“Excellent communication and dog-loving household for boarding. Our dog was well taken care of by Cate and family, who welcomed her along with their 2 nice dogs. Great location for us. Everything worked out great and we'll be returning soon!”

“Alex is a pleasure to deal with. Great communication and I got multiple pictures every day of my pup. Alex is very comfortable with the dogs and is comfortable with Jet. This is Jets’s third visit!”

“Arya was wonderful with my dog Penny. Penny hasn't been boarded in a while because of Covid, and a few months ago she was attacked by another dog. So she was very nervous when she first arrived there. But Arya was patient and reassuring, and she settled in. He has a huge piece of property where he walks the dogs several times a day. I will definitely board Penny with Arya again!”

“Destiny is amazing! She’s great about sending updates/pictures and my pup is always in great shape and super happy after staying with Destiny. Thank you for everything, Destiny!”

About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs my whole life—from my childhood golden retriever, to my first mini poodle in college, and now my French bulldog puppy. Having a Frenchie has taught me how to care for dogs with sensitive stomachs, skin allergies, and special needs. I cook fresh, balanced meals with real protein and veggies for every meal, and I treat every pup like my own—gentle, patient, and a little spoiled. Whether it’s walks, cuddles, or home-cooked meals, I make sure each dog feels safe, loved, and completely at home. I’m an MBA student at Cornell and have classes about three times a week from Monday to Thursday from 9am to 1pm. My boyfriend is home during the day until I return in the afternoon, so there’s always someone available to care for and walk the pups. We’re both huge dog lovers and spend most weekends at home since I usually have assignments to work on — which means plenty of time for cuddles, walks, and playtime with your furry family member. Your pup’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. I have a French bulldog with sensitive skin and allergies, so I’m extremely careful about hygiene, food, and playtime routines. I also have a bit of OCD when it comes to cleaning — my home is spotless, sanitized daily, and always pet-safe. Every pup has their own cozy, comfortable space to relax, and I can easily follow any feeding or medication instructions. Whether your dog needs fresh meals, extra attention, or a calm environment, they’ll be cared for with the same love and detail I give my own.
“Laura was wonderful and took great care of our dogs! She was very diligent and took lots of pics for us, so we were reassured our dogs were happy and well taken care of. We will definitely be using Laura again!”

“Rose provided a caring , delightful home for our Seamus while we were away . She communicated beautifully, was so responsive and outstanding in every possible respect. We’re super grateful and recommend her heartily , and will seek her out when we go away again.”

“Andrea took great care of my lil pup on her first overnights without me. She was communicative, has a fenced in yard, a great dog walking neighborhood and I would love to have Rox stay with her for future trips.”

“Excellent rover. Charlie had a blast playing with their girls and other clients dogs. They made sure he got his one on one time and others needs as I had requested. Very knowledgeable on dog training and caring for them. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a Rover sitter. Will most likely schedule there again if available when need. Thank you Ashley & Brian.”

“These three are educated and thoughtful enough to make pet owners who are nervous, apprehensive, and even sad about leaving their fur babies feel comfortable. This dynamic is really special for pups, more like a social outing. We received pictures of our pup enjoying light training, playing with new puppy friends, and relaxing in complete comfort. My husband and I were sad dropping her off for the weekend and ended up being able to complete enjoy our weekend getaway because of Aaron, Kaylee, and Valerie.”

“Charlie came back happy and healthy! Susan kept us well updated without needing to prompt, which was much appreciated while we were tied up on vacation it was nice to see he was being well cared for.”
“Chantal was amazing with my pets! She kept me updated the entire time and made me feel at ease while they were in her care. They came back happy and well taken care of. I would absolutely book with her again!”

“We cannot say enough wonderful things about Kyle and Max! They took amazing care of our golden retriever, Harry, for five days and treated him like he was part of their family. From the moment we dropped him off, we knew he was in great hands. Kyle and Max kept Harry entertained, active, and happy with plenty of adventures, playtime, and attention. The photos and updates they sent gave us so much peace of mind and made it clear just how much love and care they were giving him. Harry came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It was obvious that they took the time to get to know his personality and made sure he felt comfortable and loved while we were away. If you're looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own, we highly recommend Kyle and Max. We are incredibly grateful for everything they did for Harry and would not hesitate to book with them again! Thank you both for giving Harry such a fun-filled and loving home away from home! He misses you already.🐾❤️”

“Ariana was fantastic! She was extremely communicative and gave very detailed updates. My cat is very shy around new people and she was very accommodating of this. “I cannot say enough glowing things about Kirsten. My cat Lady absolutely loves her. My cat is shy but within 20 minutes of Kirsten first visiting, Lady was sniffing her hand. During my week away, every day, Kirsten sent me videos and photos of Lady playing and cuddling. What's more, Kirsten was flexible in scheduling, upgrading our visits when I asked. She followed all my care instructions. She went above and beyond and was proactive about communicating. When I came home, Lady wasn't clingy or anxious. She exuded confidence and happiness and I could tell she had been so well cared for! Thank you, Kirsten!”

