“Anika is a wonderful dog walker. My 9 month old miniature poodle Russet, who just joined our family, and who is scared of meeting new people, quickly got to know Anika, thanks to her calm demeanor and skills around skittish dogs. Anika came reliably and communicates with us regularly. It was a stressful first week with a puppy for me, trying to manage the puppy’s needs while also working full time. Anika made this week happen for me. I felt Russet was getting the care he needed mid-day when Anika took him for a walk and I was able to focus on my work with a untroubled heart over leaving a puppy home for an extended period of time.”

“I can't recommend Noah enough! She is fantastic with my dog, who can be a bit shy with new people, but Noah immediately put her at ease. She is punctual, communicates well, and sends me updates (and adorable photos!). I feel completely at ease knowing my dog is in such good hands.”

“Jae was great! I could tell Nox really enjoyed his time with her and I'll definitely be working with her again :)”

“Georgia is an excellent and trustworthy sitter/walker for your dog. She is very communicative and responds quickly. When plans change she is flexible and accommodating. And my dog loves her, which is frankly the most important thing.”

“Kait is awesome!! I am a teacher and she is always available when I have to stay after for work to walk Rue. She noticed she had goopy eyes and gave her a warm compress as well as took awesome photos! I don’t trust many with my fur baby; but I highly recommend Kait!! Thank you!!”

About: I’ve loved dogs ever since I was a child and I finally convinced my parents to rescue one a few years ago! I’ve been the sole caretaker of him since he joined our family and I’ve taken him through the process of crate training, basic commands, recall and potty training! My dog Mav is my best friend and my pride and joy so I would love to take care of yours just the same! I’m currently home from college in Boston and am looking for some part time dog walking and care. I am available all day on most weekdays and I am available on weekends at any time. I have a fenced yard with one dog that sleeps in an outside house. I am also used to crating dogs so I can fit the needs of your household!

About: I’ve always been a dog person all my life. I just have a way with dogs. Patience is the best way to try your animals. Family members rely on me to feed their animals. Currently working at a grocery store so my hours are always different. When I finish working though I head straight over to where I need to go. Sometimes I head over before I have to work too. I take the animals outside when they need to go to the bathroom. While I’m out there I watch carefully over them. I comfort and pay attention to them. I talk to them like they are humans.

“My dogs are so relaxed when I come home from work! Reliable, kind, and took extra time to walk the dogs further because it was nice outside 🩷”

About: I’ve been dog sitting for most of my life! I am also an owner of a bichon poodle :) I love meeting all different types of animals! I am free anytime during the week to watch your animal. I am located out of Collegetown, Ithaca. Weekends I cannot stay over night but I can during the week. I have plenty of experience with all different types of animals and am prepared if any issues do arise. I will stay in contact with the host though out (and send cute pictures of your animal)!

“Thanks so much for coming to our rescue! We were too sick to walk our corgi this week. Lauren came and helped her get some good exercise.”

“Cayenne walked my dog weekly for a few months. She was very prompt, easy to get ahold of, communicative and great at letting me know ahead of time if her schedule had changed. She took my dog on nice long walks and he was always nice and tired when I’d get home from work! My pup really liked her, he can be quite energetic and she handled him with ease and care. I would highly recommend Cayenne for your pet needs!”

About: A second year veterinary student at Cornell University. As a veterinary student I have plenty of experience with all types of animals. I have been in and out of veterinary clinics since high school and before I came to Cornell, I spent 3 years working full time as a veterinary assistant at small animal veterinary hospitals. I also have some wildlife and horse experience if that need ever arises. I have two dogs of my own (a yellow lab and a black lab I am currently training to be a future service dog) and so I have plenty of my own experience owning and training dogs. I have a fenced in yard, however, I do live in a house with dogs and cats (as any veterinary student would) so a dog/cat friendly atmosphere is preferred should your fur baby need to come to my house. I am a student and most of my classes are in the morning and afternoon. I am usually busy from around 7-3 pm but it definitely varies a lot by day. I can stop by anytime before (sometimes during) and after that time period. I have a fenced in yard and a very dog friendly house. I am a veterinary student with two labs so I am well aware of the danger of leaving things lying around (my puppy eats everything she can see!). I can host a dog in my house for a short time period but since I do have other animals in my house, I require that they be friendly with the other animals (dogs, cats) in my house.

“Allie has been beyond wonderful!! She has been coming mid day to give our puppy some walks and some quality time!! She really makes our day go so much better and has been taking away some of the stress away!! We couldn't do it without her!! 1000 percent recommended!!”

