My dog wants to play with your dog!
My first rescue was a mixed breed puppy for our family. She died after 17 years of filling our hearts with joy. My second rescue was also a mixed breed puppy. She is very affectionate and energetic. I have watched dogs for my family and neighbors on multiple occasions. I have a huge yard with a pond for running and swimming and there is always lots of snuggles and love inside.

Yet again, Darlene and her husband took very good care of our dog, providing her with ample recreation and a safe environment in their home. They are very friendly and very accommodating of slight changes of the plan. Highly recommended!
We would definitely leave our dog with Darlene again. She was very warm, welcoming, and flexible... And our dog appeared to have a good time. She is a high energy dog, so that says a lot! I suspect it helped that Darlene has a dog as well.

Schedule
I work remotely 4 out of 5 weekdays. On the day I go into the office, my husband has the flexibility to stop in several times to walk the dog around the back yard and hand out treats.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is the number one concern and I would always have your dog leashed outside. Inside they would have plenty of space for play and rest .

A typical day
Roxanne and I go on a 2 mile walk every morning. In addition we explore the large back yard and big pond. There are lots of trees for marking! I have licking mats and play "calm my dog" on Alexa for rest periods.