“I couldn't have asked for a better person to make drop-in visits on my two cats twice a day for a week. Karla took great care of Brutus and Olive and did everything I asked and more. I appreciated the punctual reports and her messages were detailed and reassuring. I highly recommend Karla.”

“Susan was great helping out my maltese as we needed a sitter for the day. She was attentive and send us picture of our dog. Excellent at communicating and big thanks for taking care of our dog.”

“My yellow lab, Sandy, had a wonderful day with Claudia! Claudia was very responsive and engaging, fun, and bubbly. Since she was going to be taking care of another dog on the same day that I booked Sandy's stay, Claudia suggested that we meet both her and Bella (cutest pug ever!) ahead of time to see how the two dogs would get along. It was so nice to be able to do that so that it was easy for me to just drop Sandy off on her booked day without a worry. Claudia sent me fun videos and pictures throughout the day, which was fantastic. Sandy loved her! I will definitely book Claudia again whenever I am in Ithaca! She was fabulous!!”

About: I've had dogs my entire life from puppies to rescues! I've also been a grooming salon manager in Ithaca for 9 years. I've cared for many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks all dogs have and I love them all the same. I have two dogs of my own Luke and Yoda. Luke is a 6 year old lab mix around 35 lbs. He is very loving and playful. Yoda is a 5 year old miniature fox terrier mix who has unlimited energy and is the sweetest snuggler. I am home all day with my baby and two dogs of my own so I can give the same care to some extra dogs! I treat every dog as if they are my own. I have lots of extra blankets to make sure they have there own space (i do recommend to bring some of there stuff like blankets, beds, and toys to make them more comfortable) and have extra room to separate them if they need to be alone. I will always make sure they are comfortable, happy, loved, and safe!

We only host one dog at a time so your dog will get all the attention. There is a fenced yard in a calm/quiet neighborhood. Our schedules revolve around our dog Berkeley so your dog will get just as much personalized attention. My husband and I only host dogs when I am off of work/there are few other plans so your dog will rarely be left unattended Our home is spacious and there is a fenced yard so plenty of room for your dog and our dog Berkeley. “Chantal is a fabulous rover who always takes such sweet care of my puppy. He absolutely loves her and warmed up to her within minutes at our meet and greet. Chantal follows directions and provides great care with updates. Kind, intuitive, and nurturing she provided excellent care while my puppy recovered from a stomach bug. He gets excited every time we pull up to her home and happily awaits weekly visits. Great rover reliable and sincere, she completely turned our Rover experience around after a negative experience with a different Rover the first time we used the app. Repeat customer, we can always count on Chantal to offer amazing services.”

“Ashley and Brian took extra special care of Stella...who has never attended daycare. Their dogs were welcoming and they kept notes on her day and sent me an update on how she was doing within an hour of drop off. We couldn't be happier with how they took care of her and will be leaving her there again soon, as we are preparing Stella for a longer term stay while we vacation in September. We love that Ashley and Brian have a large fenced in back yard. We love that they make Stella feel like part of their family.”

“Maxine and Kyle are the sweetest, most lovely pair! They took amazing care of my dog and were very professional, responsive, and flexible with my plans. I would highly recommend them!”

About: I've taken care of dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities for a large portion of my life - from when I was a kid in Jersey until last year, when my sweet and challenging pit bull, Hudson passed away. I'm not in a position to adopt a new dog of my own yet, but spending time with yours would be the next best thing! I have a part-time job at a local artist residency with flexible hours. I have my own car and am available for multiple services at various times each day of the week. I have a fenced in yard and a large dog crate, 2 dog beds, and plenty of toys. I'm an extremely trustworthy person and would treat any client's home with the utmost respect and care. I'm an active runner and would love to take your dog for hikes and walks with me.
“This was my first time using Rover (and the first time having anyone outside of family care for my puppy), and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I have a young Doberman with a lot of energy, and Arya was patient, calm, and firm in just the right way—which is exactly what she needs. He took her on a nice long walk, and I really appreciated the videos he sent along the way. They gave me peace of mind and made the whole process so much less stressful. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for someone reliable and confident with energetic dogs!”

“Very pleased with Steve's service. It's apparent he takes his job seriously and felt my dog was well cared for. Steve wanted to make sure my energetic Australian Shepherd would be a good fit for an extended stay so he suggested to do a trial day/overnight. I appreciated his foresight!!”