About: I grew up with big dogs and currently have an 11-year-old black lab mix. I know how to get a puppy to go outside, and I know how to stimulate a senior dog that can't go on long walks. I would love to meet your dog and make them as comfortable as they can be! Your dog will be spending a great deal of time with me and Brisco, as we're both home during the workday! We like to go on long walks in the middle of the day and hang out outside enjoying the sunshine. We have a great deal of space for the dog to walk around inside, and a fenced in backyard for them to explore. We also have access to a creek in the 14 acre Christmas tree farm behind our home, where they can go on long walks on a leash with us and Brisco!

About: Hi, I'm Chris. I work in the gig economy and have taken care of a few dogs and cats in town and am looking for more clients. I can water plants, feed fishes and check the mail. I like to draw and can draw your pet if you want too. I have enjoyed taking care of pets when I travel far away and would be happy to look after your pets here or wherever. I have one client in town and one out of town. I work a flexible schedule so can accommodate both of them and many more. I would like to do less driving work and work more with rover, as it just wears the car out. I also sell drawings sometimes when inspired. At this time, I'm not currently having pets stay at my house. Maybe in the future I will host animals. I don't have the right space yet.

About: I grew up with dogs and have been a canine lover since I was a child. As an adult I have enjoyed dog sitting and walking for many friends and relatives. I know that every dog is special and has a unique personality. I love getting to know each dog so that they have a safe and fun experience when they’re with me. I am currently substitute teaching part-time and so I am available for dog walking or sitting for 3-5 days every week. In the summer my schedule will be even more flexible for these services. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I always respect the space, culture, and boundaries of my client and their pet(s). I communicate with my clients to ensure that I honor their lifestyles and routines to provide a safe, trusting, and loving experience for their pets.

About: If I wasn’t pursuing acting, I would be working with animals. I absolutely love animals, and have taken care of many of my friends dogs and other pets over the years. I find animals so interesting and personable, and I love getting to know them as individual, and giving them lots of care and love. I am a big guy at 6’2” so I can handle all sizes of dogs. I’m also a serial Caesar Millan dog whisperer watcher. I am in ithaca for the summer so I have a lot of free time to help take care of any animals you have. Very available. I will be happy to help care for your pet however you see fit. At home we have 2 cats who we let roam around our yard and area, but I understand that everyone has their own way that they like their pets to be taken care of and I like to honor that.

About: Animals have always meant so much in my life. I have two cats and a dog and have never lived without an animal in my home. I've been through multiple training classes with my pets so I understand the nuances that come with raising animals. My experience includes 10 years of pet sitting for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, and even a bird, so you know your pet will be in good hands! **If you would like me to watch your pet for multiple days, I unfortunately will not be able to stay over. I will go to your house three times a day, however, and make sure they get all the care they need in that time.** I just graduated college and am spending the summer working part-time as an artist assistant. When I am not working, I will be checking in on your pet at your house, making sure they have the necessities they need. I will make sure they get time to play and go outside as much as they want! I will come over to your house and check on your pet multiple times a day. If you would like me to stay over I will be more than happy to, but I can also just check in throughout the day as well. They will get all the exercise and attention they desire!

About: Living with family dogs since the age of 5 I have completely fallen in love. My favorite job has been at a doggy daycare when I get to interact and watch over all the well being of the dogs. I also have a month of pet sitting experience with the full care package. I am currently looking for a job in Ithaca after a long winter adventure in Vermont. I've got loads of free time and dogs make me the happiest! I would love to fit in your pets needs into my schedule. I have a fenced in yard with space to run for my 2 pooches at home. If I am at a clients home I am young and active and can provide long walks and frequent bathroom breaks. As well as attention and affection, I love to see a happy dog that knows its valued, I will make your dog feel loved.

About: Hi! My name is Emery and I am a recent college grad. I've had a wide variety of pets that I've taken care of in the 7 years of experience I have. I have taken care of dogs for about 4 years and have experience feeding, walking, and watching dogs. I also really enjoy taking dogs on hikes! I have mostly done house drop ins where I would feed the dogs and play with them. I own three cats myself, Pumpkin (13), Bean (11 weeks old) and Sprout (3). I have trained the older ones to do tricks and to go on walks. My most recent experience has mostly been in care for cats, where I would feed and play with them at home visits. I am currently a line cook and I work mostly evenings. I can easily work pet care around my schedule by making sure I go to take care of your pet needs before any shift. I have two cats at home, and I am willing to house cats at my home. Small dogs are allowed on a case by case basis. I have an extra bedroom to be used as a safe zone for your pet's privacy. I also already have extra litter boxes. Our cats here have experience meeting other cats and dogs. They interact well with them. As for dogs I am willing to dedicate as much time needed to make sure they adjust well and feel safe with me. I love to play with dogs and give them belly rubs.

During our intro interview he asked all of the right questions...how does your dog like to be picked up,questions about their food,do they like belly rubs. Of course! While I was on vacation he sent photos of the pets at play and relaxing. Paul is a sweetheart of a person himself and I would totally trust my fur babies in his care.”
