About: I have always had pets in my life. I was born into a house with cats and dogs and have had two dogs for as long as I can remember. I have taken care of the animals when my parents have been gone. We have had dogs old and young of all sizes and I love all animals big and small. I will love on animals and play with them, take care of them or just snuggle if they dont like to play. I will be with the animals as much as possible in between other jobs. I also have worked at petsmart in the pet hotel so I have a lot of knowledge and experience working with pets. I am currently working full time but I can let the dogs out before I go to work and then can go right after work as well. I go in at 8 am and get off at 330 pm I will take special care with each pet and be sure to follow the rules that are set by the pet parent. Because of working at petsmart I pay close attention to details and take special care of pets.

About: Fun fact: I began dog walking/sitting at just the age of 15 in Los Angeles, where I’m originally from. The old school way: pinning flyers around my neighborhood. My first client: a Great Dane as big as me. We soon became best friends. I am attentive and adapt easily to all sorts of pets — I know when it’s time to play, time to eat, and time to mellow out. I ensure all fur babies never feel like they are alone ~ In some way, we exchange. Whether it be through conversation, music, toy time, cuddles, and more. One of my proudest moments: An extremely shy black cat who rarely allows to be touched, laid on my tummy and napped for a couple of hours, at the third sitting call. I’m currently transitioning jobs (completely remote) and have ample free time to tap into all of my side gigs. Essentially, I am super flexible at this point in time. I, naturally, am active and will take long walks daily - and I’m sure your dog does too! If your dog enjoys running, we can do that together as well! As for cats, I love cuddles and purrs - my touch is soft, and I know cat play. I am naturally very observant and detail-oriented - meaning I will adapt according to your fur baby’s comfort level, preferences, and passions. Should your pet require a smaller, enclosed space, I will pick up on that! I am attentive to needs and ensuring water is filled up, and bellies are full when the time comes. I am also aware of keeping things out of reach when I am not around.

I was a little nervous because this was the first time I was leaving my dog with a new sitter but he settled in and had a great time!”

About: I have worked with dogs and cats in General practice vet clinics and ER vet clinics for over three years. I also have experience volunteering at animal shelters and dog sitting/cat sitting. My schedule is very flexible and I am available most days and times for your pet! I am even able to care for pets on weekends, early mornings and evenings. I have a one bedroom apartment and no animals in the house.I can keep up with feeding schedules, walking schedules, and any medical needs your pet may have such as providing medication. I primarily work from home... I create my schedule based on needs and have flexibility throughout the day... it is a no-brainer to do this. “Luna stayed at our house with our lab for a week. Our pup seemed happy when we returned; Luna had to give her meds twice a day and follow her multi a-step feeding schedule. The house was clean and orderly ( and mail was picked up!). We hope to be in contact with Luna every time we have to be away from home she was great and communicative!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments, with different energy levels and needs for decades. I’ve volunteered for rescues and fostered puppies and seniors. I am comfortable administering meds, giving baths, working on manners, caring for reactive pups, and will go out of my way to meet your dog’s needs. My flexible schedule gives me plenty of time for long walks and playing with pups on both weekdays and weekends (yes, I am very lucky). About: I'm a Cornell Animal Science graduate. I've grown up with dogs and cats my whole life, and trained 2 of those dogs by myself. I interned at a rescue horse ranch between high school and college, where I helped care for 7 horses and 9 dogs. My academic experience includes canine and feline behavioral and health courses, and research experience caring for and socializing dogs in research studies. Specific services: Housesitting: I have my own car, and can provide morning/evening care, as well as a 1-2hr lunch visit, depending on pet's routine and needs. I have no weekend commitments. Dog-walking: I am available for walks before 10a, between 12 and 2p, and after 6p. I have a flexible work schedule, so exact timing of visits can be adjusted (ie. midday walk at 11a or 3p, instead of 12-2 window). Drop-in visits: I am available for either once or twice daily feeding/walking visits, depending on distance from Ithaca, and pet's routine and needs. Timing same as dog-walking.

About: I have had dogs my entire life and have grown up in Ann Arbor, Michigan (go blue😉)! I’ve trained all my families dogs, have never hired a trainer. I have also pet sat for neighbours and family friends, and for extended periods of time. Cant wait to meet your little babies :) As a graduate student at Cornell, my schedule gives me flexibility throughout the week to incorporate pet care into my routine. I’m available for morning and evening visits, walks, and check-ins, as well as additional availability on weekends. I’m happy to work with each pet’s established routine and can plan my schedule in advance to make sure they receive consistent, reliable care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to follow their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. I carefully follow instructions for feeding, walks, medications if needed, playtime, and any other specific needs. I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention and exercise, keep their space clean and comfortable, and provide regular updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away.
