinary assistant and technician since 2020. I have my own small zoo at home made up of birds, mice, aquatics, a cat, and even some insects! I have a passion for animal welfare and am always doing research to provide my pets the best quality of life. I currently work full-time on weekdays but am available before 7AM after 4PM for quick drop-ins for things like potty breaks. My weekends are usually free starting on Friday evenings after 3PM. I am very careful to check my surroundings for anything that may cause harm to an animal or be an escape hazard. I make sure to ask pet owners about where their pet may require extra attention/supervision and their pets habits. I prefer to keep pets in their known surroundings to prevent further stress while pet sitting, but if needed, I may be able to care for certain animals in my own home. I have a cat, but she is well-behaved and NEVER alone with other animals, nor left in a situation in which she can harm or be harmed.
20. Kylie P.

She takes such great care of my pets while I am on vacation, it makes me feel like my pets are having a vacation too! ”
