I currently volunteer at the Ithaca SPCA, where I walk dogs every Sunday. My family has 6 dogs total, from a Chihuahua to Pit Bulls, so I’m quite familiar with taking care of different sizes, ages, and breeds. About: I've taken care of dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities for a large portion of my life - from when I was a kid in Jersey until last year, when my sweet and challenging pit bull, Hudson passed away. The fourteen years I spent with him taught me everything I could possibly want to know about how to care for a dog. I love and miss him so. I'm not in a position to adopt a new dog of my own yet, but spending time with yours would be the next best thing! I have a part-time job at a local artist residency with flexible hours. About: I have always lived with pets! :) I grew up with dogs Ella and Koikkie when I was little, and loved walking and playing with them. In college I couldn't have a dog, but I did get my first cat, Oliver. He was more or less feral when we found him but with lots of love and food, he became a lap cat with a happy home on a farm. Two years ago I moved to Ithaca, and have two 3-year old Siberian cats, Nadja and Moose. They need a lot of exercise and play which includes taking them out on leashes to walk around the block. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
