My childhood home was filled with unconditional love for our rescue animals. As an adult, I've continued adopting pets in need, and have dedicated my life to saving animals and advocating for their care. I am a NYS licensed wildlife rehabilitator and volunteer at two domestic and wildlife clinics. I am well-versed in medication administration, reading body language (especially reactive/anxious animals), and creating a trustworthy environment for your pet to feel relaxed and comfortable. My whole heart belongs to animals. It is difficult for me to be away from my own rescue pets, and through Rover, I have found someone I can truly trust with my beloved family members when I'm away or at work. Through diligent communication, dependability and care, I hope I can be that person for you, so that you will have peace of mind, knowing your pets are safe and well-loved in your absence. 🤍

My cats are super shy and I figured there was no way they would come out for Kirsten when she dropped in to feed them, but by the second visit she was literally feeding them from her hand! First time using a pet sitter and could not have been happier!
Was very attentive to my cat, and took a lot of great pictures and videos!
Kirsten was fantastic! She always kept us updated with lots of photos, and our dog had so much fun with her. We’ll definitely book with her again!

Kirsten was so sweet to our boy, we could tell that he took to her quickly. She sent us cute pictures of them on a walk and it really helped to put our minds at ease while we were out for the evening. We look forward to booking her again and are pretty sure our pup looks forward to it as well! 🙏🐾🐾

I have a flexible schedule and am available weekdays and weekends at your convenience. Please feel free to reach out for specific dates and times!

- I am very familiar with anxious and reactive dogs, as well as animals with special needs. Please let me know what to look out for with regard to triggers and situations where your pet needs a little extra patience and tlc!
