About: I've taken care of dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities for a large portion of my life - from when I was a kid in Jersey until last year, when my sweet and challenging pit bull, Hudson passed away. The fourteen years I spent with him taught me everything I could possibly want to know about how to care for a dog. I love and miss him so. I'm not in a position to adopt a new dog of my own yet, but spending time with yours would be the next best thing! I have a part-time job at a local artist residency with flexible hours. I keep alarms set at home for when to feed my pets so everyone knows when it’s breakfast and dinner time! Three times a day I will take my dog out for 30-minute to an hour long walk. As a 75lbs husky, my dog loved to pull on the leash but I was able to slowly train him out of that habit. Now he walks beside me and makes walking around the neighborhood a breeze!

walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
