“AMAZING CARE!! This was the first time we have boarded our 15 month old GSD for more than 1 night, so we obviously wanted to find someone who would be good with her while we were on vacation for 10 days. Arya is not only good with his boarding practices, but he is also fantastic with “reading” dogs and has a deep understanding of them and their individual behaviors/needs. Nika has not been properly socialized because of my neurological condition, and difficulty walking her. She lunges at other dogs and has pulled me over. Arya had this frantic behavior and her “skittish” energy around other dogs diminished by the second day! There were daily videos (often 2-3) of her doing different things (walking, eating, interacting with his 3 dogs, lying in the crate, etc.) Excellent communication, and immediate responses to questions. We will absolutely be using Arya again for boarding, and are also considering training classes!!! Thanks again Arya!!! Nika had fun ?”

“Laura is an incredible caregiver to our 1 year old energetic and affectionate beagle! She is responsive, nurturing, and thoughtful! I feel so assured when our pup is in Laura’s care. 100% recommend!”

“Robert and Eileen were so wonderful with our dog Poppy! This was our first time leaving her with a sitter, she usually goes everywhere we do. They made her comfort and care a priority, and we are so grateful for that. She had a wonderful time, and came home exhausted in the best way! Excellent communication and very accommodating, we would certainly book another stay with them!”

“I am fully comfortable leaving Marley with Andrea. During her stay, Marley had some stomach issues, and Andrea kept me updated the entire time. Sometimes after staying with a sitter, Marley can be a bit clingy. You would not know I was gone with how relaxed she was when I returned. I highly recommend Andrea!”

“Rose provided a caring , delightful home for our Seamus while we were away . She communicated beautifully, was so responsive and outstanding in every possible respect. We’re super grateful and recommend her heartily , and will seek her out when we go away again.”

“This was my first time leaving my dog with a sitter and I chose them based on their description, reviews and repeat customers on Rover. I was impressed with Steve’s responsiveness and methodical approach at our meet and greet. My dog Portia was immediately comfortable there and returned happy and tired from her stay. I recommend this service and would use them again.”

“Ashley and her family took wonderful care of my Siberian Husky for a week while I was traveling. They sent daily updates with photos and made sure he had lots of play sessions, regular feeding times, potty breaks and loving care. I would use them again, overall a great dog boarding experience!”

“Jennifer was wonderful with Joe. She pampered him during his visit with lots of snuggles, and even a park trip! Joe was very happy during his time with her. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

“Alexandria was awesome. Easygoing, communicative, flexible and totally capable. We really appreciate her taking care of our sweet pup for the night! He came back happy as a clam.”

“Georgia was wonderful with my dog, Lu. She treated Lu to playtime at the dog park, hikes in the woods, and even a swim in a local gorge. Georgia was incredible with her communication while I was traveling. In one of the pictures she shared with me, Lu looks so full of joy. 🥰 Not only did I feel comfortable with Lu’s care, I felt secure knowing that Lu was having a vacation herself- receiving ample cuddles and engaging play. I would highly recommend Georgia for your boarding, sitting or walking needs. She is really top-tier. The best experience I’ve had with care for my pet, hands down.”

“Dana was wonderful! She took great care of Scooch! She took him on many walks throughout his stay and they had a lot of outside time to enjoy the nice weather. She sent pictures and videos which reassured me that he was happy. Thank you Dana we will definitely be booking with you again !”
“During the introduction meeting Carolina and her family were all so welcoming and kind and Carolina was obviously on point professionally so I was completely comfortable with leaving Onyx with them. The appointment went very smoothly and I highly recommend her to anyone needing a dog-sitter.”

“Amazing! Super accommodating with drop off and pick up times, and my dog had a great time with her and her dog. Came home happy and exhausted. Would definitely recommend and use again!”

“Maxine was a fantastic sitter for my puppy! Took her on hikes almost daily and handled her meds and everything with no issue. She also took some fantastic photos and shared updates daily. Highly recommend!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Caroline
Mikia took in our 2yo pup like he was part of the family. He had a large fenced in yard to play in, two friendly dogs to play with, and plenty of warmth and cuddles from Mikia and her daughter. He even got his own stocking on Christmas Day! Arrangements were easy and made convenient for us. Mikia is a wonderful person! Would definitely rebook.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
