About: I have years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all kinds! I grew up with large breed dogs, cats, hamsters, fish and more so I’m very comfortable caring for animals of all sizes and temperaments. In addition to my home being filled with animals growing up, i have spent several years volunteering at my local cat shelter. About: I have taken care of pets since I was six years old, starting with a few fish. Then it developed into lizards, birds, hermit crabs and dogs. Walking dogs helps get my steps in and I especially love the longer walks. As a student, my Mondays are busy, but all other days are mostly free except for the late mornings. I keep alarms set at home for when to feed my pets so everyone knows when it’s breakfast and dinner time! Three times a day I will take my dog out for 30-minute to an hour long walk. As a 75lbs husky, my dog loved to pull on the leash but I was able to slowly train him out of that habit. Now he walks beside me and makes walking around the neighborhood a breeze!
